I really like these shoes! They aren't the most stylish of shoes, but they are great for walking! I love in NYC so it is a great shoe for living in the city! I have a wide toe box, so they do have a wide toe box!

I have very flat, narrow feet, and hammer toes. For years, I have been wearing Brooks' Ariel as my go to exercise shoe. However, now that the price has gone up, I thought I might give Addiction a try. So far, so good! If you are a severe over pronator, and are of average build, these should be great for you. Please keep in mind that if you use an orthotic, you will most likely need to go up a size.

Love these! They are my third pair. Very supportive and comfortable.

Great shoe. I wear an arch support with this for my extremely flat feet and history of plantar fasciitis. The shoe has a good arch and sturdy sole to support my foot.

Having some problems with an irritated nerve in one foot, I was fitted to these shoes at a shoe store recommended by my podiatrist. They have been wonderful--especially because they are light and available in Wide. I tried several other brands; these were the most comfortable. However, as you know, every foot is unique. The pair I got seemed slightly mismatched, but were OK after a few days' wear around the house.

The best running shoes I have found. I have issues with my arch (it falls when I land) and that has caused plantar fascia in my foot. This shoe has given me the right support to keep me running without injury. The price on Zappos was cheaper than any other source and shipping was quick!

Love the shoe. I walk half marathons and it is a great shoe for walkers. Lots of room in the toe box and great arch support. Pronators will love the stability.

I love these shoes! I bought 12 WW because even after bunion surgery I have seriously huge/wide feet. I wear custom orthotics which fit nicely. Most shoes hurt my feet, are too narrow in the toe box or slide up and down on my heel when I buy a man's size. These fit perfectly everywhere. I wear them to jog.

These shoes are very comfortable. I think they run true to size. I spend a lot of time walking my 3 dogs and need a comfortable walking shoe. These fill the bill for me.

I bought these on the recommendation of my sister who was on her third pair. She and I are both fitness walkers and these shoes are wonderful! The are comfortable and provide the support I need. I put orthotics in mine, so I did not put a rating on the arch support feature.

The shoes felt good right from the box. I have a problem with a flat foot and these provide excellent support. I can walk for miles and when done, my feet don not hurt! I highly recommend them.

Really comfortable. I've lost 227 lbs in the last 4+ years and I have lived in the Brooks Addiction shoes the past few years. An Orthopedic Dr. I saw for a foot problems this past year said the Addiction 9/10 shoes have "excellent motion control and stability." Super supportive and not too bad to look at every day. I mean every day, except for dressing up!

I find these shoes to have AMAZING support and I can do every activity I want in them. I wish they had more than one color to choose from. I don't think they look hip (small or colorful) but I can go for hours in them.

I bought the plum, silver, anthracite color; they are a little too shiny for my tastes but I just use them for working out. Very supportive and comfortable. They definitely live up to Brooks' reputation of being a solid, sturdy shoe for any type of physical activity.

I am a severe overpronator due to 2 torn ligaments in my ankle. I'm awaiting reconstructive surgery "someday" and I wear a fairly bulky brace in the meantime. I require a shoe that provides exceptional support while allowing space for the brace. I've tried pretty much every shoe labeled for moderate to severe overpronators under $120. This is far and away the best I've ever had. The support is great and the shoe is comfortable both on the side with the brace and the side without. My gait is improved with this shoe compared to my older Asics. The only issue was that I had to return the first pair and order a half size larger than I usually need with Brooks shoes. That was a surprise since I've worn nearly exclusively Brooks sneakers for several years but with Zappos service it is is not a problem.

This is my first pair of Brooks and I am very happy with them. They take my orthotic without having to remove the insole, though it's a little tight. I can remove insole if I want more room, but I like the extra cushion. Seems to be great for my pronation issues and very sturdy for walking. Overall seem to be well-made and just yesterday I noticed a light grey flower-scroll pattern in the gray reflective material which helps make these chunky shoes a little more feminine. I'll definitely put these up with the Saucony's I wore for years and would look at to buy again.

My foot doctor recommended Brooks because I have arthritis is my feet. I also am flat footed. These shoes are great! I need an extra wide width, so I found them at Zappos and ordered them because no store around me carried the extra wide width. My feet can be killing me, after I put these on, with in an hour they stop hurting! I would recommend these to anyone especially those that have arthritis in their feet like I do!

I have worn the various versions of this shoe for years (since they were recommended for me after foot surgery). I usually stick to the white/blue versions, but that was unavailable and I need shoes, so I went for the silver/purple. Didn't expect to like the colors, but I do. And the shoe offers the same great support that previous versions of Addiction have. I wear with orthotics and they fit perfectly. Very pleased with them!

I've had a very hard time finding a sneaker since developing a mild neuropathy in my feet. After trying on and returning many sneakers I came upon these after checking another website that has shoes for people with a variety of foot problems. I ultimately ordered from Zappos because of the ease of ordering and returning. I can't really explain why these work for me, just that finally I found a comfortable shoe that I can walk in with out my feet getting too much of the tingling pre-numbness feeling. Every other shoe I tried said large toe box, good cushioning, etc, etc, but these work. Thanks Zappos for this customer friendly way of doing business and it is much appreciated.

Loved the shoe but it just wasn't long enough. I usually wear a 9 but I had to order a 9.5 which fit. Arch support is very good.

Great shoes but they ran about a 1/2 size small on me. I'm going to exchange the 9-1/2W for a 10W.

This is my 2nd pair of Brooks Addition 10 and I am loving them just as much as the first! Great support for my fallen arches!

I have used these shoes for years and am very disappointed that now the size was too large and front toe box felt very different. ):

I can't say enough about how much I love these shoes. Truly the only pair of running shoes in which I can run due to knee surgery. The Addiction's give perfect motion control for an over-pronator like me and keeps my knee from getting tweaked and sore. I'm up to 40 miles a week thanks to these shoes! One thing...these shoes are running shoes. Not designed for everyday kind of wear. If you're looking for pure comfort and style, I don't recommend. These shoes have a very specific purpose; Motion Control for the athlete that needs it. Also, I normally wear a 9-9 1/2 but I wear these in a 10. Have been wearing the Addiction for three years now. I'm currently on my 6th pair.
