I found these boots uncomfortable and am returning them. There is a leather strip up the back which is inflexible and rubs against my ankles. Further, the faux fur falls out.

Although these boots are very comfortable and stylish they aren't as waterproof or warm as all the reviews state. I am a dog walker and I wore these boots one day in 35 degree weather with mild rain and by the end of my day my feet were freezing and damp. These boots would be fine for someone that isn't outdoors all day but for me they weren't up to par. I am returning them for the Snowlion instead. Hopefully those hold up.

The first season, the backs of each heel sagged, and the bunched up material blisters my heels if I walk far. The next season, the plastic by the toe cracked, so now they're not waterproof. Bummer.

These are for people who can't get Bean boots. The quality is no comparison, LLBean makes their boots in Maine and last a lifetime. These are cheap Chinese knock-offs. Put yourself on the wait list for Bean boots. I just got mine and promptly returned these to Zappos. Thanks Zappos!

I was bummed that these boots are not really waterproof and my feet are really cold in them. I wore them in wet icy weather and my socks were damp right away. My feet froze all day

I loved these boots at first, but I am sad to report that two years later the seams are coming apart at the top of the boot. There is no support so they are not comfortable for a lot of walking. I am disappointed to be purchasing another brand after spending so much the first time.

I tried to love sorels but they just aren't that comfortable to me. Love the look though. Found they were a boxy/clunky, and I couldn't get enough tightness around the foot and ankle. Also the rubber seemed to dig in at the heel.

Poor quality. Lining in toe is bunched in both boots. Unwearable. Lighter weight than most Sorels. Not sure how warm they will be.

I wore these boots in 30 degree temps and my feet were cold within and hour. Also the back bent in as another shopper described and pushed against my lower calf most of the day. I had high hopes, very disappointed!

I received these boots about 2 months ago as a gift and have to say that I am not happy with them. My feet sweat EVERY TIME I wear them. I put on a cotton pair of socks and by 1/2 my feet are cold and clammy, and have to wear socks because it is not comfortable without them. I have never experience this with a pair of boots.

After reading the reviews, I agree and disagree with them. After ordering them and receiving them (after 2 days!) this is what I found: - they seem very warm to me, I'm not worried about my feet getting cold at all - especially with warm socks - I agree with the other raters, the toe area is much smaller than the Joan of Arctic boot. I feel like I'm wearing a normal size boot. - The boots do seem to run a bit small. I wear an 8 1/2 consistently and my toes were hitting the edge of the boot with very thin socks on. I'm sending them back and ordering a size 9. Even if it's a little big, it shouldn't be anything thick wool socks can't fix! -the raspberry color is super cute, especially against the tan canvas. The color looks just like it is depicted in the picture.

Not sure what all the hype is about this shoe. I did not find it to be comfortable at all! I am normally a size 8 but ordered an 8 1/2 which felt to be the right size but it was not at all comfy, it had zero arch support, the fur looked very cheap, and it didn't feel like it would keep my feet warm in the winter. Not impressed...they are going back. :(

I loved the way these boots look. I had these last season for my only snow boots. It snows a lot where I am from. These boots gave me pain in the achilles heel and ankle area. It rubs. It is also a bit stiff. At first I thought it was because I needed to break them in but it wasn't. Searching now for new winter boots.

I wanted to love these boots. Actually, I did love these boots. But I did not love how they felt. Wow, are they painful! At first I thought I just needed to break them in but 2 weeks later the back of the boot continues to dig into my heel. Even with 3 pairs of socks and band aids the boots still hurt badly. It's a shame, I just wanted them to be comfortable because they were definitely cute and kept my feet warm. But with each step my feet just ached. And it wasn't that they were too big/too small. They fit perfectly, but the heel support just isn't there.

I ordered size 7 (I'm normally 6.5). Fit was fine. These just aren't that comfortable (they feel stiff) or nice looking. I got the twill color. Looks cheap and messy, like there's too much going on with the color contrast, the laces, and the fur.

This is the second attempt at finding a pair of Sorel's that work and once again, they've failed me. (First style was Joan of Arctic II). Unlike with the Joan of Arctic II, the toe box and fit of these are right on for the width/size of a woman's foot, but they aren't nearly as warm as the Joan of Arctic II. The other issue I experienced is that when I walk in the, the back of the boot shaft buckles and digs right into my Achilles tendon. Very uncomfortable! So sadly, these are going back as well.

I ordered these boots in August, in preparation for the coming winter. After reading the reviews, I ordered half a size up--I'm normally between a 7 and a 7.5, so I ordered the 7.5. I wore these boots once, in the snow, and returned them. They were too big! I wore thick boot socks with these boots, and they still rode up on the backs of my feet so badly, that I had to hobble through a very long dog walk. Overall, these boots looks nice, and they were warm during that long walk. But maybe think twice about ordering up, and start with your shoe size.

I really wanted to like them because they were comfortable and very cute but my feet froze in them when it was not really that cold out and I was not out that long.

The vertical strip in the back of these boots fold a sharp crease into the calf when the leg bends forward. They dig right above the heel, so it interferes with normal gait. These will be returned as they are painful to walk in, which is unfortunate because they are comfortable around the foot. Also, the faux fir is everywhere. I also tried and will return the "Tivoliâ?¢ High" for the same reason, though not as bad since the strip is a bit narrower.

I am sorry to write this review because I loved these boots so much. I have had them for a year and although I live in Chicago, I would have expected them to last longer. One boot had torn in 2 places and the other has torn in one place. They are all just from grabbing the loops to pull your boot on. They are nice and warm but just either badly made or not very strong. Sad day?

Sizing is true to size. Buy your regular shoe size. Super cute boot that will keep your feet warm and dry; they truly are waterproof. WARNING THOUGH - Only buy sorels if you plan on wearing them for walking on snow. I live in NYC and commute a ton and after wearing them for two seasons, I have concluded THEY ARE NOT MADE FOR CITY WEARING. They are very very slippery on certain subway platforms as well as building lobbies tiles. I have had more than my fair share of slip and slide close calls wearing these shoes to say they are more than a coincidence. Because of this slippery issue, I have to dock 4 stars away from the shoe.

Your boots run SO SMALL and SO NARROW it is ridiculous. I normally wear a size 9 in any shoe. I first ordered a 9.5 because they were boots and heavier socks returned those ordered a 10.5 my toes are at the end of the boot without socks and the boots are still too narrow.
I'd also recommend:
something that is wider I have never had this problem before in my life.

Do not order these boots!!!I purchased for my daughter and she developed blisters on the backs and sides of her ankles after 10 minutes. Too painful to wear and no use trying to break them in. Many reviewers had the same experience so this is definitely a design flaw! Sorel needs to rethink the leather strip on the back

I agree with another reviewer that this boot runs very small, is flat and the toes curl up. I wear an 8-1/2 or 9. I ordered these boots in a 9-1/2 and my toes rubbed at the ends of the boots with thin socks. These boots also curl upward so the arch of the foot stretches with each step. These boots are just uncomfortable with less than zero arch support. Such a disappointment because these boots certainly get style points.

Very stiff, particularly in the back. It wasn't comfortable to walk in, and very awkward to drive wearing them. I tried them out on a 28 degree day, my feet were cold. Returning them now.
