Arrived just in time to go out in the yard with the dog with a foot or more or snow on the ground. Warm, fit well and toes are dry. I ordered the Joan of Arc and returned those for this style instead. The Joan of Arc seemed too bulky compared to this style.

The boot is a little heavier than some others I've tried. The fur on top looks super cheap. I wound up returning. They weren't the most comfortable either.

I read reviews on this boot before purchasing. I wear an 8 1/2 shoe, 9 boot so I can wear heavy socks. My toes were touching the front of the boot in stockings! It is a nice looking boot, but for the price, I believe I can do better. They are going back.

I ordered these and the Joan of Arctic II. As other reviewers mention, these run a tiny bit short. Even without socks, my toe was bumping the end. I decided to keep the Joan of Arctic because I think they look better with skinny jeans or leggings tucked in.

I love this boot. My only complaint would the that the faux fur sheds, so there's a chance you'd see it on your pants/jeans.

Cute boot, and I'm excited to see how it handles the snow and cold this winter. Some other reviews mention that the boot runs small, and I can confirm that it does. I normally wear an 8N, sometimes a 7.5. I ordered this boot in an 8. The width is great for my narrow foot, but the length is on the edge of being too short.

I have tried the Joan of Arctic II (too clunky and very painfully chafed my calves), North Face Shellista (gave me blisters) and now these. I love the look and feel of these boots. They are pain free (finally!). The only negative is in the warmth department. My feet get frostbit fairly easily, and I wore them last night for 20 minutes in 12 degree temps with 2 layers of socks (one pair were thick wool socks) and when I got home, there was a tiny spot of numb whiteness on one toe. Not bad, but not as good as the other 2 boots I returned which I had to return due to the pain they inflicted. So, I do like these boots a whole lot, would like them even more if they were a tad warmer and higher in the shaft. But my search is over, I'm finally settling on these and am pretty happy with them.

When I first opened the box my initial thought was, the material looks/feels cheap. The fur at the top is definitely cheap and sheds quite a bit. I wore them outside with thin smart wool socks for quite awhile after getting about a foot of snow and my feet stayed completely warm! They are very stylish and not too bulky and they needed no breaking in. Although they do look cheap up close, I received many compliments on them and am happily surprised that I love them! It's a possibility that Sorel's quality has gone downhill recently or maybe boot material is getting thinner but technology is keeping us warm (think puffy coats) and although I'm not sure which it is, I do love these boots. They're more for stylish city trekking in snow rather than hiking or any sporty activity. Definitely order a size up!

These are cute shoes. I ordered an 8 based on everyone's reviews. It was way too big even with heavier socks (I usually take between a 7 and 7½) so they are going back. I am not sure yet if I will try for another size. The top fur does look kind of like matted dog hair.

I love these boots! The colors are vibrant and look beautiful together. I always receive many compliments when I wear them. The fit is true to size. I have a wide fit and usually have to go a size up but didn't with this boot. I've worn them in the recent snow storm we had here in the Midwest and they were warm and comfortable. Overall, they were a good investment!

I am returning these boots. Super cute and light weight but the toe points up and is not as comfortable as I would like. I am normally a size 8 and ordered them in a size 8 but when I tried them on with thick socks, they were a little too tight.

I like the boot a lot but it was way too small. I usually wear a 9 1/2 but went for the 10 and my toe hit the front. Otherwise, it seemed like it would have been a great boot.

I typically wear a 7-7.5. Had to return the 7.5 for an 8. The 8 fit great. I'm returning because the insoles are not glued into the shoe, they are removable, so they move with each step taken. (I find this uncomfortable.) Bummer, because they are way cute!

Definitely go up a half to a full size. I am consistently a size 7 and the 7.5 fit well. The boot is light weight and the style is nice and not clunky. I am returning though because the back of the boot bent awkwardly into my achilles area of my heel when I walked in them.

I bought these and two other pairs of boots and these were the winners. I wished I could have kept the North Face Abby IV Luxe, as they were by far the cutest boots (but impossible to put on or take off), but these were a fine second place. They are cute, easy to get on and off, very comfortable, and very warm. I wore them all day the first day it snowed and they were comfortable all day long - no blisters or break in period. I did get half a size up based on reviews here. The only thing I would caution you about is that they are a bit slippery on the bottom and I was afraid that I would fall going up and down the subway steps and on the sidewalk, but I did not and I cannot say that any other boots would be less slippery.

Other than having to size down a half a size and not being used to stiff snow boots (or any snow boots in general hailing from Florida), I found these boots very useful for my trip to NY in February. They definitely keep your feet warm and dry. I only regret I didn't wear these on the coldest day of my trip!

Cute snow/weather shoe, but not very comfortable. 9 1/2 (which is my regular size) was too short in the toe area, 10 was roomy (which is o.k. because you can wear thick socks). But the toe cap is hard plastic and it was really uncomfortable because I have long toes.

Comfortable stylish boots. Wish they were a bit warmer in the toe area. Wore them walking through snow and they didn't keep my feet warm. Wish it had better lining.

They are not as waterproof as some other Sorel's I own and there is not a removable liner. BUT they're much lighter than other boots I've purchased so they're good for walking around the city. Here in the Northeast, my toes still get a little cold.

I purchased these in the trail/autumn bronze and immediately started getting compliments. They are very warm and keep my feet nice and dry. The first time I wore them was in the rain in NYC, and for the 40 degree temperature they were a bit too warm. They are perfectly comfortable for walking and do not feel clunky like a lot of boots. However, I have very sensitive heels and get blisters very easily. These boots were unfortunately no exception. They will require a bit of breaking in to soften them. I live in the Boston area and we have not had enough cold or snow to really need to wear them, so it will take me a long time to get them broken in. If you are not prone to upper heel/lower ankle blistering, then dive right in. If you are, keep in mind you may have to invest in breaking them in.

This boot in Boysenbery is so cute! I get lots of compliments and these boots are definitely waterproof...dry dry dry...they have good traction...but they are cold. They do not keep your feet warm. The fleece lining inside is very thin. The fur is just a fashionable trim for looks. Although I love these boots...invest in some wool socks to wear with them.

I love them! The one flaw is that there is no top buckle so the top kind of flaps open. I have very thin calfs so it may just be me, but I had to wrap the laces around one more time so it would stay closed. They do not look very snowbooty but they are waterproof. They are good if you just want something to wear in the rain. The fur at the top makes it look very high class and expensive. The white is more of a cream, but they look good anyways. They are a little bit small so I would recommend ordering half a size up. I will wear them as snowboots and rainboots so they are well worth the money. Overall, I love these boots!

These boots are warm and comfortable and easy to walk in. I bought up a size after reading the reviews but found that I needed my regular size instead.

These boots have really grown on me. They're stylish and comfortable, and pretty warm. They are definitely waterproof but I have felt the cold when a lot of snow accumulates on them. I still like them though. But I wouldn't go on a long winter hike in 12 inches of snow with them. Save that for the Angel.

Just received these great boots. They are stylish and will be great for around town in our snow storms. I have a narrow foot and order my normal size. I tried them on with a thin sock and have plenty of room if I want to wear a thick sock when out in the cold. At first I thought about sizing down just due to the space in the boot but then length would be a problem. I read other comments about the no arch support but have not been able to see the results as I just rec'd them and put them on. Although, I would have plenty of room to add an insole if necessary. I love there is not much bulk to these boots.
