I bought these shoes based upon the many reviews I read from nurses. I normally wear size 38 European but followed advice and ordered a size 37, which is the right size for my feet. These shoes are very comfortable but the arch support is so high that my arches feel tired at the end of the shift. If you don't have arch problems, these shoes might give you them until your feet adjust. However, the cushioning is great and I like the rocker sole, it's very comfortable. But beware - when these shoes appear shiny in the photos, that means they truly are shiny. I bought the Black Stone Leather Seville. The thread is silver, and half of the little squares are perfect matte finish leather and the other half are shiny. I would like these shoes so much better is they had black thread and no shine. The cutesy butterfly is also unnecessary, as I am not an elementary school child. I don't mind the shape of them, I usually wear Doc Martens, and I like the sole, it's just the unnecessary pizazz that makes them look disco-ballish and glittery that I don't like.

Love them. I stand on my feet all day in an operating room, and they feel great. Only draw back, they stain my white socks-the insole and the toes.

Just got them and haven't tried them out yet, so I will write another review later - but I am amused by all who wrote that they run large. I wear a standard US 9, no special issues, so I ordered a 40, and they are too small, so I am exchanging them for a 41. I have never worn a 10 in my life!

I love the comfort but having to much trouble getting these to stay on my feet. I tightened that straps as far as I could then made more holes but still would not stay on. They kept slipping off my heels with or without socks.

These are my favorite shoes to wear! I got the pair with sparkly blue honeycombs and I just love them so much. They are soo comfy as long as I’m on hard floors but do not expect these to be a good pair of shoes for walking/hiking outdoors, particularly not good for wet, grassy, and hilly surfaces. The nonslip soles perform super well on slick solid surfaces.

These shoes are both very pretty and also very, very comfortable. I have a hammer toe, and have broken the 5th metatarsal in both feet in the past which results in some pain at times. I really appreciate that the opening of these shoes is finished without any rough edges and the finished edge also has a cushioned area of about 1/2" all the way across. My only complaint about this clog (and the other style clogs that I tried) is the interior fabric causes a lot of friction when you slide your foot into the clog with socks on. All in all it is a very good, light weight clog that is replacing my old slippers for use as a house shoes with more support then slippers provide. Thanks Zappos for your patience while I tried so many different styles - I finally have found a great clog and will be ordering more of them as I see new patterns/fabrics on the outside.

These are great shoes! The silver stitching is so fun, and the glittery blue honeycomb is my favorite pattern I have ever seen on shoes. That said, I was surprised to send back a size 38 in favor of size 39. The 39’s are perfect but bigger than i would usually order. The smaller size fit with my heel along the back edge seam (which felt bumpy and uncomfortable) and my toes didn’t go all the way to the front. Once I got the size right, these became my favorite shoes!

I work in surgery and I'm on my feet all day long. I've worn Asics, Danskos, and Birkenstocks and these shoes beat them all hands down!!! I have severe osteoarthritis in both of my ankles from previous injuries and these shoes have been the best thing for my ankles and feet. I can wear regular socks with them but I'm usually wearing my compression socks. And after a 19 hour day, my feet may be a little sore but nowhere near where they used to be with all the others I've tried. I highly recommend these to try and will stick to these as my work shoe.

Super comfortable. My go-to choice with jeans, even ok with a skirt if I have a lot of walking to do. Not the most stylish but no clogs really are. They are more comfortable than my Dansko's as other reviewers said. I got a slight blister on a very hot day walking 6 miles in them in Manhattan without any socks, but I've worn them mostly without socks many times before and since without any problems. I like that I can tighten or loosen the strap if I'm wearing socks or if my feet swell which the do occasionally due to various autoimmune issues. It's really great to have shoes that can go up or down a size like these. I have flat, small (size 6) narrow feet and these are comfortable and not too wide like some clogs.

Alegria means happiness, and my feet (and i) are very happy. These shoes are comfortable out of the box. I have worn them for 3 days, including grocery shopping. Usually the first thing i do when i get home is kick off my shoes - but these were so comfortable, even at the end of the day, i just kept them on. no metatarsal or heel issues, no chafing or blisters, perfect! I will definitely buy more of this brand!!!

First of all I love Alegria and Zappos but for my taste I am returning these, while they fit perfectly without socks, they felt too tight wearing socks. I have a wide foot narrow heel, high arches and instep. The top of the shoe was a bit too snug for my preference. I may try the next size up at some point but for now, it's best I wear out the clogs I already have.

I read that these are as good as Dansko's and so far that is the case. I have flat feet and often find that arch supports in shoes are uncomfortable but these are so comfortable. I haven't worn them for hours on end yet but kept them on all day around the house as well as out running errands and they are very comfortable. Maybe even more comfortable than my Dansko's. I think they run a little large but they are perfect with thick socks for the winter and still feel like my arch hits in the right place when I wear them barefoot in the house. I can adjust them with the strap so they fit a little closer to my feet without socks, which I like. My feet sometimes swell due to an autoimmune condition, so having shoes that give me breathing room but that I can also adjust when all is well are excellent. Not the prettiest clogs - but then, they are clogs. Cute enough with jeans and I like that the heel doesn't feel like one since it's a small platform.

This is a clog that makes the foot look like duck feet. Not great if fashion is a high priority. But…the lining is soft and velvet-like. There is arch support. They flex with the movement of my foot. They feel more like my running shoes which is what I was looking for in a different type of support. I wear them without socks with no issue. My feet stay warm and do not sweat. I have not adjusted the swivel strap and I’ve only worn them as a slide on. I am a size 10 and the size 41 fit perfectly which is typical for me. I had a spinal fusion a few months ago and I stand on my feet 8 to 10 hours a day. I chose these over the Dansko. I now wear these all day everyday. My running shoes have been tucked away into to the closed.

Amazing! I have metatarsalgia and need a shoe that does not put pressure on the ball of my foot. I have no pain in these shoes and I wear them to work, around town, to the mall, anywhere I have to stand or walk a lot. they are stylish and I have received compliments when I wear them. I am a size 8, ordered the 38 and they fit perfect. If you want to wear thicker socks I'd order a size up.

These are wonderful. I have problems with shoes not having enough metatarsal support and these work just fine. I can stand or walk in them all day. They are a little bit stiff in the beginning but I'm sure they will loosen up over time. Loving them so far.

I like Alegria shoes. Like my other Alegria shoes, these have good arch support, but they're not as comfortable as my other two shoes of the same brand.

These shoes are really comfortable. I am an impossible fit, have lots of foot problems and pain. They have great arch support and I was able to wear them for hours and hours with no break-in time.

Love these shoes! So comfortable right out of the box. The size is right on & I love the colors. I get lots of compliments. I have bad knees & hips and they really are nice.

I love these shoes. I have arthritis in my knees and need super flat shoes, so had to part with my favorite Sofft clogs. I've been wearing Birkis but there's just not the cushion / shock absorption I need. I've worn Danskos too but wanted a larger toe bed and less heel and more room across the top of my feet. My Algeria Seville Professional fit the bill and I've ordered a closed heel pair and another clog pair.

These shoes are very comfortable! I have bone spurs on the backs of my heels, so wearing shoes with regular heel counters can be very painful, as I walk or run at least five miles a day. Can't use these to run in, but they work very well for walking, and give my feet a break from regular shoes.

I love these shoes! I have gotten compliments on them from day one! The real advantage to them for me is the arch support; I've been dealing with Plantar Fasciitis. I work in a large hospital and do a lot of walking. I feel like Cinderella--finally a shoe that's a perfect fit! Thank you, Zappos!

As a nurse I had worn Alegria for quite a while, for the support and comfort and durability, but now retired I wanted the same comfort for all around wear. These work out great for everyday. No foot pain or leg discomfort at the end of the day, fit, support and wear well. I would love to get a pair in navy blue nappa leather. Zappos get them to me fast and the customer service is outstanding! I just received a pair of Alegria sandals as a gift for summer and cannot wait to wear them as well!

These clogs are very comfortable, both with and without the strap. Perfect for those of us with bunions and arthritic toes. I first ordered the paisley design - which was very cute, but too busy for me. I've returned for the black. I'm a 6-6.6 and 36 was perfect.

I find the Seville is the most comfortable of the Alegria shoes - it has a very well cushioned footbed and incredible soft upper lining. Very comfortable barefoot. I have surgery scars on the top of my foot and this is the only shoe that does not press or irritate it. Surprisingly, it grips my foot nicely and does not slide around. My go to shoe for everything I can possibly get away with. I am generally a 9½M and I wear a 40 in this shoe

Because of my bad right foot I have a terrible time finding shoes that fit. I am 5'6" and weigh more than I should, with very flat feet. These shoes are fabulous. I usually wear a 8½, but decided to go to the 9-9½ size. I am so glad that I did as they are perfection. I got the wide which is also perfect for my very flat feet. I cannot express enough how happy I am that I found comfortable shoes that are less expensive than Finn Comfort but just as wonderful. Buy them, you will not be sorry.
