Since my feet are narrow, I have a hard time finding a shoe that fits. I ordered a 10 N. It felt and looked great, except that it was a little too short. I ordered the next 1/2 size and will send the 10 back.

I wished I would have gone with my gut and ordered a half size larger but oh well! Now I can only use these shoes for walking instead of running!

This is the ultimate shoe for people who need tons of support and stability and comfort! Nothing else on the market tops this. This color combo sure beats the industrial black and nurses whait models.

Best sneaker for me. I've been wearing Brooks for years and have no need to shop for another brand. Comfort. support and style. Wide toe room! Love this shoe.

I have worn Brooks shoes for years due to pronation and they are great. Usually, I wear the Ariel, but I decided to try the Addiction due to cost. The only negative I have noticed is that my feet sweat more in this style; other than that, it rocks.

I am not a runner, but have serious foot problems. The arthritis in my great toes is bad and causes me much pain. My Brooks shoes along with a carbon fiber metal plate and a good insert allow me to walk, work mostly pain free. I love my Brooks!

The shoes are perfect. I've been wearing Brook's for years. I have a wide foot and need an extra wide shoe and the local stores don't carry them in the extra wide. they came super fast, too.

Love it. Very comfortable. Great support. Order one size larger because they run small. They also run narrow. I had to return the first ones and reorder one size larger and wide. Kudos for Zappos, excellent service, and easy return!

I have zero metatarsal cushioning left, a bunion and other foot pain issues, need stability to control rolling inward, and use custom orthotic inserts. Brooks Addiction running shoes are the best shoes for problem feet! I order a longer and wider shoe than normal to accommodate the inserts and cushioned socks, and wear them for taking long walks on trails and concrete, and they are very comfortable. I also wear them all day for casual wear. The slightly darker color is welcome, too, since I don't really care that much for white, which turns gray soon anyway. My retired husband wears the same shoe in men's for daily wear, his "most comfortable shoes ever." We have both worn out two pairs of Brooks Addictions. Now he is envious of my beautiful new pair and will no doubt order soon.

I have never tried Brooks before, but I am sold. These shoes are great, I am 5'10", 156 pounds with high arches and wide feet. After a lot of research these shoes beat out the rest.

I have an incredibly weak left ankle and tend to experience quite a bit of pronation. I was fitted for these sneakers by a running store, and I have never looked back. This is my third purchase of the Addictions. I feel incredibly supported in them, and the thick sole has virtually eliminated instances of my ankle rolling in on itself. Also, because they are mesh, my feet do not get too hot in the DC summers, which is a big deal. I highly recommend them.

This is my 5th pair! Can you tell I love them? I'm tall and have a large foot, no problem, I can get them in a 12. I have a high arch and need a lot of support, these feel great. I pronate inward when I walk or jog. Guess what? These support the heck out of my foot and I couldn't pronate in these if I tried. :D All I have to say is Brooks better continue to make them or I will be a mess. :-) I've tried so many other shoes and absolutely nothing has ever measured up to these shoes.

Brooks can't be beat for quality and durability. However, like most other athletic shoes on the market today they run a whole size short. So buy it a size larger than you measure. And if you are a medium to narrow get the larger size in a 2A width and the heel will fit like a glove.

I'm trying to very slowly move to a less supportive shoe over a long period of time. I've previously been in Brooks Ariel so this is my next step down. This still has the great Brooks feel and I love that they offer wide widths. Like that this shoe feels lighter than the Ariels. I use orthotics so I can't comment on the arch support as I always need more. Would buy this shoe again.

Excellent shoe. My wife's favorite and her third pair. I prefer the Brooks' Beast but both are no. 1 shoes. NB doesn't compare.

The addiction 10 mesh sneaker just arrived! This is very close to the New Balance 1123 sneaker which is the only sneaker so far, that has relieved my long standing plantar fasciitis and mild pronation in the left foot. The 7 1/2 wide is true to size and this sneaker accommodates my thick insole with a good length in the laces. I ordered the grey and plum color since the blue/grey/aqua was out of stock and I do like the color. I will wear these a few days to see if my plantar pain reduces before I make the final decision to keep the sneakers. These are great sneakers since it fits well for my bunions, plantar fasciitis, mild pronation and 1/2" lift in my one sneaker. They feel pretty comfortable too, again I still need to give them time to see how my sensitive plantar adapts to the new sneakers! Brooks please keep making stability sneaker, in wide widths, with mesh, cushioning and padding! Here's hoping I find my new sneakers!

Terrible feet! That's what I have -- Bunions and bunionettes, hammer toes, extremely high arches, over-pronation and Morton's neuroma. These shoes are wonderful. The EE width fit my foot with the worst bunion just fine. I really like the look too. I go to the gym most days and these really compliment the look, and I don't look like a woman in men's shoes. My foot measures a 10 with an arch of size 11, so it can be difficult to get the right fit, and ordering online can be tough, but these fit perfect the first time! I wore them to the orthopedist's office yesterday and she complimented me on the cute shoes! That's a first.

I have worn this brand of shoe for years. I have a big old bunion that luckily doesn't hurt unless I wear the wrong type of shoe. These shoes are breathable because of the mesh. And they're not a horrible color. They fit great and I can wear them for hours right out of the box. I do wear them with an OTC arch support, which fits since the lining comes out.

Big, wide feet usually equals ugly trainers. No so with these Brooks Addiction. Just purple and silver enough to look smart and they feel great!

These are my very favorite tennis/walking shoes I have ever worn. I have had at least five versions of this great fitting shoe.

These are the perfect shoe for my feet! They have great support and ample toe room. I don't have foot pain while walking for the first time in a long time. I am very excited to have these!

My foot doctor recommended Brooks because they make shoes for all kinds of feet. This one is for flat feet. I have numerous foot problems including flat feet, narrow feet and weak ankles. These are great. I also have my own custom orthotics I put in them and they work great. They run at least half a size shorter than other shoes. I wear a 9 in Mizuno and Nike and a 9.5 in this shoe. I ordered 9.5 narrow and they are perfect. My ankles do not hurt when I wear these because they hold your foot in alignment.

I was fitted into this shoe by a professional (more than 10 years ago) and have faithfully worn them ever since. In the past few years, the sizing got wonky; I normally wear an 8.5 or 9, but in these I wear a 10! Super comfortable and supportive for those who need sturdy, straight-lasted running shoes. The colors change each year, and this aqua-on-gray is not my favorite, but it's also not "loud", so it's fine for me.

I've been dealing with a lovely case of plantar faciitis, and hobbling around like no 30-something should. I'm addicted to bare feet, and discovered that was making things worse beyond belief. As much as I hate to, I now wear Orthaheel slippers around the house (a true MIRACLE! they have helped so much) and I needed something for when I'm out and about that was also going to help instead of hinder. Most of my shoes didn't have great arch support, so I did a Zappos search for shoes for overpronation. These popped up among others, and I'd also read that Brooks shoes were excellent for this sort of thing. I checked out the Brooks website regarding sizing since I'd never owned any, and initially went with the 10.5 based on their recommendation (I normally wear 9.5 in most shoes). They were too large, so I exchanged them for 10, which is absolutely perfect. I find the sizing akin to Nike (I also wear a 10 in Nike). There is no heel slippage, and the feel terrific. The footbed truly helps with overpronation, and my heel never hurts when I wear them. I also love that two holes of the laces are on a little elastic panel, so they aren't too tight or too loose. I'd recommend these to any woman with overpronation or plantar fascia issues. And I think I'll be a Brooks customer from here on out!
