These are cute shoes that run true to size, and offer good support. But, if you have prominent ankle bones, these will rub you the wrong way. Back they go!

The shoes have a design flaw in that the ouside back is too high and hits your ankle bone. I am sending them back as I know it would only lead to blisters. I really like the soles.

These shoes are comfortable, lightweight, and very supportive. I love that they are sporty and easy to put on and go, but also feminine looking.

These shoes are very comfortable. They look nice - a bit dressier than normal shoes like this. I like the blue stitch detailing. The only caution is that on my feet anyway (and I do not have big ankles), the sides at the back of the shoes rub a bit right below the ankle. That has not caused a problem, and I am hoping that goes away once they are more broken in.

I looked at these on advice of a friend and compared them with other similar MJ style travel/walking shoes. These fit very well and have an extremely comfortable footbed. My only complaint is that the sides are a little high in front of the heel so they rub slightly on the bottom of my ankle bones. The style is fine for this type of shoe - not too rugged looking but sturdy for walking.

Very comfortable and will be great for my job (I have to do a lot of walking). I can see how they wouldn't be for everyone though, because I do feel it pressing up against the bottom of my ankle. But I've been wearing them around the house for an hour or so and it's not painful for me, so I'm keeping them. Hopefully that's something that can be improved upon though (especially considering the price) because I can definitely see myself ordering them again in the future.

Brown is the new black! I will always give Merrell shoes a solid look and I own several pairs. As an aging baby boomer however I sometimes find Merrell too narrow. Not this pair! The Mimosa Emme, whatever that is, is terrifically comfortable, and very stylish for both city and country living and of a lasting quality. They are wonderful. My only decision now will be whether to wear my new brown Jambu shoes or my new brown Merrells from Zappos. Oh, and by the way, us baby boomers expect great customer service and we get it from Zappos. Thanks!

Loved these - lightweight and really comfortable. I wore them around France and didn't have any issues. Highly recommend them.

Took these shoes to South Africa, they held up great, very comfortable. I also wear them to work. Good purchase.

Very comfy. The rear side walls do come up higher than normal for a shoe but I have had no problems with them rubbing me.

I usually wear a 9. Toes touch at the end with the left shoe, but I think it will be okay once I wear them for a day or two. Cute, comfortable styles. Wish the insole was removable like some other brands. Would like to add a tiny bit more arch support under the insole. A cute, comfortable keeper for light walking anyway.

I love these shoes! I'm a realtor, so I need shoes that are comfortablem provide good grip on slippery surfaces, and are easy to take off and on. These work perfect in all respects. They're comfortable, cute and super easy to take off and on with the velcro straps.

As usual with all my Merrell shoes these fit perfectly. I like the color and the style is cute.

Love these shoes! I bought them to walk around France and they were great right out the box and lightweight and stylish. Small spot from rubbing right under big toe but nothing a Bandaid didn't solve quickly!

I love these shoes. They are sturdy and comfortable like my Merrell hikers, but these are lighter and more breathable. I can wear them all day without socks, and have no rubbing or irritation as other reviewers have mentioned. Great for trips to the farmer's market or a walk in the park, and I've even worn them to work. The olive color with hints of purple goes with most of my wardrobe, but I'm tempted to get a second pair in another color. Highly recommended!

I really liked this shoe. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I liked the Merrell "barefoot" a bit better. This shoe seems to offer a bit more support than the barefoot, which some people prefer. Overall, great shoe for running errands - dressier than a running shoe and great with yoga pants, etc. I wear these every weekend!

Disappointed. Fit great, looked super cute, but like many others commented here, stitching on back of heel rubs against heel and is painful!

Another great shoe from Merrell! These shoes were comfortable right out of the box! Feels like a tennis shoe but looks dressier. Zappos rocks in terms of web site & service. How many sites have you been on that also let you see your shoe on a real person! Thanks Zappos for a job well done!

Love the looks of these shoes. Unfortunately, the left shoe, for whatever reason, gives me a heel blister.

This is a cute shoe and I am usually a Merrell fan. However, it cut into my ankle even after trying it with an orthotic. I am returning and have already ordered my trusty Circuit MJ.

Very pleased with these. They seem to be true to size, and, as is typical with Merrell, they're very comfortable. In other words, they're exactly what I expected. And of course--after all, this is Zappos we're talking about-- they were delivered in a flash.

This is a comfortable shoe and true to size. I have a somewhat narrow foot so it is slightly wide for my foot. It also comes up high on my ankle and rubs a bit. I plan to get insoles to help it fit more snug. I do like it overall.

Loved these shoes when I opened the box, they are super cute. Unfortunately they are also super uncomfortable. The sides and back of the shoe are very high and the sides actually hit and rubbed my ankle bone with every step. I've never had that issue before, so it's definitely due to the way these shoes are designed. Overwise the shoes were true to marked size and width. I'm sadly returning them.

This is my second pair of Merrells and I love them! They fit true to size for me, average support, and average width. It took me about a week to break in my first pair of Merrells but when you do these are the perfect shoes for being on your feet. Great for an active vacation shoe.

I like these shoes pretty well so far. Only thing I'm not sure about is whether the top of the shoe along the sides will be rubbing my foot. Otherwise, it's good. The strap is comfortable, there's room enough for the toes, and good cushioning under your feet.
