I have terrible lower back pain with 3 hemorrhaged discs and an annular tear. These shoes are about the only shoes I can wear that give me some relief. They are totally worth the money. I have worn the same pair almost every day for the past 3 years and they are just now beginning to show signs of wear - and I am rough on shoes. Get past your vanity and your frugality and buy these shoes if you have back pain.

I kept these in my favorites debating on them for so long - don't you do the same! I ordered down one euro size based on the recommendation of the sweetest customer service support tech and I couldn't be happier. I held off wearing them to work fearing a breaking in period, so I wore them shopping all Saturday. They were excellent, no discomfort whatsoever. I was actually on this site this morning to pick out some other styles!

I was really excited to receive these shoes until I opened the package and noticed they have they patent leather "coating." Unfortunately, I'm going to have to return them for a soft leather outer shell shoe. I had a pair of the patent shoes in the past and they started to crack within a week of wearing them. My soft leather ones on the other hand, have survived a beating! Still the most comfy shoes I own. As a nurse I'm on my feet for long periods of time. I've tried Nike, Crocs, Brooks, Danskos, you name it. Alergria is the best out there!

I love these shoes. So comfortable and just darn cute. Plus I get lots of compliments. A true reflection of who I am!

These are great. They are so comfortable. My sales job keeps me on my feet and these keep me going. I love the charcoal color.

These shoes are amazing!! I am a nurse and these are my first pair of Alegrias. I love them just like everyone else I know. I know many nurses that have multiple pairs of Alegrias and now I know why :)

Great shoes. Put them on and they felt so good I didn't want to take them off. I have wide feet and normally when I get a pair of new shoes there is a break in period when they are too tight and hurt. Not these. They felt great from the first. Since I received these shoes I have worn them everyday to work. I thought they might be a little clunky, but I have received compliments on how "cute" they are (have the black pair and everyone likes the button closure). I would recommend these shoes.

I purchased these shoe today and loved the color and they are so comfortable. I usually wear Dansko but I definitely will be buying another pair of these. I love the comfort and the way they mold to my feet.

I ordered this pair for a friend and was very surprised when the shoes that arrived were not what I had ordered, but were a silver snake skin pattern. It was particularly ironic, as she is terrified of snakes. However, we both work at a school (that is where I had them delivered) and she received so many compliments on them from both students and staff that she kept them and even ordered more (in different colors/patterns).

Best, most comfortable shoes I have ever had! I can walk without back pain for the first time in years! I am the proud owner of two pairs!

My Palomas were waiting for me when I arrived home from work yesterday. I opened the box and gazed at the adorable Pewter Charmer style! I am a teacher who is on my feet for most of the day. I was looking for a cute shoe that also provided comfort. These shoes fit the bill perfectly. I wore them all day today. My feet felt amazing! I didn't want to take them off! Usually shoes that are billed as "comfort shoes" are not very stylish. I received compliments on these shoes from people of all ages throughout the day. The shoes looked great with my jeans, as it was "Dress Down Friday." I can also see them working with dress slacks or skirts. Very versatile! So glad I made this purchase.

These may possibly be the coolest shoes I have owned and that is saying alot since I've been a shoe junkie for most of 50 plus years. Comfy, kind to my bunion and bad arches and high on the coolness vector. yeash!

I wear a 10-10.5 and got the 41 in these. They fit well with a thin or thick sock and without socks. They go well with a lot of different pants. I have really enjoyed them. Of course people love the owls. And, as usual, Zappos is AWESOME in customer service!!

I love these shoes. They are very comfortable, true to size and I love the cute buckle. I'm going to this brand of shoe now as it is most like the old Earth shoes used to be.

Awesome shoes! Super cute and extremely comfortable. As someone with mobility issues, function is important to me. I walk with more ease and stablity in these shoes than in any other comparable brand. They live up to their claims and are worth the price. I get tons of compliments on them too. The nurse at my doctor's office tried them on today and didn't want to give them back to me. She had been wearing Dansko's and said these were far more comfortable. Velcro strap is secure and easy on my hands. Now, I just have to decide which color to get next!

As a confessed shoealochic and zappos addict I have way to many pairs of shoes . These are my new faves. The arch support is great. The toe box is a bit clown like,but I've got two pairs now both with wild patterns that hide that. The Velcro strap will not stay as tight as I would like, but I have tiny feet. I get many compliments on these, some from men! Bottom line is I don't want to take them off at the end of the day. A great shoe.

I had to return these shoes because the space between the vamp and insole is not deep enough to accommodate my feet. I have high arches and a high instep. These shoes cut into the skin above my big toe. If you have more shallow feet, I think these would be comfortable.

Just got these and absolutely love them! I have plantar fasciitis as well as very flat feet, so oftentimes a shoe with good arch support will aggravate the situation rather than help it. I have tried other brands to no avail. Only shoes which offer the relief and support I need are Birkenstocks. I have tons of them, but with snowy weather ahead I thought I would try once again to find something with closed heel and toe. I happened upon Alegrias and decided to give them a try, despite my doubts they would work for me. When they arrived yesterday I slipped them on and was surprised at how comfortable they are..no pain in arches or cramping of my foot! (Even with Birkenstocks, I need to break them in slowly to allow cork footbed to conform to my feet). These are surprisingly comfy right out of the box. I assume they will only improve with prolonged wear, as they also have cork in footbed. I ordered the Pewter Charmer and think they are just adorable. I have a well worn pair of silver Birkenstocks that I just love, and these give the same feel, but perfect for colder weather. I think they will be adorable with capris and bare feet in the warmer months, as well. I LOVE the funky colors and prints available, and forsee ordering a few more pair in the near future. I have already ordered a pair of the embossed short boots, and am excited to try them. If you have plantar fasciitis, these are definitely worth a try!

I am a very young 70 year old who looks for both great looks and comfort. The Alegria Paloma shoe is absolutely wonderful. It is so comfortable - could walk all day in it! And fun!

I went in search of an orthopedic type shoe to help my arthritic feet and bad back. I have not had good luck with shoes for quite a few years. This year has been a challenge due to the upper arch on my feet. No strap or top of the shoe will go across in length and if it does, it causes me great pain. Enter Alegria Paloma! I read all the wonderful reviews about this shoe, especially in awe about the support features. I purchased my first pair and will never buy any other brand for as long as I live! This is finally the brand I've needed for such a long time. I will promise you support, comfort, and style. Very hard to find all three in one shoe. I LOVE the look and feel. I have to stop and tell everyone where I got my shoes and what brand they are. I have to keep them in tip top condition, so many people are now looking at my feet! LOL...

These are seriously the most comfortable shoes ever! I love the colors and can wear them out of the box and be comfortable all day. Buy them, you won't be sorry.

I have severe plantar fasciitis and searched everywhere for a shoe that feels like this. Even my custom orthodics don't compare. They have great arch support while also providing a cushioned insole, so they are soft AND supportive. I need to buy more as I wear these everyday and I'm afraid they are going to wear out too fast! They are holding up well and the blue bubbles works with every color. I get compliments everyday, everywhere. I almost didn't buy them because of the price; they are not cheap. But I figured with Zappos, if I didn't like them I could just send them back. No need! They are worth every penny plus some. I wear a 6.5 and bought the 36. Fits like a glove!

Was looking for new shoes and started by looking at Danskos and ended up getting these. They are so comfortable and I get a lot of compliments. I bought these and the Dayna - love them both. Trying to decide which one to get in one of the fun "colors".
