I have foot drop and was looking for something easy to walk in - at first they made blisters on my heels but after than I really enjoyed them that is until it rained! I found these shoes to be dangerously slippery and would not recommend wearing them in wet conditions.

Disappointed in this shoe--the tongue was too long, stiff and jabbed my leg while walking. The fabric upper was plastic-y and unappealing. I needed a winter shoe for jogging, so I was very let down. Returned them. I own 2 pairs of Pace Glove and love them, but they are mesh and unsuitable for outdoor jogging in winter.

I was very excited about these shoes. Within a few minutes of jogging around the house in them to try them out, they had rubbed both of my heels raw. The neck of the heel of the shoe is much too stiff. They were also a bit tight around the arch. I'm sure it all depends on your foot structure, but these were not for me.

I was looking for a pair of shoes I could wear after knee surgery and was very pleased to find these Merrells. Very comfortable for narrow feet and supportive enough without the bulk. Allows me to walk like I'm bare foot but with enough protection to handle rocky paths and gravelly pavement. Now I wear them every day at work too since the color is dark enough to work for office wear. I get lots of compliments on the fun colors and pattern.

These shoes are fantastic! I bought them for an eight day trip out to Yellowstone and other points of interest that required a lot of walking and these shoes were up to the challenge! I purchased half a size larger as these shoes are meant to be worn without socks. The half size larger allowed me to wear thin socks for the colder climate. My feet were never tired and these shoes did not have to be broken in. As I am over 65 and am really particular about how my shoes fit, I cannot say enough kudos for these shoes. I am a big fan of Merrell and they did not let me down! Thanks, Merrell, for another pair of great fitting, comfortable shoes! Also thanks to Zappos for quick shipping and having a good selection (with reviews) to choose from!

Love, love, love! I have been wearing my Vibram Five Fingers for nearly a year now. I was going to bring those on my trip to Scotland but felt that given it was springtime over there (read: cold and rainy), they may not be ideal. I wanted to stick with a barefoot shoe though and found the Merrells. I was a bit worried with some saying they had issues with breaking them in, but they fit perfectly from the get-go. I've walked miles and miles in these shoes in the past 3 weeks with zero issues whatsoever. I also love the blue/gray color scheme, so it was a great purchase all around.

I am so happy I tried these shoes! I have had a sever tarsel tunnel syndrome in my right arch for the last 5 years, which kept me from running and even walking, because of the pain. I thought I would never be able to active like I used to be again. After I tried these shoes and wore them walking for a few hours every day for one week, I could feel my feet change to accommodate the different gait. I had hardly any pain left and then I added running again and after another two weeks of running three times per week and walking 5 times per week my foot pain is completely gone! I love them. I don't want to take them off anymore. Give these a try, you will not regret it!

These shoes are light, flexible, with plenty of room in the toes but are not too wide at the heel. They're extremely comfortable. Since I got them, dust has been gathering on my other shoes. I'll definitely buy more colors.

I love these shoes, however, I will try the half size smaller. I am a bit worried that the heel may be a little short. I will wait for the half size smaller.

Ordered my Barefoot Lithe Glove shoes yesterday and received them today! I did order 1/2 size larger than my normal size and it fits correctly, as I do not want my toes to come anywhere near the end of the shoe. I have a very narrow foot and I am able to get a really great narrow fit with this shoe. "Thanks" to the people who commented about removing the cardboard piece that is located in the shoes upon arrival...I probably would have been one of those people to just put the shoes on and wear them out the door...cardboard and all. I am a little worried about the comments regarding the shoes not working well on wet surfaces, as I am a kayaker and this will be a problem...time will tell.

Have these. Love them. Wear them without socks. Really. Snug, but that's how they are supposed to be and they feel great! How can I give ten stars for style, please? I have the hot pink and orange ones, too, "Cosmo Pink."

I bought these as running shoes because running in my Free Runs made my calves feel like they were going to blow out. These shoes have solved that problem. The back of the shoe took forever to break in, but I know these running shoes will last me a lot longer than most shoes. Great for people who have super flat feet!

There is only one thing I didn't like about these, and that's that the pictures make them look like they're white with silver accents and various shades of orange. The brightness was one of the things that attracted me to them in the first place. Just a note, but the "white" is more of an off-white, greyish putty color. It's not enough to put me off, but it's not exactly how I pictured them. I imagine it's how a shoe with white trim would look after a month of wearing. Like I said, it's not terrible, and they'd probably look that way anyway after a month, but it was a tiny disappointment.

I originally purchased this shoe to have something lightweight for aerobic exercise class. This has become my go to shoe. I'm drawn to purple tops when shopping to have more things to coordinate with this shoe. I wear it to work, shopping, hanging out -- it's an incredible shoe. The support is perfect and the look is spectacular! It's not a tennis shoe/sneaker, it's a barefoot glove -- wear it barefoot for maximum comfort.

Absolutely love these. My favorite trail shoe. I've hiked, jogged and walked on all terrains in these. A dream on dirt trails. They have helped me strengthen my lower legs and feet. I have a narrow foot and normally wear a 10 in running shoes for the length. Read the reviews and ordered a 9.5 and they fit perfectly. Look great, too. Make my feet look much smaller. Only drawback. After wearing these, I find normal running shoes heavy and bulky.

My first pair of "barefoot" shoes. I love them! They work great for boot camp fitness.

Love these lightweight shoes for aerobics and Zumba class. They are comfy and stylish at the same time. I will definitely buy another pair just for the color variety.

I bought these as a second choice to the Kalso Earth Prosper, which I can't find at Zappos! Love Kalso Earth as a rule. So, I tried these Merrells as they look similar to the Prosper. I'm loving them! Caveat, is that I have always preferred walking in my barefeet than wearing shoes. For those of you wanting a cushy step - these are not for you. Urban barefoot dwellers should rejoice and try a pair!

I love the look of this shoe and it feels a lot more snug than the pace gloves I currently own. But I wish it had the same elastic heel as the pace glove. I put these on and immediately felt a bump right at the bottom of my Achilles heel. I took five steps in them and felt uncomfortable in the heel. I see from the reviews I'm not on my own. Love the look and design of the shoe, would love it if Merrell changed the heel design - fingers crossed!

I have tried several of the Merrell Barefoot shoes... have yet to keep one, having trouble with fit. These fit great but I really dislike the "water resistant" fabric. They are hot... wore them around the house for a couple of hours and my feet got really uncomfortable. Like wearing a rubber shoe.... Epic fail again sigh

I absolutely love the way this shoe looks...the colors and design are beautiful. However, the first pair I ordered squeaked horribly (left shoe), so I returned them and ordered another pair because I really wanted them to work out, and they squeaked, too (both left and right). Very unfortunate. Not trying anymore.

I might have purchased this shoe. It feels really good to have that "zero drop" feel. However, I have very weak arches and am prone to pronation and rolling towards the inside. While the "zero drop" style is good in theory for many people, I don't understand why the designers of "zero drop" shoes haven't yet accommodated the wearer that is a flat-footed pronator. Vibram Five Fingers, for example, with their very thin sole, are fine for that type of person (and I love mine), but once you elevate that same foot off the ground with a thicker sole, still designed on the VFF-type last, the pronator is now prone to ankle stress and ankle twisting, because the foot now pronates not only off of itself, but also off of the platform of the shoe’s sole. Hopefully the designers will rethink this engineering design. I think the Altra Zero-Drop shoe design (not sold on Zappos) is on the right track. Now, if they only made shoes for hiking…

The design looks good in the photo, but the actual fit is not quite comfortable. The heel feels lower than the toe box. Will be returning it.

I love this shoe. Great to run in on any terrain, great looking. I wear a true 5 and my toe is right at the top which felt a little weird at first but now I love it.
