I have had some type of Merrell sport shoe every summer for years. Everything from barefoot shoes to ones I could wear through wet conditions (my trip to Costa Rica). These haven't disappointed me yet though the price was a bit off-putting and I really had to consider whether to keep them. If they are as durable as all the others, then I know I have made the right decision. Comfortable - Yes. Arch support - great. Toe box - no squishing of my abused little toe. Insole - removable and can be scrubbed when necessary. Unlike some other reviewers I have experienced no rubbing on my heel or ankles so I'm lucky there. My feet are pretty average in width but do swell up in the summer humidity so the adjustable strap is a must for me. At my time of purchase the colors seemed a bit dark so I got the aluminum color for summer. So far, so good!

First time ordering these shoes. I love them! Very comfortable and true to fit! I love Zappos, have ordered 2 pairs of shoes and one pair of boots and they all are great products! I'm hooked on Zappos and will always get my shoes and boots from them!

Quite a few have commented that the heel came up uncomfortably high and rubbed blisters. If you like the shoe, there is an easy solution. The fabric edging on top of the heel is easy to soften up by rubbing hand lotion into it liberally and then crushing the heel when you step into the shoe. Do this and wear socks the first couple times you wear the shoe and that's all it takes to break in the heel.

I have tried several shoes looking for a comfortable shoe that is not a sneaker. I love these Merrell's! The side felt a little high under my outside ankle bone initially and I worried that may not work, but after just 2 hours wearing them in the house, they feel great! I am anxious to wear them on my travels to Italy in a few weeks.

Great shoes. Live up to Merrell standards. These have a rounded toe which was very important since I was recovering from a broken toe. Very comportable and great style. I was able to add my arch supports for total comfort. Used for travel.

My gorgeous Merrell Mimosa Emme shoes are perfect. Casual yet dressy, they'll enhance any outfit, from skirts and dresses to shorts or pants. I am thrilled with my purchase.

These are classy sport shoes. They are extremely comfortable, go to shoes for nearly any casual activity. I ordered the olive color a year ago and have worn them nearly daily. They are still not worn out. I just ordered the aluminum color and will continue to enjoy these great shoes. They provide lots of comfort and I receive lots of compliments.

I love Merrell's. This shoe in particular is very wearable with any outfit. I've received many compliments each time I wear them. I also like the coloration.

This is an amazing shoe for me and my problem feet! I live in the heart of a major city so I'm walking constantly to restaurants to meet friends -- to market -- to a variety of stores -- and to walk my 100 lb dog several times a day. I need padding and stability and comfort and flexibility in a shoe, as well as more attractiveness than a typical running shoe. Not all Merrells work on my feet, sometimes being too narrow or stiffly abrasive on my feet. I've just ordered my 2nd pair and though it appears that the shoe is extraordinarily well made and will be long lasting, I may order an additional duplicate set of shoes in brown and black so as to never be without these incredible shoes. I highly recommend this particular shoe for walking about most anywhere.

I love all Merrell shoes and wear them exclusively since a friend told me about them. I love this shoe, but one thing. Since the toes are so rounded, I had to buy a larger size. The strap over the front helps take up some of the slack but the heel is a little high, so I got a heel orthotic which helps.

Love the shoes! I have two pairs! Great everyday shoe! Love Zappos even more!

I don't wear flat shoes very often but these were very comfortable and fit well from the first try on. I wanted to replace some worn out clogs I always wear, so chose these Merrells. I think they will be a good replacement.

I had hesitations about paying so much for a shoe, but have decided that they are worth every penny. I purchased them specifically for walking on cobblestones in Amsterdam. Even with flat feet and bunions, these shoes withstood the test. I am happy to say, without any breaking in, I had no blisters and no complaints. The Velcro straps mean you can adjust as your foot expands throughout the day. Excellent shoes!

This is the perfect shoe for someone over 80. They are easy to put on but don't look too old lady.

This is a terrific pair of shoes. They go great with shorts, jeans or a skirt. Very comfortable but a little short in the toe. I'm certain they'll stretch out the more I wear them.

I agonized about ordering these shoes as they do not indicate that they accommodate custom orthotics, and the Merrell online support said they did not! However, the shoes arrived today, and they are GREAT! Light weight, comfortable with my orthotics, and will still enable me to wear socks when it gets cooler. They also have the ankle support that I need as well.

I was planning a trip within a few days of ordering these shoes, and Zappos was super fast in getting them to me. They have great costumer service.

I miss the older Merrell style with the more rounded toebeds, but this is far better than the summer replacement for those old Mary Janes. I am wearing this one, but I am holding on to my old, and very reliable Merrells.

Ordered 8 pairs of shoes to find one that might fit. I have a second toe that is longer than the first and this was Cinderella slipper that fit! Have worn one entire day and no rubs anywhere. Merrell did it again!

I got the olive color and I thought they looked nice in the photo, but they look even better 'for real'. I got them to wear on vacation as I have a heel problem and Merrell is the only shoe that works for me. Now, I'm debating which other color I want. They are really great shoes and the fit was wonderful.

No real arch support. The seemed wide or the top strap was too long. My foot seemed to fit too low in the heel. I have bought many pairs of Merrells over the years and this was the first time I was disappointed in the fit. I loved the look of the shoe.

I tried 5 pair of similar shoes before I chose these to take to Europe. I haven't yet gone but I've been wearing these on long walks to prepare and am really happy with the fit, support and comfort of my new Merrells. They look cute both with and without socks too.

I forgot to mention in my former review, that the fabric is too high on the ankle area. With each step, the shoe rubs at the ankles which is irritating, and may give blisters in long run.

This is a nice, cute Mary Jane. I ordered my size (10) and they fit. Yes, the ankles rubbed but you just work them a bit until they soften up. They are soft if you have any foot problems and need more stability, don't get these. Still, a well-made shoe but must return as I need more support. Your own inserts do fit, by the way.

This shoe is not the most attractive MJ I've ever worn, and the suede detail on the toe box is unevenly stitched - this could be just a fashion variance that's intentional, but the difference in stitching between the two shoes is noticable and looks like a mistake on the left one. As far as wearability, these are very comfortable. I wore them around Disneyland for two days with no ill side effects. They slip a little when I first put them on, but it doesn't affect the comfort or performance of the shoe once I'm wearing them. Probably won't buy another pair of these but they did what I bought them for: comfort and style (to a degree).
