I ordered these and the Sorel Harlow Lace Cozy. The boots are very different but I needed something that would work well in cold and snow, so I thought I would try both. I am usually an 8 or 8 1/2, and I ordered an 8 in these. The 8 fit fine. But the boot is very awkward and bulky. I read the other reviews and thought people might be exaggerating about it, but that insert is just a pain when you're putting the boots on or taking them off. The boots made my feet look huge, mainly due to their bulk and width. I kept the Harlows (ordered an 8 1/2 in those and that fit great) but sending these back. They seem like great quality but they just aren't my style.

Great boots. Seem as if they would be very warm. However, the arch support is lacking, so they have to go back. Would not be comfortable for us to wear for any length of time (other than going from the car to work).

The boot made my feet look huge. Embarrassingly huge. Cute boots, but I returned.

Very cute boot out of the box, but it was a weird fit. Normally a 9.5, ordered a 9.5, and the length was fine, but there was an odd amount of space between the front of my ankle and the boot, which caused it to slip while walking even when the laces were tightened. It was also difficult to take off without the lining coming out - laces loosened. They're going back.

Loved the way these boots looked, but I should have sized down. When I got a new pair, they were perfect and so stylish!

I have looked on several websites at Sorel. The sizes seem to be all over the place. The Sorel site is very expensive for returns and exchanges (ridiculous)-so I used Zappos instead -so I could navigate and get the right size without going bankrupt. I wear btwn a 9 and 9.5. I ordered 9.5 and it fits fine-with the inserts it came with. The boots are adorable, but a bit clunky. I haven't used them yet-moving to CO soon and wanted a boot on sale to take with me for next winter.

I liked this boot a lot, but ordered a half size up based on recommendations and it was too big so sending it back. But they are cute and solid and would be great trekking around town in.

They were a little difficult to walk in, may just need to be broken in. Felt like the ankle didn't want to bend when I was walking. Really wish they fit better. Am going to return and get a similar style only slimmer in the ankle hoping that helps.

Love the style and color! Very comfortable and feels like I am walking on air.

Way too big and clunky for my taste. If I want a boot this clunky, I will order the Joan or Arctic as it is higher and will provide better winter warmth.

Holy moly! It is hard to find cute winter boots for the subarctic winters of Chicago that are actually practical. Like, really hard. These are cute, comfortable, and ridiculously warm! Those felt inserts just keep your toes all toasty despite the heaps of snow and ice you may be trudging through while waiting for the subway. I have flat feet, so the complaint others have about little to no arch support does not really effect me. The upper part of the shoe is waxed canvas, so I know that they will stay fairly water resistant, which is a positive. My only complaint is that the toes of the boots are wide. I mean clown shoe wide. I am a women's size 10 and ordered the 10½ because they run a bit small and I have to wear a few pairs of socks because I am a wuss in the winter). I do not need to accentuate the size of my feet, but the width of the toes - it does. It does accentuate. Thanks a lot, Sorel. As if I did not already have a complex about my abnormally large feet. Overall, these are total winners. Midwestern winters suck. We hide under layers upon layers to feel warmth and sometimes we get lucky enough to find cute boots that also give us great warmth!

I absolutely love these boots! I ordered them half a size bigger than I usually wear, and they fit so comfortably. They are very well made.

Just as cute in real life as they are in the picture, I get a lot of compliments! They're very hard to get into if you have wide feet like me, but the inside will be roomy (I went up a full size, probably could've gone a half)!

I usually wear a 10, but I ordered these in an 11; they were too big and looked like a platypus. I am returning these and ordering another style from Zappos.

I ordered these boots because I love the style and the colors, but I don't honestly think they are that practical as a snow boot. I'm sure with the wool removable liner (which is great) that they will be warm (have not tested temp rating outdoors or in cold/snowy weather), but as adorable as the style is with the colored laces and lots of eyelets, the lacing is kind of a pain. I also found them to be fairly heavy for their size/construction. I'm not a big person, so maybe on a taller/heavier person the weight of the boot would not be as bothersome. Also, it may depend on why you're wearing them - I would be wearing them primarily for shoveling snow, sledding with kids, and getting around and in and out of the house with dogs/kids when there is decent snow on the ground. For going in and out of the house, these boots would be a pain to get off and on, and for walking up snowy hills (sledding), they would be heavy and cumbersome. They are super cute, but don't really serve my needs. I'm also discovering I don't love the footbed/foot comfort of Sorel in general - just don't think they mold to the foot as well as Kamik or Pajar. I wear a 7.5 in normal shoes and these were a bit too snug in 7.5 to be comfortable/roomy for proper air circulation for warmth with mid-weight socks. I would re-order in a 8 for better fit.

These boots are very cute. Sadly I am returning them. I ordered my regular size 10 (US), and my feet are on the narrow side. These boots were waaaay too big. They were too wide as well as too long, while wearing thick socks. I believe the term duck feet was used to describe the fit of these boots on me. All that said I would highly recommend that you SIZE DOWN. I went with the Sorel Tovoli boot (less) that I had originally ordered, less clunky, good fit, super warm, good traction.
