I walk the dog a couple of miles a day and have back and leg problems. This is a great shoe - super support. Ordering a second pair to keep at work and use for exercise classes offered there.

Very comfortable shoes. My 6th pair of Asics, but my 1st walking shoe. My other Asics are running shoes and the feel is different. The Walker has more overall support and the feel is great. Plus with the cooler weather, the leather (rather than mesh) protects my feet from the elements. The shoe runs ever so slightly narrower and shorter than the Gel-Kayano 17, GT-2170 and Gel-1170 that I own, but not uncomfortably so. I wear a thinner sock to adjust. I walk 5 miles a day and it's a pleasure in these shoes. I am tempted to get another pair soon.

This is an excellent walking and fitness shoe. I walk about 2.5 miles every morning with my dog and these are so comfortable. They are pretty much true to size. I would definitely buy the again, I have other ASICS with the porous top I also like.

Just got these shoes today and went walking....and I love them. I felt like I could have ran but I didn't, I have RA and these make my feet feel great! anyone who walks any distance needs these shoes and I love Zappos!

I've been wearing these shoes for the past 4 months as work shoes. I average 15-25 miles a week walking on concrete floors in a warehouse-type setting. These shoes are great! I'm ordering a 2nd pair for when the first pair finally wears out.

I have multiple foot and back problems and am a surgical nurse. I'm either standing for long periods or doing a large amount of walking. I've tried other brands without success. My Asics are the best I've ever worn, whether walkers or running shoes. Neither my feet nor back hurt at the end of a long shift. I have narrow feet and these still work great! Also, my son grew over 10 inches in a summer and had problems with his feet. I don't really care about style when I'm working, but he was able to find several that were "cool." Asics really work for him, too!

I've never bought Asics shoes before and wanted to compare them to New Balance, which I'm familiar with. The fit is good, and they're very comfortable. They appear to hold up very well, but they're still pretty new. My orthotics, which are very aggressive, fit well into the shoe. Overall, I'll try this brand again.

After three foot operations I needed to find a walking shoe that gave me excellent support and I found it in the Asics Foundation 2 Walker . I did go up a half size to be sure I had enough space and to allow for athletic socks . The toe box is very wide which is imperative for anyone who has had foot surgery. This is a very comfortable shoe. I am working up to walking several miles on pavement without any pain or soreness. I would highly recommend this walker. My only disappointment is that I tried to order another pair and they are sold out in my size. Keeping my fingers crossed that they will be restocked soon.

This shoe lives up to the Asics quality. It is a little less comfortable than my mesh-style Asics running shoe, probably due to the stiffness of the leather vs. the mesh. Overall, a quality comfortable shoe. I've compared the sizing to other Asics shoes I've had, not to other brands (although it is comparable to a pair of Saucony that I have).

The shoe was a good choice. I wore a size 7 in past years, but I have found that with many shoes being manufactured in other countries they run smaller. My recommendation is to order 1/2 to 1 size larger as I did. One size larger on my foot feels true to size and width. I am sure size 7 would have been too small. The arch support seems okay, but not a concern because I must wear orthotics which fit well in the shoes. All in all a good shoe and in fact I may order another pair as it is difficult to find a walker that fits well. I do recommend these shoes.

Amazing! A shoe wide enough for me. When I put them on, they felt like a pair of my favorite slippers. So comfy and, of course, wonderful Zappos service.

This is the second pair of these that i have purchased. I use them for work. I like that they are a solid white and that there isn't mesh on them as i wear them when cleaning bath tubs. I don't have an issue with water getting in them. I highly recommend these shoes.

These shoes are great especially for walking. They're very nicely cushioned, but not so much that they make your feet feel off center. Great fit, I always order Asics in a 1/2 size larger. Great, comfy, nice shoe.

I was concerned with the sizing after reading the other reviews, but these shoes (Size 11) fit me perfectly. I wore them the first day for 8+ hours on my feet on hard surfaces. Excellent support with no foot, knee, back, or hip pain. I will definitely buy another pair as soon as they get some in my size. I have Saucony, Orthaheel, and Skechers also and these Asics are definitely the best of the lot for comfort and support.

These are the most comfortable shoes I have found, I have problems with my feet and have tried a lot. My second runner up would be Saucony Womens GridOmni Walker Walking Shoe.

These are really comfortable. That's everything to me in a sneaker. I have a knee problem and need good support, especially when I am on my feet most of the day. These are very cute, too. I did heed other reviews and bought a half-size up and they fit perfectly, with ample room for wiggling your toes.

Wonderful shoe, but runs small as compared to the same shoe I ordered in white a year ago. Normally I wear a 9.5 wide in this shoe. I had to get a 10 wide in this black version. Otherwise, same supportive, comfortable Asics!

very good walking shoe. true to size also. I only wear asics for their great comfort and support. This shoe will not let you down!

I wanted an all leather shoe for cooler weather. No mesh to let the cold wind blow through. Problem is, so many I have seen have a clinical look. These are not only comfortable but have a bit more of the sporty look I was hoping for in an all white shoe!

Awesome shoe! I love Asics. They are super comfortable right from the start. No need to break these in. I use the shoes for work as I am on my feet all day! They are perfect. Highly recommend. Great service and delivery too!

I am a 54 year old nurse. I wear nothing but these shoes at work. I never have tired or sore feet at the end of a 12 shift! Awesome.

I thought I had finally found the shoes that would give me support and comfort for wearing all day. They did give great support, good heal and toe bed cushion. After wearing them all day, on my feet walking all day, my feet felt good, no heal or toes pain EXCEPT I had blisters on the outside of my little toes. Alas, these will be returned. I think they are worth a try for others with hard to fit feet. So sad. I thought I had found the shoes for me!

Excellent support, attractive and comfortable shoe. Did not provide enough stabilization for lateral sides of foot. Need different model, but love the brand and gel model. Good for orthotic.

My foot measures a woman's size 7 EE and usually find 7.5 EE fits my duck feet. I was excited to find that this black athletic shoe was both lightweight and supportive. I ordered size 7.5 EE but it seemed too short and thus too narrow. So I ordered size 8 EE. The length was fine at 8, but the width was definitely not extra wide. I don't think ASICS has a very good concept of wide width feet. I will have to go with New Balance to get a proper fit.
