I really enjoyed these slippers - comfortable, non-sweaty, just great. But after 11 months, they have a hole in one big toe and will soon have a hole on the other big toe. I feel like for this price they should have lasted for more than a year. This much per year seems like a lot to spend on slippers. I really like them, and I do wear them a lot, so am now debating whether I should get another pair.

Seemed large and the seam down the top of the slipper was uncomfortable for me.

the non slip bottom rubbed off and these are very slippery on hard wood and tile floors, dangerous for older people and a fall risk

The material is nice, but the seam on top is very uncomfortable.

My husbands get slid around and couldn’t keep them on his feet.

I wore these slippers for decades, and somehow the center seam never bothered me. Either something in the slipper has changed, or my feet have. Either way, that center seam is supremely annoying and uncomfortable. Returned.

Very comfortable but these run short--had to size up. That's the reason for 3 stars. I usually order 41 (Sz 10) and had to order 42 (Sz 11). Would have preferred to go up only a half size but not an option.

Disappointed that the seam down the middle of the slipper has a large, and uncomfortable seam allowance/ridge down the inside of the top of the slipper. You can it rubs annoyingly from the arch to the toes. I have had several pair of Haflinger sippers and been totally satisfied - even the ones that had a seam that looked the same in pictures BUT the seam was flush with nothing to rub and hurt your foot.

I ordered these in November 2023. At the end of September 2024, 10 months laters, holes had developed in the toe area of both slippers. I had a previous pair that lasted years and years, until a dog got to them. SO maybe the quality is not as good as it used to be?

I have worn 3 pairs out over the last 20 years-My Fav Slippers ever. But these feel very different. The material is itchy especially at the seams. The inside seam coming up the front is irritating. They seem puffier and more itchy. Something has changed since these were manufactured in Germany long ago. Outsourced? Same design just not the same slipper. I tearfully return.

Fit, size, comfort are ok, fine. This pair is replacing the same slipper I got a year ago. I guess these are just disposable....kind of like what you would get at a spa. The sole came apart from the upper and I had to throw them away. I just thought they would last more than a year. I will look for another brand next time.

The fit of the slipper is wonderful. However, the little rubber flowers on the bottowm wear off pretty quickly and the slipper looses the ability to grip the floor.

Disappointed in how they wore - fell apart way too fast

I just retired my Haflinger Classics after nearly two years of use but they should have discarded after 15 months or so. They stretched out and didn't fit the foot securely and the soles started to detach from the uppers and became a trip hazard. I did find them incredibly comfortable and warm for at least the first year. I guess it isn't realistic to expect anything to last longer.

The top of the upper was a bit too high and it cut into my foot. This was true of both sizes and a change from the pair I was replacing.

the seam down the middle is very uncomfortable

I’ve purchased MANY pairs of this slipper. Sometime around 2017, the quality changed drastically, no longer support lasting as before. Purchasing @$79 was a stretch, but THESE ARE NOT WORTH $90.

This slipper was difficult to get on and off. The ridge at the heel just didn’t work for me.

I've had several pairs of Halfinger slippers over the years. They are comfortable and do have a bit more arch support than most slippers. These fit fine and run true to size, but I just didn't care for the seam that ran down the center of the slipper top. On the left slipper it wasn't even sewn centered. Not interested! :D

Seam down the middle of the front/top of shoe was sewn in the inside thus making the shoe very uncomfortable and therefore I returned these. Too bad because the fabric was soft and comfortable, the soles were great, the color was pretty. I truly wanted to keep these, my third pair of Haflinger slippers but first with this style. The interior large seam down the middle of the slipper was a determining no go for me.

I have worn these slippers for YEARS! They used to be sized perfectly, not sure what’s happened…??? I ordered a 41/10 as I have always ordered, but they are extremely SMALL. I sent the pair I ordered back, thinking it was a mistake, re-ordered, and the 2nd pair was again way to small! I’ll be sending back again, and ordering the size 42/11 in hopes that they actually fit! These have always been my favorite slippers and I’m so disappointed the sizing has changed. Order up if you decide to purchase!

It seems that they are too wide. My feet slip when I wear them. Other than that, I like them!

Nice slippers, but the suggested size 40, which is a little larger than my usual size 39 was too small.

I love this brand of slippers, but the sizing is very inconsistent. I’m a true size 6, and need a 37 in the hard soles ones. They say a 6 is a 37, bit on normal European conversions a 6 is a 36. The 37s fit perfectly. I ordered these in a 37 and they were huge so I exchanged them for a 36, which were perfect. I ordered another pair and the 36 was so tight I couldn’t get them on. I had to order the 37 instead. Luckily Zappos is great about exchanges and returns. Haflinger, get your sizing together!

I bought the same size as I wear in Birkenstock, 38EU. The Haflinger was too small. I returned them for a 39EU. I also decided to go to a style where there isn't a seam that can be felt on the inside of the slipper. I suppose I would have gotten used to it, but this way, I don't have to do that. I am very happy with Haflinger Hearts slipper. No seam, and the wool stretches to accommodate my wide foot with a bit of arch support.
