I have flat feet, heel spurs, and bunions. I don't really need a running shoe, but I do need a shoe that doesn't make me cry with foot pain. This shoe is it! My second pair of Brooks is just as great as my first. I don't even need to wear my orthotics. Now, you won't look like a fashionista, but for a long day on your feet would you rather look good and be in pain, or keep up with everyone because you can go, go, go, until the cows come home?

Runs a little smaller, so had to order 1/2 size bigger, but width was fine. Good shoe for arch support and for people with foot problems like plantar fasciitis.

The arch support is great for my foot. I have been wearing versions of this shoe for 3 years after my plantar fasciitis got out of control and for a while it was the only shoe I could wear. It helped me stay active while I healed. Now I run regularly again, and can even wear heals for extended periods of time... something that I haven't been able to do for years.

These are great shoes. I have trouble with pronation and wear orthotics and these shoes comfortably take the orthotics and I still have spring in my step. Very pleased with these shoes.

I have horrible knees and spend long days on my feet. Originally I bought this shoe in solid black because sometimes I can sneak it by as a work shoe. They felt so good I went right out and bought this shoe for walking. Couldn't be happier!

These shoes do not fit the same as the Brooks Addiction 9. I ended up giving them to my sister. It was a disappointment.

This is my fourth pair of Brooks Addiction running shoes. Several years ago, I was fitted for the first pair by a local running shop who videotaped me. I thought I wanted to try running for exercise. It didn't work out - I aggravated an old case of plantar fasciitis which was certainly not the fault of the shoes. Once that was cured, I started fitness walking and these shoes suited me just fine in this endeavor. I'm a big lady - 5' 10" and about 195# - mostly a swimmer and cyclist, and am pretty fit in spite of my size. These shoes are perfectly comfortable on my high-arch feet. I can walk (fast) forever in them. Great support and I like how they look. My only concern is that Brooks will stop making them.

I love these shoes. I think I'm on my 5th or 6th pair. I have very flat feet and bunions and these shoes fit perfectly and support my arch.

This is the shoe I have been wearing for at least 4 years. I have narrow feet and the fact you can order it in narrow - score! I wear this shoe 95% of the time as I have bunions and plantar fasciitis and it works well with my orthotics. Sometimes I wish there were "fun colors" but no dice so far.

Addiction is heavier than the Adrenaline, and the platform is wider at the arch, so it provides a lot of stability, similar to the Addiction Walker. There is also a little more wiggle room across the toes than the Adrenaline. I usually order a half-size up in running shoes, and Brooks is no exception--the 10N is too short for me.

If you over pronate, this is the shoe for you! I have worn the Brooks 'Addiction' 8, 9 and now 10 version. My knees love me for it!

Very cool-looking in person. Fit too snug. The sole of the shoe seemed substantial, but the fabric and vinyl up top seemed flimsy. Good for people who pronate which I do, but these really force you to supinate. And how would it correct anyway with such flimsy fabric? Wll return. Not going to try another size.

I previously purchased the Addiction 7 when I learned I was completely flat footed (I'm also overweight). When I started wearing them my arches stopped having little knots in them and my feet stopped hurting. When I decided I needed new sneakers I naturally bought the Addiction 10 and they are serving me as well as I expected. I wore them at Disney World for 6 days (Disney is more work than play at my age) and my feet did not hurt! The only thing I have found different is that the shoe strings seem a little shorter on the 10's. Great shoe!

After having post polio syndrome and surgery on my Achilles tendon, my arch, my ankle and more... these are the only shoes I'm able to wear comfortably. They were recommended by my Orthopaedic surgeon and I'm so thankful they exist.

This is the first pair of Brooks I have owned and it took me a few days to get used to them, but I am loving them now. They feel great on and I wear them all day and my feet never get tired of them! I always order a size up in athletic shoes and I ordered the same for these and they fit perfect. I would recommend these to anyone. I also love the colors they are very nice for the summer time. I am thinking they will be going everywhere with me this summer.

Love this shoe, it is what I was wearing everyday for a year and a half, all day long. It holds up well to hard wear. I usually walk about 3.5-4 miles everyday with my normal workday. Great shoe, and Zappos delivery was great. Very quick and efficient! Very happy with product and service.

I bought these for my girlfriend whom has just stopped wearing an orthopedic brace for her ankle for the last four years. She said that she is able to walk an 8 hour day (in NYC, no less)and feel no pain without her brace. She found them very supportive and stylish too. Thanks Zappos!

My doctor recommended shoes for overpronating feet. I work on concrete walking all day up to 10 hours and that was wrecking havoc on my knees and IT band. I have been wearing these at work for two days now with no pain! Thank you, Zappos, for your fast delivery. Thank you, Brooks, for the great shoes. Please, make more colors in this style so that I can order more!

These are the only sneakers that I can wear all day long. These shoes have great arch support but they do run small so go up a half size.

I have been walking for years and this is the best shoe ever! I have a pin in my foot as well as bunions and these shoes carry me through everything in comfort. Fit my weird feet perfectly. I will never walk in any other shoe! The Addiction 10 seems even more comfy.

I am in Love with these running shoes. My feet are severely flat and my knees and ankles suffer, meniscus issues abound. With my orthodics, the Addiction 10 made feel like I had new knees. I had no pain. I wish there were other colors. They're wonderful!

Bought these based on recommendation of podiatrist. They are half size larger than normal but fit good...minor slip in heel but not enough to make me get inserts.

The shoe is great. It runs short so I ordered a half size larger. Not sure if it will be long enough but hope so. I wear a narrow so that part is great. The shoe seems very supportive and I am sure they will feel great for my walking.
