I loved these boots. I originally ordered the Caribou and they were huge! The 1964 is a nice compromise.

Love these boots! They keep my feet so warm, I can wear regular socks with them. I don't find them to be difficult to get on or off. I did size a whole size down though. They look so cute with jeans, leggings, tights - I'm really happy I have them in my life now!

I bought these shoes in preparation for a November trip to Vancouver, BC, and they were GREAT! I did not break them in ahead of time, and aside from the interior slightly rubbing the outside of my ankle on the first day, they were very comfortable. I wore them every day I was there. The outer ankle just had to break in a little and by day two it wasn't an issue. It rained most of the time, and we went on different hikes and other outdoor activities, and they kept my feet warm and comfortable. And they're super cute and went well with all my outfits when we were just around town. My normal size is a 5.5, and due to other reviews, I sized down to a 5 and they were perfect! The 5.5 would have had a little too much room in the heel. I can't wait to wear them to the snow this winter... Highly recommend these boots!

Overall great quality boots! I've been looking at these boots for months and finally made the purchase. So glad I did and can't wait till the colder weather so I can wear them!! Now they do run large, so after reading other reviews, I did size down which was the right choice. I would recommend sizing half size or even 1 full size down.

I have been so nervous to commit to a pair of boots but when these came back in stock I took a chance. I cannot say enough good things about these boots. They are warm. They are stylish. They have great traction. Yes, they are a little bit clunky but that is just the warmth of winter boots meant for commuting or hiking, not walking on a catwalk. I am a size 7 and they fit really well. They are a bit snug with thicker SmartWool socks but that just adds to the warmth of them. I keep hoping for more snow so I have a chance to wear them!

Love these boots! I had originally bought the Caribou boots locally and they seemed so bug and clunky. I decided to return them and purchase these boots through Zappos! The fit even better than the Caribou ones. I read they run large but I didn't find that to be true. I actually had to go a half size up from my normal 9.5 size to a 10. I have yet to try these boots in the snow and cold but just by wearing them around the house I can tell they will keep my feet warm in the freezing ND winters. I will definitely be getting another pair of Sorel boots in the future!

After years of searching for the perfect winter boot, I have found it! Very warm, comfortable and stylish. Order a full size down.

Bought these for my daughter she loves them but they were half size too big... She normally wears a 6 1/2 but we need to send them back for a size 6

Great boot! Comfy, warm and good looking. Has a nice thick felt lining. I actually needed to exchange for a bigger size (my feet have grew 1 whole size since 2 babies. :) Customer service was excellent! Received the next day. Would recommend to anyone needing a cute & practical winter boot.

Great looking boot that is comfortable and waterproof. Good for walking the dog. Not good for walking down stairs. Next time I'll order a half size down.

These shoes are a great winter shoe. I especially love the wool/fleece liner. I usually wear a 7.5 women's and went with the 7, but they were too small with socks. In my opinion, since there are only whole sizes, you should go up to the next largest size.

These boots are awesome! I've hardly taken them off since I got them and my feet have been so toasty despite single digit temperatures. Order a full size down though, I'm an 8 and got a 7 and they are not tight at all.

Order at least a full size smaller than what you are! In my case, it was 2 sizes smaller. I'm a size 8 but got the 6. I also have Joan of the Arctic in a size 7 and I wore them all last winter comfortably. The felted wool may make you feel that the boot is smaller than it actually is. But that liner does form to your foot upon wear and mats down. They are all fantastic boots, I found that the Tivoli wasn't waterproof, just a cute boot for girls who don't really go out and do work in the snow. Caribou is fabulous too. Love Zappos.

These boots are great! I have a wide foot and they fit perfectly. I'm usually a 9 or 10, and the 9's fit fine, and will have room for thick socks. They do look a bit clunky, but they are snow boots so that's to be expected. Over all i think they are still very stylish for Vermont, and perfect for rain and snow.

These shoes did exactly what I need. They are extremely warm and waterproof. They are big and bulky, but I think that’s to be expected from a heavy snow boot. Overall they are comfortable, but I do think there is a slight break in period. Good quality that I’ve come to expect from Sorel. I expect these boots will last for years to come!

This was my first pair of Sorels. My foot was warm and dry but adjusting the shaft to comfort takes some time. They are not comfortable right out of the box. Overall I like them and will certainly get much use from.

Love these boots, lots of room to layer up extra socks if needed but they don't look super bulky. Not the warmest boot but perfect for walking around and basic snow activities.

I wanted to love these so much. They were incredibly comfortable on my foot, but they were just too heavy for me. Chicago winters are brutal, but I don’t want to feel like I’ve got ankle weights on while I’m shlepping through the snow and ice.

I wear an 8.5 I ordered an 8 and they fit ok , I still have a little wiggle room due to the width of the boot . I will just wear heavy socks. Not a deal breaker. Style is great ! Very warm. A previous review stated driving in the boots was a problem. It really was … almost dangerous ! Glad I bought them ! Love them !

I feel like it’s fair to call them Schrodinger’s boots: they are tight and loose all at once. They are very narrow near the toe but very loose near the arch. The upper is incredibly stiff but that will loosen up over time because it is fresh leather. I am 5’1”, and these hit about 3 inches below my knee, so it is safe to say I will be prepared for the next nor’easter. I’m actually looking forward to the next cold snap!

I made the mistake of listening to people who said these run large. I wear a 9.5 and should have just ordered it in that size, my toe touched the end in the 9 and I’m returning them. No one is kidding about these being WIDE boots though. Because of the liner, I don’t think it would be a problem with rubbing or sliding in the boot, and wider can actually give you better support/traction on ice, but these are not dainty, city boots. They are traditional, up north, below zero, keep your toes warm, snow boots. I’m from Michigan and these would be great boots there, but I live in the mid Atlantic now, and they are probably overkill for the 2 whole months of real winter here.
