I love these hard sole slippers. I've owned them for 10 months now, and a hole is now worn through above my big toe on the left slipper. I do wear these heavily indoors and outdoors. For the price, I would have liked for them to last longer, but I still wear them in spite of the small hole, and will likely purchase a new pair soon.

I have flat feet and needed a slipper with arch support. The Vionic slippers had a higher arch but were too hard on my feet. These were much more comfortable. I normally wear a 7.5 EE shoe. I bought these in a 7, and they fit well with socks. I would need a smaller size if wearing barefoot.

THe last pair of Haflinger slippers purchased was a size 11. They had a cork sole and were worn for so long that the decorative trim began to fall apart. Ordered a size 11 again, but this time the slippers were too small and the cork sole style was not available. Sent back and, hopefully, the size 12 replacement will fit properly.

I really like these with the rubber non slip sole. The felted uppers are thinner than my previous pair and this is my only critique. If they were a bit thicker and more rigid, they would likely last longer. These seem like they will be good for some time, but my toe might poke through the top eventually. Very comfortable, very warm.

They have a great look. I like that they’re wooly, different than my Sorel furry insides. So wanted to love these but my feet kept sliding a bit toward the outer side. Not sure it it’s because the material to sole needs to be created differently or if the size of the arch pushes the foot out. They would be ok if you just want cute warm slippers to not do much walking with, but since I work at home I need more stability as I sometimes wear slippers for a long time in day.

I love Haflinger slippers and have worn them for decades. This was the first time I got one with soles and am so very happy to have them. Even though they are a bit big they fit fine with winter socks, which is fine with me. I think I'll look into some clogs for outdoor wear too.

I am in search of the perfect indoor slipper for me. The Haflinger soft sole slipper would be the perfect answer, except that a pair only lasts me a few months before the dots that prevent slipping wear off. I live in a house with hardwood floors and the mule slippers slide a bit so maybe there's more than normal friction. Also, my big toes poke through the wool after about the same amount of time. This version has a stiffer sole, but the result is that they slip even more and the wool will also not last so I'm returning them, as they are even more expensive than the soft-sole version. I would comment that the blue color is an appealing twead if this is of interest to someone reading.

I thought I would be getting a similar house shoe/slipper to the more expensive, cork-soled pair. I have had those, and they were comfortable and wore well. Saving $40+ was an appeal in buying this version. However, the wool top isn't as dense and firm as the more expensive pair, nor does the inside sole look like it will wear as well. They are not the same but without the cork sole.

About to order my 3rd pair of these slippers - I tried the Haflinger GZ Classic Grizzly and the step is a bit too square feeling when I put my heel down. My 2nd pair were purchased in Nov 2017 and are in great shape, but the rubber on the bottom seems to be flaking or peeling off??? Orthopedic issues make it tough to walk in the house barefooted, so I'll just have to spring for these every couple years.

I have been wearing the Haflinger AS Classic slipper for almost a year. I wanted to order another pair, as these have developed a hole. Unfortunately, this slipper is not currently available in my size. And so I decided to try this hard sole style. Although these slippers are similar in appearance, the fit was not the same for me. Most notably, there is a high ridge in the back of the AT Classic Hardsole slipper that cut into my heel. For this reason, I had to return these. I have submitted a request to be notified when the AS Classic style becomes available again in my size.

I bought these slippers because of the rubber sole. I have wood floors in my house and was concerned about slipping with the classic model. They are very comfortable, though a bit on the heavy side. Arch support and width are fine, but I ended up with the size 40 men's/women's model. In the classic model, size 39 fit. My one complaint is that the rubber leaves scuff marks on the floor. They are easily wiped up and seem to becoming less frequent with wearing. I have also taken them out on cement to wear them in a bit.

My favorite slipper. Replaced old pair. Comfortable and durable. But seems not as sturdy; fabric seems thinner.

Had to return size 43 for a 44, which fit perfectly. This slipper - the third pair I've owned over the last 15 years - is unlike anything else on the market: just the right combination of warmth and breathability with a decent (though not overly high) arch that you typically don't find in slippers and a reasonably durable rubber sole. You can actually walk around as well as stand on them comfortably for long periods. I wear them 10 months a year. I knocked them down 1 star overall because they aren't as durable or long lasting as I would like - the stitching will start coming apart and the padding in the sole will flatten out with regular wear in a couple of years though they will remain usable for another couple of years...

Out of the box they tight around top of foot. I felt after a few minutes they starting to stretch. I then used a shoe stretcher to work the band. After 10 min they were just right. My first try with this brand. Very comfortable. Much nicer than my sheep skin sweat slippers. The hard sole looks more substantial which I can see why some would be disapppinted with. They are soft and the arch and foot bed is well constructed but its not a shoe, its still a slipper. That said they do what they were designed to do. I suppose one can buy a shoe if they want more support. I’m not expecting to wear a hole in the toe as my nail does not even touch the wool. Some people have longer nails then others. The toe box is generous. I. Have fairly normal sized foot. I don’t have any foot pain and I just wanted a nice comfortable slipper that I can let the dog out with, get the paper, go down to the basement with more support than a base unsoled slipper. Nice warm slipper that breathes. Since brand new, I can’t comment to durability. Quality construction and materials make this slipper expensive but its fairly priced.

I rarely write reviews but I saw this slipper pop up on my screen and had to comment. My daughter bought this for me last year and I've been happy, for the most part, with the slipper! The comfort was amazing at first! The material forms itself to your foot after a while and the "cush" is not as "cushy" as it was at first but still super comfortable. I live in these all day long as I work from home. As a result of the constant usage there is one other drawback..the area at the toe of the shoe where my big toe hits has worn through on both slippers. If I had long toe nails I might expect this but I don't. This happened within a few months of getting the shoes. Zappo's wonderful customer service sent me another pair at no charge. However, and sad to say the same thing has happened to the new slippers that they sent. I still use them daily (hole and all) but wouldn't buy another pair.

These run very small for Haflinger’s. Definitely order a size up. If you’ve ever worn Haflinger shoes, you probably know that they tend to run wide & big across the top of the shoe. I have a pair of Hafs in size 39 (I wear 9.5 US) because they fit better than 40 which are usually too big, albeit somewhat short. I also have a pair of Hafs, size 40, and must wear the thickest socks I own or they fall off my feet. These slippers are very flat-soled and I thought a 40 would be best even if they were a big. I was very surprised that my heel just fit inside the 40 shoe without socks and my foot felt cramped. I exchanged them for a size 41 (normally for size 10+ on most charts) and found they fit a lot better. They are also short, even in the 41, my heel almost didn’t fit. I know they will loosen so hopefully in long run they will be fine. I have extremely cold feet and they sweat a lot & become clammy (TMI - sorry). Boiled wool is the most recommended material to help keep feet warm & dry. I hope they work for me.

I have worn regular Haflingers for 15 years. I bought this style for occasional outdoor wear. Many reviews said that this sliiper runs small, so I ordered my regular size - 7 - and the 8. The 7 was too small and the 8 was too large! Wish they came in half sizes. Also, the regular Haflingers have great arch support and these seemed to have little or none. Very disappointing!

I have been wearing regular Haflingers for 15 years. Love them - especially the arch support. Bought these for occasional outdoor wear. As many reviews mentioned, they run small, so I ordered a 7 (my regualr size) and an 8. The 7 is too small and the 8 is too large! Wish there were half sizes. These are very comfortable. I usually wear a 37 but got 38 also and kept the 38 since the 37 was snug. The seam along the middle of the foot on top hits my right foot, so it's not as comfortable as it could be but arch support is great. These are practical, definitely not stylish. My teenagers pointed at them and said "what are those?!" but comfort is top on my list for slippers. I also like that the sole is durable enough for quick trip to the street if needed.

I love these. Great arch support, but they do get holes about 4 months where the big toe is. I bought 2 in size 37 and they really stretch out, so this time I went with 36.

I've had these house shoes for a couple of weeks, and, so far, I like them quite well because: 1) they provide some arch support, 2) are warm but not hot, and 3) are generally very comfortable. The only thing that I would mark off for is that, for my particular foot, the last isn't a perfect match, which seems to be a rather common reaction from other wearers. So, based on reviews, I tried both the size 37 and the 38. The 37 (which is my usual size) is a tiny bit snug in length and arch height on one of my feet. (Although, with a little wearing both those things eased up, they're still snug enough that I will have to stick with a thin sock instead of my nice thick boot socks when it gets colder out.) Still, I prefer the fit of the 37 to the 38, which is large enough to feel floppy. The arch support is modest, to be sure, but it's better than what I've found in traditional slippers, which is none at all. Also, a final point, to my eye, these house shoes look a wee bit more "shoe-ish" rather than slipperish, which lends them a more "ready to receive guests" air. I'd definitely recommend giving them a whirl.
