Great shoes. Loads of compliments. I love the Paloma's. This is my third pair. It does take awhile to break them in. I love Dansko too, but these are so much lighter.

I just received my first pair of Alegria shoes. The Paloma style fits my feet and the comfort is delightful. Although this is my first pair, it definitely will not be the last. Alegria shoes are perfect for running errands and meeting friends for brunch.

These shoes are excellent for plantar fasciitis. They also have excellent stabilizing on the bottom and sides so if you roll your foot in or out these shoes basically won't let you do that. I have a wide foot with a high instep and these work for me - not many shoes do. I also wear the basic tenny from New Balance but these are more dressy with pants. (I hate tennies but I have to wear them now.) The only issue I have is the bottom of these shoes are a bit slippery for the winter, and for some reason my second pair are squeaky a bit from the leather rubbing with the insoles.

The most comfortable shoe ever. Great in wet weather and I always get compliments on how cute these are. I love the extra inches in height. It is a little squeaky - not the sole, just the shoe itself.

Love these shoes! Need to break in, but so cute and sturdy. Did i say cute? The silver button and butterfly. Just wish they were less expensive.

These shoes are unbelievably comfortable. They look a bit goofy, but it's worth it to me. I bought my usual size 9/40 and the fit is great, true to size. I've been wearing them for 5 hours with no socks and no pain.

This shoe has very good arch supports. Fun colors for spring. Mary Jane style stays on your feet. If you like Dansko, will like these. Should wear same size. I wear 36 in these and Dansko.

Finally! A shoe that is both cute and comfortable. I have a mild bunion and bunionette and the regular width was just a hair too narrow to accommodate them both. Exchanged for the wide and am super pleased. Only wish more wide options in the fun designs were available via Zappos. As always, big ups to Zappos for being so patient with my incessant returns/exchanges.

I just received the 6 in exchange for my usual size, the 5.5. The 5.5 even with a naked foot was too short. Oh, how I wanted to make this shoe work. It's so cute! But the 6 even with my thickest wool sock was too big. Only the strap held it in place well enough to walk in it. So disappointed.

I love my Mary Janes from Alegria! I have had them for more than a year (possibly 2 years?) and I haven't had the problem with the sole splitting. It's unfortunate that is happening to some customers, as they are cute and comfortable. I get compliments on mine that are a black glitter (when they had glitter and other jazzed up shoes), and people are surprised that they look like ordinary black until they take a second look. They came large (I ordered a nine and I am an 8.5), but are still comfortable, and are an excellent winter/ early spring shoe for CA weather, both Northern and Southern. My complaints: they came large, and because they are leather have stretched out, and also the hook and loop strap curled up on me. That's a common problem with hook & loop closures.

This shoe is even cuter in person than online. I think I'm a true 5.5 which I wear in the classic but with NO sock and after trimming my toenails to the quick, this was just too short. I'm crossing my fingers that a 6 will work since it has a strap. I have very narrow feet. Alegria is the thing for comfort!

These shoes are amazing! They are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I actually feel more energetic when I wear them. Great work shoes when you're on your feet a lot. I have less foot pain and less leg fatigue at the end of the day. I highly recommend!

I LOVE these shoes. I wish they came in 1/2 sizes. I wear a 7 1/2 usually but ordered the 8 and just need to be sure my socks are fairly heavy. I am a school counselor and these are so comfortable I feel like I am wearing my slippers but with a bit more support! Love them! I gave them a 4 in style only because they are bulkier than I am used to.

These shoes are not only beautiful, but they are so comfortable. They have wonderful support! I could not be happier!

Love these shoes! they are cute and a little funky. the velcro closure seems extra strong. I was concerned about this. I have had velcro closure shoes before that did not hold up. The big buttons are a nice touch. They seem very comfortable out of the box. I have struggled in the past with plantar fascists and am always on a quest for shoes that feel good to wear. So far, so good!

This shoe fit comfortably immediately. Good arch support. Wide toe box. A very nice shoe. I get lots of compliments.

Amazing shoe. I work 12hr shifts. I have had numerous tennis shoes. I was still getting back aches. Tired legs. And my feet in the morning. Were sore and achy. Since I started wearing this shoe. None of these problems exist. In fact I am wearing for outings and know need to purchase another pair. Because nothing compares to them. I am in my 50's. Recommend even for younger groups.To save from feet or back problems possible down the road. By the way. Price wise. They are long lasting. And you can get new inner soles. And the shoe will keep going.

I ordered this show because I am on my feet all day on cement. I have bad knees too. The fact that ordering was so simple and all of the help and guarantees' that are there to help you made it an easy process, no worries. I ordered just before Christmas and they arrived in two day, on Christmas eve! Nice surprise! I love them. My knees haven't hurt since I got them. I will be getting another pair in another color! I have a slightly wide foot and these fit perfect for me!

I like these shoes, it did take about a week for my feet to adjust. I have narrow painful feet and these did fit true to size. I wear a 9 and a 39 fit great. Your heel will lift slightly. My heel on the bottom still is a little sore but I am able to walk in the morning without limping. I work 12 hour days standing so overall these are great.

I have this style in 2 different patterns and love them. They are very comfortable. They have a roomy toe box and arch support. I really wish they came in half sizes but they only come in whole sizes.

I wear a 10 and these 41s are nicely roomy, just right for a wool sock. Very comfortable shoe. Great, cushion from that thick sole. These are shoes you could wear all day. Be forewarned, the soles are not good on snowy surfaces. They have zero traction.

These shoes are very comfortable and when my foot begins to swell I am able to adjust the strap to be more comfortable. At first the strap was a little hard and rubbed my foot but it has softened with a few wearings. The arch support is excellent.

This was my fourth Alegria purchase. I have plantar fasciitis and these shoes have been fantastic; comfortable right out of the box, even for a 12 hour shift on my feet. I do not have to switch my orthotics from shoe to shoe anymore. Check out all the fun colors in the Paloma style! Even though I got these shoes for work, I also wear them for special occasions.

I really like these shoes. I have 2 pair in different colors and they are very comfortable. I can wear them all day and my feet don't hurt!

I saw someone with a pair of these on and absolutely thought they were adorable (the style was wine embossed rose). I did some researching and discovered there are so many (almost too many) cure designs of this same show. I finally decided on the black glitter patent for myself and bought on Zappos. These are my first Alegrias so I was unsure what to expect but I knew if I had a sizing or fit issue, Zappos was the way to go w/returns. I also wanted these babies soon. I ordered them on a Thusday morning and they were at my house after work on Friday. Surprisingly they aren't heavy. There's a removable insert that forms to the foot after a few wearings. On my first day, one part of my top rubbed against the shoes (despite wearing socks) and I was a little worried. However, I have not had a problem since. The finish has stayed shiny and doesn't scuff easily and the glitter is subtle. I wear these with socks mostly since it is the winter now but they could be worn without. One silly thing I like is the way these sound on hard floors. I have now asked for several other styles of the Paloma for Christmas so hopefully Santa is good to me this year!
