Because of heel pain, I need slippers with good arch support. These are wonderful. I can't bear to walk around without them. I agree that the boiled wool gets matted, but I am so happy with the comfort that I don't care.

OMG... they are So comfortable that I walked out of my house Christmas Eve and did last minute shopping...not a sole noticed that I was in my bedroom shoes...they look so much like regular clogs. My sister-in-law tuned me into these 3 weeks ago and I just cannot express how much I love them. They are the most comfortable ones I've ever had. They are the warmest...easiest to slip into. I even had my best friend to order some..she ordered a different style.

I am between sizes, so I ended up ordering up so that I wouldn't risk stretching the fabric too much. Not sure that I could fit thick socks in these, but I shouldn't have to because they are SO WARM! Very supportive, and I love that the soul is sturdy. They also don't put much as much dog hair and I thought, so they don't spread it around the apartment. Although expensive, I think they will last a long time and are a great investment.

My husband LOVES these slippers! He wears them every day and they are warm but don't make his feet hot. They are his "go to" house shoe! Worth every penny.

I have flat feet and have to be very careful about what footwear I wear, and can never stand being barefoot while working in the kitchen, doing housework, etc. I hate wearing shoes in the house and I have tried several different types of slippers that didn't give the support I need. I read so many good reviews of these I thought I'd give them a try. The first pair was a full size too short so I had to return them, but Zappos makes exchanges easier than anyone - so quick and easy, so not a big deal. The larger pair works - they have great arch support and are comfortable during long hours cooking and cleaning in the kitchen. Happy with my purchase.

Incredibly comfy and supportive - so much better for my plantar fasciitis than bare foot or in other slippers.

I've been wearing these slippers around the house for a few weeks and they have continued to get more comfortable over time, gradually conforming to my feet. I've been frequently wearing them with socks, which I would highly recommend - the sock + slipper friction effect helps the slippers stay on. I have narrow feet and these slippers are a bit on the wider side, so the socks help mitigate that as well. That said, in terms of length of footbed, it seems like they definitely run small so you might consider sizing up. I've also noticed some black scuff marks on the hardwood floors, which hasn't been a deal breaker for me but is something to consider when deciding between these and the soft sole version. I have enjoyed the hard soles overall - it's nice to be able to wear them out to get the mail or sweeping off the porch. Overall, I've enjoyed this pair very much and it seems like they will hold up well through the winter months.

I took my time reading reviews before deciding to order the Haflinger AT Classic Hardsole. Zappos' reviews were spot on. I normally wear a size 11 and, based on the survey results, I ordered a size 12 (45). The width was fine and the length, by ordering a size larger, was perfect. The hardsole allows me to step outside when necessary. I really prefer the "slide in" design. I usually end up crushing down the back heel enclosure, so this design eliminates that issue. The boiled wool is just enough to keep your feet toasty warm without causing them to sweat like most fleece lined slippers.

Best slipper ever, arch is perfect for me. Keeps my feet warm and comfortable on my hardwood floors! Will buy again if these wear out ????????????????????

I think these are the BEST slippers ever. I'm a woman with size 13 feet, md width, who has to wear orthotics for a fallen arch. So you can imagine how tough it is to find ANY shoe. I usually resort to buying Men's size 11-11.5 and the issues inherent to that...too wide, too bulky/heavy, too masculine. Especially slippers where all other styles are too sloppy. This slipper, while a bit expensive, has just the right amount of support and is slim in style and fit. It does stretch over time, but al I do is put big safety pins along the top seam to "take them in" and wear them until the soles begin to wear. I wear them all day long when I'm home and I don't seem to suffer without the orthotics. They're soft and warm and perfect. They're warm but not too...

These slippers are the BEST! They have support and are extremely comfortable. Because of the hard sole, they can be worn outside. I wear these Haflingers only.

Love these! Very comfortable thanks to the arch support. My only negative comment would be in the sizing - no half sizes. My normal size is a 5.5. I went with the 36 - my heel is right up against the back rim. I have tried the 37 but it was too sloppy. I think these will stretch out a little- so that will be good for me.

So comfortable for my sore feet. I never go barefoot at home anymore. Love the rubber sole so I can run to mailbox or on deck. I ordered a size bigger than my regular size 10 shoe because I remembered doing this with haflingers in past. These were still tight at first on top and then stretched out to correct fit. Great arch support - got these off a list of best options!

Arch support, baby. These cozy slipper are perfect if you adjust down a size - they stretch out with wear.

Classic quality and comfort from Haflinger, I moved to the hard sole version to control plantar fasciitis inflammation and it seems to help. Will definitely buy again.

I opted for the Haflinger AT Classic Hardsole this time. Usually I purchase the applique styles. Really like being able to let dogs out and walk in the dew on deck. Less dog hair attachment on these soles. Arch support, no sweaty feet. The applique style lasts about 2 years, not sure how long these will last.

Love these! I should have paid attention to other reviews they do stretch a little- I think I'd be happier wearing a slightly snigger slipper until it relaxed than wearing one that's a bit loose. It took about a week of wearing them an hour in the morning and up to 3 hours in the evening until they relaxed. Only felt a half size larger after a week of wear.

Great slippers. Smart looking, very comfortable and fit exactly just right. They offer pretty good insole support as well. Would buy them again for sure!

Perfect slippers. Best I have ever owned. Light weight but very warm and super comfortable. They feel slightly tight at first but after a couple of wears the fit is perfect. I bought my typical size and they are great. Outstanding quality.

Had the Haflinger AT Classics for about 2 weeks now they replaced some UGG Scuff Romeo 2's for pretty much the same price. Nice and comfortable and seem well made, not quite as decadent as the ultra plush uggs but we all know that plushness doesn't last forever. I suspect the Haflingers will stay comfy for longer and maybe outlast the UGG's which lasted a year before the soles split, time will tell. Size wise I went for the same size as the trainers I wear and found they were just a fraction tight initially but within a couple days breaking in they were perfect and have remained so. I would definitely recommend the Haflingers so far.

Great slipper and worth the cost. I wear slippers when in the house and they hold up well. The slippers seem to be true to size but do tend to stretch out a bit after a short period of time so keep that in mind.

I had to return the first pair because they were not true to size. They size small. A little snug at first but now they are quite comfortable. The chocolate brown is a great color. I have had them only a couple of weeks so time will tell if I order again.

Great house shoe with wonderful arch support. They are comfy, warm, and have great support. They are on my feet as soon as I get home from work and until I go to bed. Love them!

I have gotten these for my husband every few years for a long time. This time the sizing was smaller than before and we had to exchange up. The new ones a size bigger are just as wonderful as ever. Just watch the sizing if you are unsure - Go Big.

Great slipper shoe. Very comfortable to be able to wear around the house or step outside to let the dog out. Only con would be not very attractive or cute.
