While very pretty, these are going back. They cause my feet to pronate which I normally don't do. The sole is thin and too gushy. I bought the olive color which is beautiful, but not worth the price tag if they affect your walk. Sadly returning.

These are nice boots but not my favorite of the Frye line. They would probably last a long time but I just prefer the style fitted around the ankle.

I have five pairs of Frye boots (two pairs of Dorado Lows, one pair of Jenna Inside Zips, and two pairs of Campus 14Ls) so I am loyal to the brand as they all fit my thin calves fabulously and are so flattering! I had wanted a pair of cognac colored tall boots and figured that I could not go wrong with the Celias so I ordered my usual size 9 in the saddle color (for reference my left foot is a 9, my right is 9½"). I was very surprised to find that these were big overall on my feet. I was also unhappy with the shaft height and circumference. I am 5'8" with fairly long calves and these hit almost 5" below my knees and were way too big around my 14" calves which totally bummed me out. I must say that despite the odd fit, the leather smelled yummy and they were well made as you would expect with Frye. Unfortunately this style overall just did not work for me.

I received these today. For reference, I am 5'4", and petite at 105 lbs. I was looking for a slim and sleek, simple black boot with the rubber sole for utility, but able to be dressed up. I tried these on when they came today, and they come up to my knees, which made them seem reminiscent of a fly fishing trip. They are not slim, like I thought, but are rather a little too tight and narrow in the footbed, and then they flair out at the ankle, so they can be pulled on and off. Someone who is taller, with narrow feet and seeking ankle room may have better luck with these. I am returning them today.

The quality is a disappointment, with the front and back panel of each boot is a different color from the back -- and different grain, too. One boot has a rip in the lining (it had obviously been tried on and returned) that was missed by the otherwise eagle-eyed Zappos team. Otherwise, it's true to size; a plenty of room in the toe box, and only a slight slip in the heel. Comfy in the ankle. Soft leather. I like to wear my leather-lined boots barefoot, but I'd have to wear socks with these -- otherwise there's a noticeable squeak! I ordered this boot in two colors; one is slouchier than the other but they both stand up over skinny jeans; don't know how they'd do over bare legs or leggings.

When I received these boots I was disappointed to see that they are not actually made in America, but in Mexico. While I have nothing against Mexico, I was lead to believe that this was an all American Company, including shoe construction. While the overall shoe quality seems really great, the heel of the boot is so wide and loose that my heels move all over. Despite the 9 1/2 length being perfect, the wide heels will not work for me. I will be returning these boots in search of another style and possibly a different brand.

True to size in the footbed but these boots ran big around my shin/calf. They look bulky in shaft and clunky in the foot and so look funny with long or past the knee length skirts (with shorter skirts they look cute).

I was so excited to get these boots. After a couple reviews about how they may possibly fit athletic calves, I was thrilled. However...and a big however...the information states that the calf circumference is 15 inches measured at a size 8. I ordered a size 7.5 and the calf circumference was 13.5", a drastic change from the size 8. Under normal circumstances, 15" is pushing it for my runner's calves, but these wouldn't even go past the lower part of my calf at all. Sadly, back they go. And the hunt for the perfect boots for large calves carries on.

These boots are gorgeous but cannot fit my foot into them. I am a size 7, normal width, and there is just no getting my foot into the bottom of the boot. I am quite disappointed, maybe ordering a 1/2 size up would help.

Remarkable look. Very unremarkable fit. This is the first pair of Frye boots I have tried. Weird fit. Swimming in my usual size 8 1/2. The wide part of the boot did not hit anywhere near the ball of my foot. So sad, but returning these.

I purchased these and was very pleased with them at first, but the pull on my right boot came apart three times before I finally had them exchanged (I ended up with the Kork-Ease Shawna boot and am in love). When I contacted Frye about my boot I never heard back from them. I also had problems with their ballet flats. Overall, I am simply disappointed in the quality of the boot in correlation to the price I pay for the brand that is supposed to be durable and worthwhile. I have a pair of Steve Madden boots that are at least a year older than the ones I purchased and they are going stronger than my Fryes. So, while I like the look and style of this boot, it wasn't worth the price to realize I would be taking it in to a shoesmith regularly to fix the loops on the sides. Not worth it!
