I needed a slipper that has good support and this one definitely does. It fits my foot like a glove and isn't too cushy, just a great supportive foot bed. I ordered one size larger than normal after reading other reviews which was good advice. The top across my foot it a bit tight but not so much that it is uncomfortable plus they stay on my feet better. Not the cutest but that is not a factor for me.

I love my Haflinger slipper. They are the most comfortable slipper I have ever owned. They are a little pricey but worth the money.

I purchased my first pair from my physical therapist and have loved them ever since. The arch support is excellent for a slipper and the fit is just right on my narrowish feet. I like the hardsole because I do not have to change my shoes to run the dog out the back door. They last forever. I only had to replace them due to a chewing incident with my dog. I highly recommend them. I usually wear a 10B so I think they run pretty true to size.

These are my favorite things to wear on my feet, period. They are so warm and comfortable, they provide great arch support and are hard soled to go outside. I wish that I could wear them everywhere! I get a 41 for size 10 feet. It seems like folks have had a hard time with Haflinger sizing lately, running big, but found these same as my last pair. They are a tiny bit snug when first on but stretch and mold to your foot in about an hour.

Extremely comfy slippers. Decent support, but not a super high arch. Very non-skid sole. The wool footbed feels wonderful with bare feet. The sizing is EXACT, bordering on a half size small. With bare feet, they were true to size, but with anything thicker than paper-thin cycling socks, they were a bit tight and I couldn't slide my foot all the way in without using both hands to stretch the shoe over the front of my foot like a latex glove. I only wore them for 10 minutes, and it's very likely they would stretch out a bit after being worn a little while, since my previous boiled wool slippers did stretch out (quite a bit!) over their 7 year lifespan. I decided to send these back and keep the Geisswein Veitsch slippers which I ordered in the same order. The Geisswein's have a higher arch, which my foot prefers. Also, the insole is removeable in the Geissweins, so you can even replace it with your own orthotic insole if necessary. On these Haflingers, the insole is not removeable. But the entire slippers are machine washable, which is a great feature. If I were wanting a pair of spring/summer/fall slippers to wear with bare feet, I'd keep these Haflingers, because they feel really, really nice, and they are definitely very well made and feel quite sturdy. If you plan to wear them with socks, especially thick socks, you need to follow the sizing chart very carefully and measure your foot with a sock on. You will probably end up needing a slightly bigger size than you might have thought. I normally wear a 44, but would need a 45 in these in order to wear them with socks.

I love these and am not sure how I went so many years without slippers. Very comfortable and warm, with enough traction to step outside if you need to. They arrived feeling slightly tight but have broken in nicely.

I live in Minnesota and wear my slippers everywhere I go, in every season. Indoors and outdoors, these slippers rock! The hard sole is great in winter and on ice, and while wearing a comfy wool sock, they keep your feet nice and warm. I've had mine for about a year, and wear them all the time, yet they're still in perfect condition. For the guy (or gal) who likes a comfortable style, I highly recommend. I'm asking for a second pair for Christmas!

Best slipper ever! Only type I've ever owned for last 20+ years. Runs a little small; buy 1/2 size larger. Wish I had them on now!

My all time favorite slipper, great arch support. Even thought I have a narrow foot with a high arch it fits fantastic! I wear these 365 day a year.

These are great slippers and are replacing a pair I completely wore out. Very soft inside and a solid sole for stability. I'll be back in a couple of years for pair 3.

These are expensive but they are the best pair of slippers that I have owned for year round wear! I have had sore heels and feet for a while, and these are great slippers (they feel like shoes). Some days I work from home and need some support, so I rely on a good pair of slippers. One of the best things is that they are not too hot or too cold! Many of this style are way too hot to wear in summer.

Ordering 3rd pair. Daughter gave me first pair for Christmas one year. Wear constantly, so heel gets somewhat hard. They do stretch, but still ordered by reg size.

I absolutely LOVE these slippers. This is my second pair of the exact same slipper. They are so comfortable.

Best slippers I have ever owned. Only slippers I know of with some support. The wool feels really cozy or cool, keeping foot temperature constant. Great shoes for around the house or running out to the mailbox due to the hard soles. Can't say enough good about these slippers!

Very comfortable even in the summer. My sore heels are much better. I did order a half size larger than I usually wear after reading the reviews.

These are the most comfortable slippers I have ever owned. It took a good week of daily wear (with socks) until the wool upper relaxed but now they're just right. Get the full size larger.

I have worn wool slippers for years, all of which have developed a hole in the big toe area. This is something I have come to expected from this type of shoe. I like the fact that these slippers have a hard sole which provide better arch support, and can be worn outside. I am a size 8.5 and first ordered a size 9 which was way too small. I exchanged them for a size 10 which fit well.

Truly excellent in almost every possible way, and soooo helpful for joint problems! Years ago I developed heel pain from going barefoot, and it went away completely when I started wearing these slippers. Over time my feet began to swell, though, so I switched to cheap, flat slippers. After years of that, one knee pretty much blew out and has stayed that way for over a year. I tried at least 20 kinds of slippers to see if that would help the knee heal with no luck. I finally decided to try these again, even though they're really a tight fit, because I remembered that they do stretch out some after about 6 months. They are awesome. Nearly perfect. Flexible enough to move with my foot's motion, and I never walk out of them accidentally. The soles are also non-skid enough but not too much, so that I don't twist my knee accidentally by my leg moving in one direction while the slipper grips the floor too tightly. There's plenty of cushioning, making it the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn...and my knee is improving at long last. It's also warm without being hot. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is that it's for a medium foot, not a wide or swollen foot, but this is a great slipper. The toes do tend to wear out over time, but for me it's well worth it!

I have bought Haflinger Hardsole Slippers for many years now. Seems like the pair I just ordered didn't have much of an arch support and was not quite the same as before.

These ran small for my elderly mother looking for a good slipper with some support. She's usually a solid 7.5. We ordered both the 7 and the 8. Even the 8 felt short and narrow on her. These had to go back.

Unfortunately the left skipper is larger than the right!

Fit perfect! Customer service top notch!

The fit was good - I wear a 10.5 but bought size 11. I have a high arch and although the slipper was initially a bit snug across the top of the foot, it feels great now.
