So comfortable right from the very first time I put them on. I like the strap in the back to help keep them on, although they stay on well without the strap. Stylish, fun, and most of all so much more comfortable than Danskos for me.

I wear these shoes every day. They're comfortable and pretty. Standing for a spell is no longer a pain. Walking long distance is not a problem. People notice them and make favorable comments. They're a tad unusual looking but I think they're pretty! My favorite Alegria is the Frida Classic.

Great looking casual shoe. Very comfortable, and I've gotten several compliments on them.

My back and knees feel great when I wear these shoes. The arch support is the best I've found. I love them.

I loved this shoe and would have kept it but I missed that it was suede (not good for summer), so switched for the black snake. They have the back strap which is essential if you have a narrow foot as this shoe runs wide. I make it work because this is the most comfortable shoe I have every had regardless of price. Wish they made a narrow width, they do look a little like a boat, but still really cute. The patent leather ones are a little stiff, but still very cute.

These are my new work shoes! After years of working all day on my feet in running-shoes, it was time for an upgrade. I don't get foot cramps at night anymore. I love the leather insole and the 'rocker-stride' build of the shoe. Without the heel strap, I would slip out of them, so I hope it holds up for many years to come!

Nappa brown is a great, neutral shade. It's a cute shoe, but a little too casual for what I needed. The coverage went a little too high on the top of my foot for a slip-on vs. a mule, so I chose a different style (thanks to awesome Zappos!).

I ordered a size down due to the many comments to do so, and now I'm having to return them for being too small. I am a size 8 (always...), but in euro sized shoes always a 39. I went down to a 38 due to the comments, but should have stuck with my usual 39. The shoes have a lump that should fit the mid-foot, arch area, but it was too far forward due to the incorrect sizing.

I bought this, because I grew out of my Dansko's after having a baby, the tops of my feet grew taller. I love the look of the shoe, but it seems to make me walk a bit funny and not too comfortable by the end of the day. I'm not sure how to pinpoint the issue, it might be the thickness of sole. I still like the style and the ability to slip them on and off with my newborn is worth the shortcomings.

Alegria shoes are so comfortable. Frankly this style has a very homely toe shape, but I'm sticking with them because of plantar fasciitis in one foot. A more fashionable upgrade from Alegria would be appreciated.

These are certainly comfortable shoes, but I bought them to wear casually to run errands in. I live in Brussels so I am always on the hunt for something that works on cobblestones when you are in a hurry or carrying shopping bags. While these will do the trick, they are so not me. They are clunky, matronly and made my feet look horribly fat. I am petite at 5'2" and weigh about 105 pounds. So if you are small like me, you might also find them to look like boats. For everyone who stands all day at a job I imagine they are the bomb. They were returned for something more stylish.

I am a huge fan of the Palomas, so I thought I would try this shoe for the summer. I was disappointed because my great toes hurt at the end of my work day. They are somewhat better after a little wear, but, my Palomas did not have to be "broken in".

I bought these shoes vs Dansko because of all the great recommendations but have worn them for 3 weeks now and they have rubbed blisters on the lateral side of both feet. I don't have wide feet and wear a regular size 8. Sad they didn't work out considering I threw the box away.

I am an OR nurse, and am on my feet for much of my work day. Have tried Dansko shoes, but they are too hard for me. My new Alegrias are terrific! They have so much support and are so comfortable. Couldn't be happier. Thank you!

Hands down the best work shoes ever! My coworkers swore these were the best shoes ever. And I took a chance and bought them and they truly are! I am a nurse and work 12 hour shifts and not only are my feet saved from aches/pains but I get 3-7 compliments a day from patients (even when they are in severe pain) saying how much they "love my shoes"...and "who makes them" my coworker and I think we should star in a commercial for the company or at least get a commission check for all the referrals!

I am an Alegria convert thanks to the Seville and Paloma designs. I am a nurse and stand 12-14 hours a day; I also suffer from plantar fascitis. Alegria relieves most of my foot pain and helps my back, too! These are great shoes for professionals who stand all day at work. Both of my Alegria's needed to be "broken in" a bit around my 4th and 5th toes; by the end of the day the first week or so my toes would be reddened and sore, but that is a problem that is quickly resolved with wear.

I use these for work. They look fine with scrubs and are easy to clean. Super comfy. Decent arch support. Nice, quiet, rocker soles. Much more comfortable than Danskos. Size 39 recommended for 9 1/2. Would prefer 40 as I wear thicker socks.

Feel the "slips on's" run a bit small/narrow. For me, it is difficult to get my foot all the way into the shoe. Love the non grip inside, very comfortable. Will try next size up.

I love these shoes! The print is so much more beautiful in person and I love that you can slip the strap back if you need the extra support. I haven't had a problem slipping out of them, even without a back on it. They are super comfy and supportive. I wear a size 8 normally and the 38 fits absolutely perfectly. I look forward to putting them on every day! I just ordered a pair of Alegrias for my mom. And, of course, I love Zappos!

Hands down, ordering from Zappos is the best. I typically order before noon on any give day and, voila!, it's at my door the next morning. Returns are exceedingly easy to do and free, to boot. Zappos, I am always bragging about your service and reams of shoes from which to select. My husband is not as pleased. He rolls his eyes a lot! The Alegria clogs are awesome.

I just received these today in the black stone leather and all I can say is "Oh my gosh!" These are my new favorite shoes ever. They are super cute. The picture does not do the shoes justice. And after a long day and tired feet, to slip these on was amazing. I have been looking for these shoes for years and did not even know it. I am already plotting my next Alegria purchase. I wear a size 8 very predictably and the 38 fits perfectly. I love that I can slip the strap back to my heel if I need to, but from what I can tell, that probably will not be necessary. The colors in the shoes are black overall with nice purpley blues in the shimmery parts. The arch support is nice and I can tell that the shoes are cushioned enough to make a day's worth of work comfortable. I look forward to wearing these for a long time.

I bought these shoes for my daughter who is a nurse and on her feet 12 hours a day. This is her second pair of Alegria and she loves them because they are so comfortable. All the other nurses thought they were so cute and are going to buy them.

Love the look & feel of these shoes. The ball of my feet are very sensitive, but with these shoes I can travel through the day & night without a problem.

I almost sent these shoes back due to two problems: when I first tried them on, they were so tight across the instep that I didn't think I could possibly wear them, and the footbed seemed short. The instep problem is a common one for me, but the length was a new one. I had already sent back another Alegria style because the heel on them (Mary Janes) had no cushioning at the top and rubbed. Everything else was great and I hated to send them back; the footbed was like memory foam. So I ordered clogs instead. I was about to send these back and give up on the brand. Thankfully, before sealing the box, I took these out one last time, adjusted the buckled strap across the top (that had appeared ornamental) and they fit. With socks they were still a little tight at first, but have loosened. The footbed still feels short--my heels are at the very back--when I wear socks. I would probably go up a size next time. These shoes prevent me from experiencing knee and hip pain after standing on hard terrazzo floors all day (recommend them for teachers), which makes them well worth the investment.

I have 2 pair of the Seville-style Alegrias: this one and the black leather. The black leather is actually a little more comfortable; it almost seems like it has a little more "give" than this one. This one feels slightly narrower and a bit more stiff...I'm hoping it stretches a bit. I do get a lot of compliments on this shoe and it is still very comfortable, as are all the Alegrias I've worn. (I have plantar fasciitis and Alegria is about the only shoe that I can stand in all day without having extreme foot pain.)
