This is a comfortable shoe and true to size. I have a somewhat narrow foot so it is slightly wide for my foot. It also comes up high on my ankle and rubs a bit. I plan to get insoles to help it fit more snug. I do like it overall.

This is my second pair of Merrells and I love them! They fit true to size for me, average support, and average width. It took me about a week to break in my first pair of Merrells but when you do these are the perfect shoes for being on your feet. Great for an active vacation shoe.

Love the looks of these shoes. Unfortunately, the left shoe, for whatever reason, gives me a heel blister.

Loved these shoes when I opened the box, they are super cute. Unfortunately they are also super uncomfortable. The sides and back of the shoe are very high and the sides actually hit and rubbed my ankle bone with every step. I've never had that issue before, so it's definitely due to the way these shoes are designed. Overwise the shoes were true to marked size and width. I'm sadly returning them.

I ordered this shoe is the Cocoa color. The picture makes it look like the shoe is two or three different colors. I found it to be mostly all brown with very slight green accents. More like a sneaker insole rather than an athletic insole. Not what I was looking for! I ordered the lace-up version, and the coloring and insole were same as in the Velcro version. Cute but not enough arch support for me.

I was hoping these could replace a pair of Rykas that are no longer available. I like the mary jane style, but the rim around the back is too high and hits my ankle bone. The strap is too long and drags on the ground. There is not as much support as in other Merrells that I own. I'm sorry I kept them.

Should have listened to other reviews...rubs your ankle terribly. Sad...so cute, had to go back.

Good looking shoe but it rubs right up on the ankle so it is uncomfortable.

The shoes have a design flaw in that the ouside back is too high and hits your ankle bone. I am sending them back as I know it would only lead to blisters. I really like the soles.

Disappointed. Fit great, looked super cute, but like many others commented here, stitching on back of heel rubs against heel and is painful!

These shoes are pretty enough (if your standards are low because you have foot issues) to wear with skirts or capris and comfortable enough to wear walking all day. They fit my orthotics (designed to fit in most Merrells) well. As other reviewers have noted, the sides at the heel are very high -- high enough to hit my ankle bone. I almost returned the shoes because I thought I wouldn't be able to wear them because of this issue, but I was desperate and I kept them. Each time I put them on I worried again about the banging on my ankle bones, and each time I stopped noticing it within a few minutes. I wore these shoes every day during a month of extensive tourism and found them perfect for that purpose. I highly recommend them.

I ordered, Merrell Mimosa Emme and a pair of Teva Omnium sandals. The nice thing about the Merrell shoes was, that they were cut closer to the foot and did not create the duck feet that you have in the Teva peers. The Merrell shoes look a bit more solid and heavier on the picture as they are, as I wanted to use them for hiking, I opted for the Teva shoes, that felt a bit more robust. The Merrell would make a nice shoe to wear elsewhere in summer and are easier to take on and off.

Love these shoes. I do love Merrell shoes - and these are no exception. I needed a good pair of comfy shoes for a vacation - these are light, comfy and feel like they will be great for lots of walking. I mean - they are still sneakers - so can't really give them more than 4 stars for style.

This is my second pair. The first pair actually are still going strong, but look a little worn on the top (soles are still like new) because I wore them while working in the yard. I bought this 2nd pair for an upcoming trip to Europe. I can walk all day in these without any discomfort.

I love these shoes. They are comfortable and have good support. However, I was at a loss as to what size to order. I went with the 9 which is what I usually wear and they were too big. In my opinion, they run large.

I've worn the Mimosa in the lace-up style and they were a good fit with my smart feet inserts. These didn't fit the same at all, without the insert they were too big and with the insert too small. I tried other kinds of inserts but overall they were not a good fit. Bummer because I like the Mary Jane look.

These are my second pair of Merrells. I wore the first pair for years and they were my most comfy shoe and went well with jeans and nice slacks. They no longer make the original style I bought, but I found these and they are just as well-constructed and look just as nice on my feet. I wear an 8 1/2 m and they fit perfectly. I really like them. And, kudos to Zappos, too. Free shipping and they arrived the 2nd day after I ordered them!

I loved these shoes. I really liked the look and style. I've been looking for some walking shoes that looked cute for vacation. They fit perfectly except the sides hit the middle of my ankle bones and hurt even with socks. This is not the fault of the shoe, but my weird ankles. I've had this problem before with different brands. I'm sadly having to return them. I'm giving them a high rating because they ARE very nice shoes.

Although comfortable, I made these more so by switching out the insoles with ones with more support. However, I rather dislike my color choice - dusty olive.

These shoes are fantastic! I bought them in both brown and olive because I needed good summer walking shoes. I use Super Feet insoles in them and they feel so great and comfortable. I can walk for miles over anything but true mountainous terrain that I would need boots for. My feet never get sore.

I love these shoes. I bought them for a vacation that required a lot of walking. No break in required. My feet felt great and loved the support.

I really like these Merrell shoes. They go with lots of outfits and therefore are very versatile. I like the black sole and side walls. Many shoes like this have white bottoms which I think makes them look too casual.

I have this Merrell MJ in 'Aluminum', and wore it all last summer and throughout a 2.5 week tour of Turkey last fall. I can wear it barefoot or with thin socks. Thanks to the adjustable velcro strap, I can tighten or loosen the fit as needed, especially when my feet swell on hotter days. This style has the comfort and support of a sneaker, but looks stylish enough to wear with pants, capris, or a skirt. I like Merrell's Q-form insole for wearing this shoe barefoot (breathable, doesn't retain odor), but I have a somewhat high arch, and this shoe doesn't give me enough arch support. To fix that issue, I placed a 3/4-length arch support underneath the Merrell insole and ta-da! I can wear them for 10-12 hrs comfortably, whether standing at work or walking over uneven ground at Ephesus and Troy. I loved my 'Aluminum'-color ones so much I decided to get the darker 'Cocoa' color too. Note: All Merrells run a half-size 'small' in my estimation; I normally wear a 7.5 in shoes I wear barefooted in the summertime, but all my 'summer' Merrell shoes are a size 8 (and a size 8.5 for winter shoes when I wear socks).

Extremely comfortable and great looking, exactly what I wanted for an upscale walking shoe. Expected quality and truly sized.
