Not what I expected in an Asics shoe. The sole beneath the arch is MUCH THICKER than a glance at the photos would indicate. Orthopedic looking. Just felt and looked weird. Returning.

I have owned Asics shoes before and have loved them. These shoes however ran a half size too small and did not meet my finicky feet needs. I have high arches, which these shoes did not support. They also didn't have that cushy cloud feel that I love so much. I stand on my feet at work all day and need the cushion and arch support. They are a good looking shoe and seem to be made well, but just weren't for me. I'm writing this before sending back. Wish me luck on customer service!

Not enamored of these shoes. They were very stiff when I got them and after a couple of months have become pliable. However, now they are beginning to fall apart and loose their shape. I wish I had returned them! Having worn Asics Duomax for several years, I was sure they would be okay. They are not. May go back to Brooks despite the cost.

I have tried this shoe 4 times in 4 different sizes and none fit. Because of foot surgery I wear a size 8EE. I have tried 8EE, 8 1/2EE, 9EE and a men's size 7EE with no luck.

I work on my feet 8 hours a day. This was the worst shoe I ever bought! Even though I bought a half size larger my toes were still pinched. After wearing the shoes (hoping they would stretch) I finally gave up and reverted back to my old shoes. The worst money I ever spent!

This is quite possibly the worse shoe I have ever tried to put on. I say "tried" because even though I ordered the double wide width (confirmed by the box and the shoe tongue), I could not get this shoe on my foot! I don't know what to say. They literally felt TWO sizes smaller, and built for NARROW. Asics used to have such good shoes and this has made me determined to seek out a new favorite. I am mostly sorry for Zappos that they will have almost all of these shoes returned to them, as Asics clearly has no quality control. I'm sorry these are coming back, Zappos.

I wore these shoes to Europe this past September. I came back with two blue toenails (second toe each foot - caused by not having enough space for the toe to move), and two big toenails that (according to my podiatrist) experienced trauma. The shoes felt comfortable, but they were obviously not good shoes for miles of walking. My foot size is 8½. That size was too small (not enough toe room) so I ordered a 9. I thought that I had enough toe room, but obviously, I did not. I believe this is owing to the shape of the shoes. These will go to the Good Will (and good riddance). I have switched to Brooks Addiction and Brooks Ariel, both of which have a more rounded toe. I ordered half a size up in each. I do not ever want to go through this again. It is not clear whether one toenail will ever be the same again. The doctor had a wait and see response.
