These are so cute but unfortunately they're going back. They were too stiff and cut into the back of my ankle. Maybe breaking them in would do the trick, but for the price, I don't want to take my chances. I like the look and am hoping another style like the Joan will work. The quilting is super cute as is the fur.

I haven't worn them in the snow yet but they seem pretty comfortable. Although, a little stiff I think they will become more comfortable. I also thought they ran a little small and had to return my normal 8.5 and get a 9. Now just the true test of a Boston walker winter...

Seems it will be a good boot for shoveling, maybe not walking around all day. I have large calves, and I have to wear them somewhat loose or else the boots push down and bend inwards around my heel and top of foot, but it's not unbearable. Hoping the boot will get more flexible with time. Also, seems to run a bit narrow compared to a North Face boot I have. Ordered a 1/2 size up so I have more width with heavy socks.

I tried several different pairs in the same size and they had the same problem. The decorative band that runs up the back is stiff and bends forward digging into the back of my ankles when I walk making them very uncomfortable. Had to return.

The boots themselves were very nice- warm, cozy, kept the snow out- I really liked them. However, I wore the boots on my way to work and found that they are DANGEROUS on wet floors! I was in a train station and stepped on a damp floor (linoleum-type material- nothing out of the ordinary) and my feet flew up from under me as if I had stepped on an oil slick. Initially I thought that perhaps it was just a slick part of the floor that someone had spilled food on but I tested out the boots in another spot (being extremely careful) and no, the boots are just terrible on the wet floor. I couldn't believe it. So, anyone who has or is considering buying these boots- please take care on wet surfaces indoors!

Really cute, runs narrow which is good for my narrow feet. Sending the back as they press against my Achilles and cause pain.

The Tofino boot runs smaller and narrower than expected. I will order a 1/2 size larger. Also the 1st pair I ordered had a defect in the interior lining along the top of the toe box.It had a fold in the felt lining and made it uncomfortable to wear.

This was a gift for my mother. I had to order three pairs to get the right fit. Order a full size up as apparently Sorels run small. Otherwise she loves them.

I ordered The Tofino in the Curry color which is beautiful, but these boots just missed the mark. First, they felt that they ran a full size too small. I usually wear a size 8, and my toes were smashed. I could barely walk. Second, the fur on top of the boots looks so much cheaper in comparison to the Joan of Arctic's I ordered. Third, the Tofino is much more narrow, and though it does not feel as clunky, I don't feel they are a true snow boot. Overall, although the Tofino is nice, it is a much cheaper version of the Joan of Arctic.

Love the look of these boots. I read previous reviews of the back seam rubbing and causing blisters. The previous reviews are correct. After 2 hours the pain set in. The back outside leather seam collapses into the Achilles tendon area and rubs until you get a blister. It has happened on both feet. For boots that are so expensive the design is flawed. I have tried different socks and pants but the boot still collapses. On a positive note, my feet have stayed dry and warm in the Ohio snow.

Ankle of this boot is very stiff. Does not flex well when walking, makes for uncomfortable binding. Suppose it would soften with time but it's a return for me.

I thought these would be a good addition to Uggs I wear in the winter time. Unfortunately, these boots dug into the back of my calf. Sorry cute boots, you have to go back.

My husband insisted I needed Sorels and this was the only cute on available. Disappointed. The top is a dirty grey white and the fit is "strange" there is very little arch support and the shape is not normal for my size 8 foot the heel "box" is larger than the rest of the boot. I'm keeping them...just because this will satisfy my husband. The warmth is not there either. They are about a 7 in cute and 3-4 in everything else.

This boot is cute but runs really narrow, especially for a snow boot. Also runs short. Order 1/2 to one size up. I went with the Joan of Arctic instead and I wear a 10.5.

These boots run very small. Multiple reviews mentioned that they run half a size small. I ordered my usual size 9 since Zappos was out of stock in 9.5. They arrived right away but will have to go back just as quickly. With thin athletic socks, my toes are squeezed against the front edge of the shoe. I hope Zappos gets more of these in stock soon! My usual size 9 was so snug that I doubt that going half a size up will be enough. I recommend ordering one full size larger than usual.

I spent a lot of timing finding the right Sorel boots for this winter. I really loved the look of this boot, but unfortunately they did not fit me properly. I typically wear a size 7M so started with that size. They were way too small. Then tried the 8, and they were too large. Naturally, I figured the 7.5 would work well but will have to send them back. The problem for me is that the toe box is just a tad too narrow (and I do not have wide feet). I went to a local shoe store to try the Joan of Arctic but hated the way they looked on me (they are bulky and looked overpowering on my small frame). I finally went to REI and feel in love with the Tivoli. They are perfect for me!

Runs small. Not as warm and fuzzy inside as I would have liked. Also, the laces are cute but WAY too long.

Gorgeous boot. I'm so sad they don't work. They are way too narrow for my foot. I buy medium width shoes, but these were way too snug and not comfortable at all. Plus, they didn't keep my feet warm. I wore them sledding with my family in the mountains and they just didn't fit the bill. I would say if you don't care about comfort or warmth, and only want them for looks, then get them. Otherwise, keep looking.

Cute boot, although I agree with another reviewer that the fur might be a little more than necessary (looks like a small animal wrapped around the calf, and I assume if playing in the snow, snow would really stick to the fur). The main problem is that if the boot fits the foot, the ankle area is huge. I do not know what size ankles these are made for, but my foot slipped out because of the bulkiness in this area. My ankles may be on the slimmer side, but these boots are made for cankles.

So, this is the eighth boot that I am trying. They are great. They are comfortable, my feet slide easily in and they come off without too much effort without being too loose. However, the faux fur on the top sheds - it comes out in bunches when pulling the feet out. So I am sending them back. I am disappointed.

The material is thin, they may be waterproof but I need them to keep my feet dry AND warm in freezing Midwest temps and these just won't cut it. Also, as I've read a few other places, I did experience the stiffness at the back of the heel where the boot seems to bend when I walk. Don't know if that would get better as they broke in or worse. They are really cute, got the twill and they look great with leggings or skinny jeans. But I have Uggs to be cute, needing for real winter boots now, these have to go back. :(

I was very excited to receive these boots, I had read some good reviews. I needed a 10.5, they had it and they fit my feet perfectly, until I started walking around. Unfortunately these boots also have a rather thick strip of leather running up the back of the boot, I'm assuming for both style and to hold the boot up, this leather strip wasn't very flexible and dug into the back of my legs as I walked in them. It only took a few trips around my living & dining room to figure out it would be a problem, especially since I wear boots all the time in the long northern winter we have. I know that it should soften in time but I wasn't about to spend so much money a good pair of boots to take a chance breaking them in and hoping the leather strip would soften up enough. Of course, the included insoles really don't offer any arch support but I've never bought a pair of shoes that did, I just plan on buying better insoles whenever I purchase shoes. Overall, I really liked these boots except for that leather strip up the back, if only it was a little thinner or softer to start, it was a deal breaker for me.

I tried these after owning the Joan of Artics for two years and dreading wearing those because they dig into my ankle. The Tofino Cates are better, but they still do the same thing. The ankle part buckles inward and rubs against my ankle making them really uncomfortable. Maybe I'm just not made for Sorels because I have large calves? It's sad, but I'll have to stick with my Hunter rain boots for the snow.

These are super cute and very warm, but they run small. I am an average size 11 and don't own one pair of shoes or boots any bigger, but my toes were right up against the edge of the boot with these -- and I was in bare feet! There's no 11.5, so I will have to return for a 12, which I am sure will be okay with winter socks.
