I'm legitimately shocked how fast my feet get cold in these. Driving along we stopped to take a few pictures, 31 degree day in the snow and my feet were cold within 15 minutes. Took a long time to warm back up.I wore these for a winter vacation and my feet would get painfully cold even in a heated van on the way to places.

I like the way these boots look so much, but I have to return them. They have zero traction. I wore them in light snow and almost fell several times. Moreover, the lining slips in and out making them a bit tough to get into/out of. I have an old pair of Sorel Caribous and they have great grip but are much bulkier Sorel- PLEASE make a boot that isn't? super bulky (like these) that you can actually wear in snow and ice without slipping.

I have done a lot of research and came with the decision to buy these despite the reviews I read about the inner lining. Well, it disappointed. The lining was too small with what I would call an average thickness of a winter sock. Of course I wanted to wear the boots with the lining for warmth however I did take the lining out to see the size difference with wearing the boot with no lining and they were huge! I wear a size 11, ordered a size 11 and will not get a size 12 as they will be way to big and will not have the support I need.

I love the look of these, but—sadly!—these boots are not as warm as advertised and are quite wide.

These look so awesome in person but when worn- they are so bulky and big. I even returned for a smaller size which didn't help- all around big (and I have wide feet!) wish they could have worked for me.

Seem like a rain boot more than winter boot. Felt lining comes out and moves around making it difficult to get boot both on and off.

I live in Vermont, where it is pretty cold. (It has been between -33 and 30 degrees Fahrenheit for four months or so.) After reading the reviews, I was pumped about these boots. It seemed like they would look good and keep my feet warm, even in the bitter cold. I bought three pairs, one for me and one each for my two male friends. My first surprise was that the tags on the boots said that the men's boots were rated to much colder temperatures than the women's by ten degrees or so. As it turns out, my friends have been extremely happy with the boots, and I have been miserable. I spend a lot of time outdoors in the winter, snowshoeing, hiking, running around, so I really need a good boot. These boots, with no matter which socks I wear, have never kept my feet warm. After 15 minutes outside of the car, feeding chickens or running errands, my toes are so cold that they hurt. I have resorted to wearing lots of socks and my old rain boots because even that seems to work better than these boots. If you live in a place that doesn't get that cold, maybe try these boots. If you are somewhere colder than 30 degrees, forget about it.

I put one star only because no Sorel shoes can fit my feet. All models run extremely wide and bulky for narrow feet and ankles. The quality of this product is great though. They have warm sock-like inserts inside.

Well, they never showed up so I'm pretty disappointed with the shoes.

Before you purchase these boots, please be advised that these boots fit snug but are quite bulky (which is why I purchased these boots ahead of a snowstorm in my area). My feet were completely soaked after only being outside for 10 minutes.

After glowing reviews, I was so excited to get my Sorel boots just in time for my trip to Iceland! Unfortunately, these are the worst "snow" boots I've ever owned. Not only did they not keep my feet warm, I was slipping and sliding in the snow. With how expensive these boots were, I would think they would have better traction. I let this trip pass because I was on ice, and there are not many boots that have good traction on ice. However, since I live in New York, I figured these would be perfect for the slush of the New York winter. To my dismay, once again I'm slipping and sliding on the streets. These boots should NOT be advertised as snow boots. I am very disappointed in these boots and this company.

I have high insteps, and I cannot get these on. My foot just won't go in. Perhaps I'm supposed to remove the lining insert? I have had problems with boots in the past, but usually if they have laces I can manage. I'm very disappointed, since I walk in wet woods in the winter and I'd thought these would be perfect.
