What I like best about these is they work we’ll both indoors and out. Comfortable and safe for even very light yard work.

Loved everything about these, however in my thick wool socks they were way to wide and I stepped out of them. Not safe for me but if you have wider feet, they will be perfect.

These are the same size as my old ones but the fit is really sloppy. I have been wearing extra thick socks and that helps.

I bought these to replace a pair I have had for years that got a hole. These do not fit snug. Still a great pair of comfy slip on shoes.

Love this brand! Shoes are always good quality, with good arch and foot support. These run large, and after wearing them a few times, even larger.

So sad about the sizing of these. I am typically a very reliable 7.5 US womens, but the 38 was far too big an the 37 was too small. A 37.5 would be perfect but of course they do not come in half sizes.

I wanted to like these because they had good arch support and had cork bottoms but the instep was a bit too tight for my high arched feet. They were quite warm and cozy, too.

First time ordering these and I wasn't sure what size to get based on the reviews. I wear a 40 regular in danskos so I ordered both the 39s and 40s. The 40's fit perfectly. These felt just a touch wide, so I'm curious to see how the wool holds up long term. For now, seems like comfortable arch support for my flat feet.

The inside of the shoe does not have an insole and is quite hard, so don't expect any give or cushion. But I usually go barefoot in the house in warmer weather so that's fine for me. I use these as slippers in the house on wood floors and the sole has good traction. I wear a 9 1/2 and the 40 fit perfectly; I wear them with midweight cotton or wool socks.

I love these classic halfinger slippers. I have plantar fascitis and wear these in the house with my orthotics. I have to go 1 size up because of my orthotics and find they are otherwise true to size. I prefer the cork traditional over the rubber soled slippers as I just find them to provide more support like a shoe with the ease of a slipper. I will say that the boiled wool they use is not the dense quality they used to use say 10 years ago, which would last several years. Now I choose to replace every year due to daily wear and this durability issue. However, the price has not changed much in many years and it is still a very comfortable and reliable house slipper.

I have loved the look of these for years but thought they were a little too pricey for a slipper. Due to upcoming foot surgery I splurged and got them in lavender-I would call it more of deep purple but either way the color is awesome. They do fit a little on the large side, but I believe they are suppose to be worn with socks. I usually wear a 7 M, ordered them in 37. My guess is that they are sized generously because they are technically a slipper and not a shoe. Sturdy enough to wear out and about but they do not fit exactly the way a shoe would. Great for around the house all purpose footwear though.

A timeless classic. Perfect for winter slippers in cold climates. Runs large though.

These slippers had a good arch support, which was the main reason I chose them. However, I didn't like the way they felt when I walked. It was too much effort to keep them on my feet so I returned them.

I love these shoes and have worn them for years..that being said I order the SAME size as I already have and they are HUGE!!!!! I hate to return items but I must with the cost and sizing!!

As a huge Haflinger fan, I'm disappointed that they've changed the configuration of these clogs. I've been buying the grizzly for years, but this latest model is much wider then previous pairs. The shoe simply isn't as "snug" as it used to be.

On a friend's recommendation, I ordered a pair of these shoes for around the house. She and all the women in her family wear them and swear by them. My first impression wasn't great. The wool is a little rough, so I find them more comfortable with a sock. I have a narrow foot, so they are a little wide. Walking around is fine but stairs were a bit more of a challenge. I started to think for the price, these may not be the shoe for me. But, then something happened and I started to love how they felt on my feet. They're warm, which is nice as my feet are always cold. But, not so warm that my feet are sweating. Most importantly, they're unbelievably comfortable. I get why the reviews are so positive. So, despite a bumpy start, I'm keeping them.

My old pair of Halinger shoes wore out after 10 years of wear. They are so comfortable and warm, I ordered another pair in the same size. Yes, they are the same size, but they are quite wide. Wider than my old pair. But I loved the old pair so much, that I put these on and have been wearing them. They are true to length, and warm and give great support, but a tad 'floppy' due to the width. But I'm keeping them. Did the older ones come a bit narrower? I don't know. I'm not one to wear socks with wool clogs, but with socks, these 'are' perfect. My feet are not narrow, but a medium width. My theory is these are made to also fit men so they are wider. If you have an old pair you are replacing, you may find the same issue in width.

I was hoping these would fit but they were way too wide for my narrow foot.

This is comfortable the size 6 was, ie 37 was way to large. I have a narrow foot and this was just so large. I also was not too thrilled with the look of the shoe.

Very comfortable with a lot of support.

I was so disappointed these didn't work out for me - years ago (20+ years ago!) I had a pair and they were wonderful. Fit my feet, lasted forever. This time I ordered a size up to account for the changes in my feet over the years, but it was instantly clear that they weren't going to work. Way too wide, but one of my toes still hits the front, so I know that a smaller size will not work for me. Sorry to have to return them, because I love the support of the cork footbed. Will see if maybe Naot has something similar that I can use as slippers as they make a variety of lasts, including for narrower feet. Did I mention Zappos delivered these to my doorstep WITHIN 24 hours of placing my order? How do they do that!? Fantastic, thank you, Zappos!

Such good quality and natural materials. I like that. The fit was spot on and my regular size fits. Wide enough to accommodate my bunions.But the footbed is just too hard and actually hurt the soles of my feet at times. I tried them indoors for several days, thinking maybe the footbeds would soften, but they never did. Sadly I will return them.

So I've had these for 2 1/2 year now. Both my wife and I bought a pair, and while we had to return for different sizes, the final pairs fit perfect AND yes, they will stretch out a bit which is key when you think they maybe are just a little too snug with socks on. We wear them almost always with socks since we transition immediately out of street shoes into these without fail. Postive: They are so comfortable. They are very very good at supporting the arch and actually feel almost better then going barefoot in the house or even sitting. They are essentially boiled wool so they are very warm but I still where them in the summer since you can't been the comfort and support, especially since we have wooden floors. They look good. It's the nordic look for sure. They have nice cork bottoms so they really provide cushion for your feet. Negative: Well after two years they really started to fail. As people noted, they began to tear away at the seams (the wool separated from the cork) and the wool started to get holes on the top where the toes are. The cord also cracked. I would advise buying cork preserver and applying in regularly to your shoes to keep the cork from drying out in the winter and cracking. So after 2 1/2 years they are acceptable for walking around the house but look terrible. As they are expensive, it's a shame to have to replace them soon but I must say I wear them every day inside and can't do without them.
