I love these slippers! They are warm without making your feet sweat. I wear them as often as I can, and they are far more comfortable than my athletic shoes.

These are the slippers that I have been searching for! After trying slippers from many different retailers, I have found the perfect combination of durability and comfort! They were snug when I first put them on but as my feet warmed up the wool expanded just enough to loosen them where I needed them to be.

I ordered 3 slippers (these, Spenco and Orthaheel Gemma)looking for the best arch support as I suffer from plantar fascitis. I wear Orthaheel flip flops all the time but cold weather sent me looking for something to keep my feet warm. I will also note that even in Orthaheel I need the shoes with "aggressive" arch support. The Tide flip flop is great. Even the standard Orthaheel inserts aren't enough support to keep my foot super happy. These slippers and the Spencos were fine if a moderate arch is all you need. Before my foot problems I bought the Ugg moccasin slipper which I LOVED. All these slippers provided more support than the Ugg. Style wise I would have picked these but the Orthaheel won out. The fluffiness inside masks some of the hardness I usually find on my flip flops but from side view of these slippers I can see the arch is excellent. Style....like all Orthaheel I find they will not win any high fashion awards. I have an average width foot...maybe a little narrow if anything and they felt secure. That said the top part of the Gemma is big in appearance. I normally wear 7 1/2-8. I ordered the 8's in these and the Spencos and 7 as my normal size in Orthaheel. All fit fine.

These are my go-to house shoes in chilly N. Michigan winters. I've also discovered they make great gifts! I love that you can run outside with the rubber soles. They are very comfortable. They mold to your feet, and work well for folks with wide feet.

Great slippers. They're easy to put on and take off, but still feel secure when they're on. They're nice and warm, but the wool still wicks away moisture effectively. The footbed breaks in to conform to your foot fairly fast, over a few days. It's got a sturdy sole for quick jaunts outside, but it's not too heavy. Definitely recommend.

Feels warm and cozy. As others said about the Haflinger with hard sole, I needed one size larger than usual to fit properly, so got 44 rather than 43. This works.

I always need to wear something on my feet, so in the colder weather, I am always looking for warm slippers. I now need the constant arch support and that is not easy to find in slippers. Well these do the job! They are warm, provide great arch support and are comfortable! I wear an 8 normally, so as others mentioned, I ordered a 40.

I love these. I heeded other comments and ordered my usual European size and one larger. The larger was the better fit. They are warm without making my feet sweat, and the hard soles are good for quick outside stuff, like running to the mail box. Pricey, but I think that I will have these for a lot of years.

This house slips are extremely comfortable. They are form fitting and don't feel like they will stretch out like less expensive slippers. They are also very warm (I wear them without socks). The rubber sole is nice for when I step outside to let our dog out in our fenced yard. I would highly recommend these for yourself or a gift. They are an item you don't need to worry about returning.

Love them! I have a narrow foot and they fit my foot and provide adequate support and comfort. I look forward to putting them on everyday!

These are excellent slippers! I was looking for slippers with a little arch support and these are perfect. They seem to well made and with the hard sole I can wear them outside if needed. I wear a women's 9.5/10 so I ordered a 10 and they fit good but a tad bit loose. I like my slippers tight fitting though. I think anything smaller might be too tight. I decided to keep them.

I wanted a slipper that has good arch support. Haflinger AT Classic Hardsole has good arch support. I took a chance they would fit because I usually wear a wide and these don't come in wide. I need the wide for my lovely bunions on both feet. This slipper has a wide toe box, so my bunions are happy. I wear a 7.5 or 8 wide in shoes and I ordered the size 39.

I was sick of buying cheap slippers made of synthetics that made my feet sweat and fell apart after one winter's use. Well I hope these are worth the cost. So far so good - they are warm and well made! They should last a long time! I have always trusted good old wool to be perfect, so we will see! No half sizes, so I went up a size and they are a good fit!

I really like these slippers. They do run about one size smaller compared to my old cork-soled Haflinger slippers. I also wish Haflinger could come up with a sole compound that would not streak hardwood floors! The streaks are a snap to remove but it would be nice to not have to. Zaps did a great job -- I got the first pair in just one day, returned them for size the same day and received the replacement the next day. Bravo!

Yeah, believe what others have written -- these slippers are super-comfortable out of the box, and even with socks, and yes, you have to buy them 1/2 size up; i.e, you wear 8.5? order a 9. Not exactly stylish, but seriously, are you looking to be a fashionista when your feet are cold?

These slippers are, hands down, the most versatile and comfortable slippers ever! They have arch support, are warm when it's cold but not hot when it's warm. They can be worn outside and if the lawn irrigation sprinkles them there's no problem. And, they look nice and will conform to the width of your feet.

My husband kept them on right out of the box. With all tile floors and being seniors, supportive shoes and slippers are important and these seem to work great.

The most comfortable pare of slippers I have owned. Takes a little while to get used to the wool, but that is the nature of wool. have not had them long, so we will see how they last. Definitely costly!

The bad news is that my previous pair of these only lasted 20 years. The good news is that Haflinger continues to make them exactly as they did before and I can continue to enjoy the comfort and durability for another 20. See you in 2035!

These are the most comfortable shoes ever! I wear them every day. These shoes actually have good foot support inside even though they don't look like it. Zappos got them to me immediately.

I followed the advice of other reviews and ordered a 37 even though I am always a 36 (and wear a size US6). They are too big - too long, too wide in the toe, too wide in the heel. Going back for a 36...

These boiled wool slippers have been a great gift for my wife. With her neuropathy and foot pain, she enjoys the are support and the warmth. The pair I wear are now nearing 15 years old and are still the go-to footwear around the house for me.

The minute I put these on, the idea hit that they were made "just for me"! The length is good, width adequate and good support with a small heel; rubber for stability underneath. Love 'em. Usually I am 8.5 W, and I ordered a 40 since some reviews suggested running small...normally I would take a 39. The 40 fits well.

I finally found a pair of slippers that work for me. They are very comfortable and my feet don't sweat. Absolutely worth it.

Admittedly I'm no slipper aficionado so I don't have a lot of comparisons in mind. Before my purchase, I researched some other online reviews before deciding on the Haflingers. I've found these slippers to be excellent. Certainly pricey but you're paying up for quality. For the initial couple of wears, I recommend wearing low to medium thickness socks since the part that wraps around the top of your foot can be a little snug with big thick winter socks.
