Alegria is a very supportive shoe, I have struggled with Planter fasciitis, Neuroma and hammer toe. I wear these at home, all the time. I'm a size 9, and exchanged the original size 39 for a 40, because my heel was right at the edge. Nice arch, not too high, and roomy toe box. I think these are better than Dansko. And you can replace the insole!

This is my 4th pair of Alegria shoes. I have a pair of Paloma, Classic & this was my second pair of Seville. They hurt my feet, so they're going back.

This is my second pair of Alegrias. I have a pair of thongs which I like a lot. These "shiver my timbers" are a style I would not have bought years ago because although the comfort and color are gorgeous they are kind of clunky. But I have developed Achilles tendonitis which demands something different. These answer that need. These are great. I am going to order another pair as well if one of the colors appeals.

Love this shoe! I have made the switch from Dansko to Alegria ever since my big toe on both feet were feeling numb. I bought the Debras in a 38 and 39 and felt they were either too small or too big. Bought the Kaylas in 39 and they fit fine. Decided to try the Sevilles and they fit perfectly. I wear them at work for over 10 hours a day and no blisters, no numbness in toes, more mobility in my feet when walking, and overall a good, cushiony fit with great arch support. I wish there were more color options though. I will definitely be buying more of this Alegria style in the future!

I am a waitress at a very busy restaurant. I pretty much need a running shoe with the support of an orthotic shoe that is also slip resistant, that will keep me going for 10-12 hours at a time. I suffer from plantar fasciitis, have a tendency to land too hard on the balls of my feet, knee problems, and sciatica. I wore these right out of the box, and have worked four shifts in these shoes, with no other breaking in pain than in my right pinky toe, which is retarded anyway. Whether you have a high arch or flat feet, these will be supportive enough. The insole really does form to your feet. The way the bottom of the sole is shaped, your foot will not over bend and strain. My feet feel relaxed in them. I wear a 9½, sometimes a 10, I have a wide toe bed and a skinny heel. These shoes fit perfectly! I have tried a couple of other models of shoes by this brand to wear as a work shoe, and the heels were too wide. This not having a back solves that problem. I love that the strap can be worn over the top of the shoe or around the back of the ankle. I do not think that I will be trying shoes of this brand with a back due to my skinny heel problem, but I will own half a dozen pairs of this shoe by the end of the year, I guarantee you. For your own sake, buy this shoe. If you do not, you are missing out.

I became addicted to Alegria shoes a couple of years ago when I was looking for a comfortable footwear for cooking school. Great slip resistance for the tile over concrete floors that we work on for hours. My ankles, knees and lower back all benefitted from the great support. They do run short but I find that most shoes in the Euro sizes do, I would normally wear a 9-9.5 US but almost always have to get a 40. I now have 4 pair of my own, 2 of which are the Seville. I like that you can slide the strap in the back although I don't need to do so. I have gifted these to some friends who also appreciate comfort and made them Algeria converts. I swear if I was Oprah, these would be given away to everyone as one of my favorite things!

I'm a hairdresser and on my feet many hours a day. Add to that, I have plantar fasciitis, which causes agonizing pain in my feet. Alegria are the only shoes I can wear for hours at a time that keep my feel function and don't cause more pain/inflammation. I have several pairs. I bought these so I'd have some slip on clogs to wear around the house. Well, since getting them I've worn no other shoes, they're that comfortable! They are wonderful -- the sole is firm without a lot of flex or bending -- which is the kind you need if you have plantar fasciitis as it puts less strain on the tendons of the feet. The insole is just cushiony enough and molds to your foot. There are no seams or rough spots in the shoe that would cause blisters if you decide to wear them without socks. Plus the strap works well if you need to make sure they stay on your feet. If you have similar problems with your feet, give these a chance. I also want to note that I had to go a full size up as they seem on the small side. I also got the "Braidy" color which is black with an iridescent overlay. It's pretty and more interesting than plain black without being overly gaudy. Also, Zappos was amazing with my exchange for a new size -- can never complain about their amazing service.

These are the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned. I have been a nurse for 14 years, and I have tried many popular brands, but this one is by far the best. I will not buy another brand of shoe for work again. The Alegria Seville is a head turner. I get a lot of complements on them and they go with any color. Love them!

I love these shoes.! I am on my feet 8 to 10 hours a day and my feet feel great. I have some plantar fascia issues and pain in great toe area. My feet are feeling better every day! I normally wear an 9.5 and I got these in a 10. They fit great.

These really are unbelievably comfortable! I have degenerative disc disease and sitting at my computer all day kills my neck. However, I also have plantar fasciitis in both feet, so standing at the stand-up computer my boss got me was killing my feet. I decided to get these and I am so glad! I can stand all day and my feet don't hurt at all, just a little tired, but no pain like before. And they aren't half bad looking either. With jeans and a bulky sweater they could be cute.

These are the most comfortable shoes I own. I had foot reconstruction, fused big toe, and these were the first comfortable shoes I could wear and still wear. The rocker heel helped so much because my toe didn't bend. They felt quite snug at first, I got a bigger size and they have loosened up considerably. But I wear them barefoot in the summer and with thin socks in the winter. The padding is so good I would wear them all day and for long walks. I take them traveling. They are more padded and more comfortable than my other Alegrias. The inside of the upper is very flexible and super soft, unlike my Danskos which are stiff and hard (and were too rough and unyielding after surgery). And unlike my Danskos, I never feel unstable like I might fall off and twist my ankle. I got the sparkly black ones and I wear them with everything.

These are the best shoes I have worn in a while. I experience metatarsal head pain and plantar fasciitis on and off, depending on shoe choice, and when I wear these I am pain free. I work as a massage therapist, so am on my feet for long stretches and am thrilled to find a shoe this comfy that also looks cute. I've had many compliments. These shoes leave my orthotics and Danskos in he dust. I am a 9-91/2 medium width with very high arches, so many clogs rub the top of my arch, these are perfect in a 40.

I was looking for shoes I could wear socks with rather than just my New Balance with orthotics in the winter. After reading many reviews, I settled on the 39 Wide in the Seville. They came today and they worked great with my socks. I am an 8 without socks and an 8.5 with. In the other European sized shoes I wear, the 39 is the 8 and 8.5, so I decided to try it and go against the size stated here. They were right, though these were wide enough for my bunion, unlike my Naots and my Finn Comforts. So I'm very happy I found these. Now I can wear socks and cute shoes in the winter. I don't know if I can wear the styles that don't come in Wide. But I have found a couple of styles here on Zappos in Wide.

Naot (narrower but with great arch support) Finn Comfort (also great arch support) New Balance

These shoes are incredibly comfortable! I have an occasional bout of plantar fasciitis so am always on the lookout for shoes with great arch support The Alegria Seville fit the bill! The first day I used the strap around my ankle, thinking I might have trouble wearing them as clogs since they have a higher platform than I'm accustomed to. After that first day I have worn them as clogs -- very easy to walk in and absolutely no stress on my feet or legs. Remarkable! I wear 8.5 to 9. They run a little small but not enough to require me to go up to the next size. They are a little clunky looking but so am I so they work for me! Great with long skirts and slacks. Very happy with this purchase and of course the customer service from Zappos is awesome! Thank you!

Fit, style, wear and craftsmanship are all very good. I wear an 8 medium and ordered accordingly. Right out of the box the shoes were a bit stiff and tight but they broke in within a few days. I've worn them every day for 3 months. These are more comfortable than Dansko's because they are well built but lightweight. Plus the cork and gel insoles have formed to my feet and are very comfortable. Plus the insoles can be replaced. They are not sloppy so I haven't had to use the additional heel strap. By the way I have a form of arthritis called spondylitis which causes chronic plantar fasciitis. These are shoes I can wear and walk in everyday more comfortably than most.

These will be my fall/winter shoes. I haven't worn them that much yet since I live in Arizona and it is still very hot here. I wear a 9 1/2 so the 40 fits me perfectly. I wore them in the house and they seem to be very comfortable so I think I'll be very happy with these.

Ah, bliss! I have been wearing Birkenstocks for the last few years. After a return of tendon pain, I knew that I needed to get back to a clog that would raise my heel. I tried my old Danskos, but alas, after a bit of weight gain :( and wearing the Birks, my feet had spread. So, I began the hunt for new shoes. I tried Sanita in a larger size, but the instep was too tight. (Incentive to lose weight). After reading the reviews for Alegria, and with the easy return policy of Zappos, I ordered a 40 M and 40 W, not knowing how this wide toe box would work with my foot. I have a high instep, medium wide foot and wear a 9-9.5. The instep on the 40M was very tight. The width felt snug. However, the 40W instep is just a bit snug, the width is plentiful. I expect that the instep will loosen up as I wear wear the clogs. The arch support is just what I need for my back. The cushioning is fabulous. I prefer shoes with leather insoles so that my feet can breathe. The cushioned suede in this shoe is a delight. The shape of the sole propels your stride forward, which makes less stress on the heel. I have high hopes on this shoe, that it will help me get back on my feet again. As for style, I have been wearing clogs daily for almost 15 years. Even with formal wear, business, to weddings. What matters is comfort when you have a disabled spine. Looks are secondary. When my feet aren't happy, I'm not happy!

These are comfortable and very cute! My favorite style in Seville. I ordered the Chevron pattern in a 39M and it fits perfectly. (My regular size is 8½). If I had ordered the comparable 38, it would have been too short. These are great shoe for being on your feet long hours and they look great with jeans! The only negative is that I wish Alegria offered lighter weight supportive clogs! I wear other brands, too, and prefer the lighter-weight ones and most are not as pricy.

Amazing shoes! Okay, I wear a 8.5 - 9 regular. I ordered size 39, 9 - 9.5. Perfect, slightly snug around the foot, but after a week that snugness loosens up to perfection. Best worn with thin socks, until loosened. Amazing for walking, no pressure on your feet, calves, knees or anywhere. They propel your step. They're like slippers when walking around, you actually forget you're wearing shoes! I'm ordering more pairs, hopefully they have sandals for summer time! Best shoe owned! Nurses, these are better than Dansko shoes!

These are the best shoes ever. I have arthritis in my feet and every shoe I tried was still so hard after walking awhile in them and my joints in front part of foot would be hurting. In these shoes at end of day I realize my feet haven't been hurting so I want to wear til I go to bed. I have hammer toe problem also. I will be getting another pair.

First of all Alegria shoes are awesome, although some don't fit my feet right. But the Seville's fit "just right." You can wear them as a clog or put the strap back and have them keep your feet in the shoe (if you have that problem). I wear a 7.5 shoes size, but in the Euro scale, I buy a 38. Alegria shoes wear well and I have had no problems with them. Zappos is the best! I will always buy them there.

This is the MOST comfortable shoe I've ever worn. I am on my feet for 8-10 hours a day, sometimes more, and my feet never hurt after wearing these. I also love that they are slip-resistant; I work in an animal hospital and it is imperative that my shoes give me plenty of traction. They are also very easy to clean. My only complaint about this shoe is that...well...it's not really the most attractive shoe. I had one person tell me they were "downright ugly!" However, I'm am more then willing to trade cute over comfortable and safe any day!
