The main thing I look for in a sneaker is good forefoot cushioning, so gel insoles are a godsend. If you have that issue, I strongly recommend trying these. They are very comfortable! But why, when so much imagination is devoted to developing new feature-loaded shoes, all they can think of for women to wear is trashy bright colors or blinding white? I don't need six colors of stripes and swirls on my shoes. But I also don't want to look like I work in a medical facility. C'mon Asics, how about making this in plain navy blue? (Not navy/silver/chartreuse/dayglo orange.)

I ordered these shoes with hesitation. I'm so picky about what I put on my feet but I can truly and honestly say that these are the best shoes ever. They make my feet feel good all day long. That is something that I could not say about the Skechers that I had been wearing. I love these shoes and will probably order another pair.

I bought Asics Duo Max shoes on the recommendation of my chiropractor. He said that they would be very supportive. Since he suggested running wasn't good for my back, I really wanted the walking style, but discovered from the Asics website that they weren't shipped anywhere in my area. I wanted them fast because I knew I was going to be walking all around Minneapolis in afew days, so went to Zappos for fast delivery. These shoes are great. Walked all over city streets and no back pain. I want another pair!

Bought these for work; I walk on concrete and steel all day, and on occasion I have to sprint. These are supportive and very comfortable.

I normally wear a wide width but ordered the extra wide so I could wear thick socks. Shoe was so narrow that I had to return.

I have been wearing Asics Gel Nimbus shoes since my podiatrist recommended them last year. Unfortunately, they have a mesh toe covering and are not very good walking shoes for Washington's rainy weather. The Foundation Walker has been perfect and is almost as comfortable as the Nimbus. I use Birkenstock inserts in them for my plantar faciitis and can be on my feet all day with no pain.

I am returning as they are too small (even though I ordered up half a size), and too rigid. I did not feel any gel feel at all. The arch support may be good for those with high arches but was very uncomfortable for my flat feet.

Bought these for my 10 hour bartending shift. Normally the next morning my back and legs are aching but after I wore these shoes I have no pain! Feet never got sore and I hardly felt the need to sit down during my shift. I highly recommend these shoes for anyone in service industry!

I bought these shoes because I needed a comfortable sneaker for winter. My summer Asics are too lightweight for New York winters. These are just as cushiony and roomy as my GT-2000's. They are very roomy in the toebox - almost too big, I have to tie the laces very snugly to prevent my foot from slipping around in them. I would highly recommend them to anyone for whom comfort is a priority over style.

When I was a runner I loved Asics running shoes, so I gave the walking shoes a chance. The average temperature here in Hawaii is 85°, so I thought these shoes would be hot (the leather), but my feet never get sweaty. I walk twice a day, every day, and keep two pairs of the Asics Gel walkers to rotate. There is no break-in period, so you can put on a new pair and walk all day with great foot support. I buy half a size larger to accommodate the thick cushioned socks that I like to wear.

Great work shoe, it has great support and my feet do not hurt at the end of a 9-10 hour shift of standing up all day long.

These seem to be the only shoes thatI can wear these days. I work in an operating room on my feet all day. I also wear these shoes at home to walk in. I just ordered two more pairs.

Love the shoes! Comfortable out of the box. This is my 4th pair of Asics gel sneakers. I was happy to find a pair in all white. Zappos' delivery was quick, and product was double-boxed. Arrived in great condition! I will order Asics Gel sneakers in the future, and I will order through Zappos again.

I love Asics Gel Foundation Walker 2. I'm on my feet all day for work and my feet never hurt, this is my second pair. Love.

Looking for comfortable, well made walking shoe that supports you? Then try this Asics Gel FW 2. At first they were a bit snug even though wide, but I replaced the insole with a gel one I picked up at drug store and voila, perfect fit and gel comfort with every step!

As soon as I put them on they not only felt like slippers, but they also do exactly what they promise! Which is great support and lots of cushion to help with any impact whether walking or light areobics! I have been looking for a workout shoe to help support my lower back and these do the job. They are also true to size. I also wear the Asics gel Nimbus 15 for interval training which is what prompted me to look at the walking shoes by Asics. I have happy feet now!

Great walking shoes. Bought them for Europe. Walked 6.3 miles first day, 5.7 next day and these shoes provided excellent support. I ordered the size I always wear and the shoes fit fine.

I was looking for Asics that had mostly leather and was able to find them on Zappos at the best price. They are just what I was looking for. They fit great and are very comfortable.

I just got these in the mail and they fit perfectly! They support my arches like a dream! They are true to size and width. I have narrow feet and they feel very supportive all the way up to the ankle. I have major foot pain from my Danksos - which I paid a lot for from the Walking Store. They were fine for eight months then I started having the worst foot pain ever, which I found out is plantar fasciitis! So just what I need as a server and mother of seven year old twins. Thanks a lot, Dansko. I had tennis shoes before for four years and no problems. Danskos for less than a year and now excruciating pain. I am so looking forward to testing my Asics out. I will keep you posted!

I've had these shoes for about a few weeks now and I am so happy with them! I've been a Brooks shoe buyer since I was diagnosed with Plantar Fasciitis and these Asics are the second, if not first, most comfortable shoes I own next to my pair of Brooks. I'm so glad I took a chance on these. I've always had flat feet that are somewhat wide. These shoes have really good support and are quite comfortable. There is enough toe space in the shoe box for me and the shoe doesn't hug my feet either. They fit just right. I bought them in all black and I like them because they are a neutral-looking walking shoe (without all of the colors and designs of a typical running shoe). I am very pleased and would buy another pair if I had to.

Great walking and exercising shoe for me -- width and roominess of the toe box keep bunions from bothering me and the sole provides great stability. Asics and New Balance are my go-to athletic shoes!

I do a lot of walking for exercise and these sneakers are the best. Plenty of cushioning and arch support. The leather uppers help keep my feet warm during the winter months.

These shoes are not stylish but the gel is great and the fit would be perfect if I can find an 11. The 10 1/2 is slightly short for walking throughout Europe. Zappos does not have size 11 so still looking.
