These flats are like most flats in that they have virtually no arch support. They felt like they fit true to size. They looked very cute, but I had to return them because the backs were too snug and rubbed against my heels in a painful way. Also the shade called "Grout" was a little darker tan than I thought they would be. Might just be my monitor.

I'm not sure if the pair I received is considered to be defective, but the left shoe's heel area is very tight and will not stretch out. I've tried to hand stretch it and also wear it with thick socks, but it doesn't give at all and only digs into the back of my ankle and causes pain and blisters. The right shoe is just fine -- and I never have any lopsided issues with shoes, so I'm pretty sure my feet are not the issue here. What can I do with these now?

I really, really wanted to like these shoes as they are the rare flats that are relatively simple, attractive and available in my size (I wear a women's 12). However, after wearing them for multiple days I am forced to admit that they are beyond uncomfortable. The entire shoe is made of synthetic leather, including the footbed, which means that they don't breathe at all and are very hot. Perhaps other people wouldn't have this issue, but wearing them without some sort of socks or tights isn't an option. Additionally, the elastic that runs around the heel makes them very tight and after about an hour I found myself slipping my heel out of the shoes every chance I got. I have no clue what I will do with them now - if I could take the elastic out I might be able to wear them with tights but if that isn't possible, I will probably just donate them. Really disappointed.

I have this shoe in other multiple colors. Love it. However, the NATURAL/PLAT color is NOT a plain color like shown in the picture, it has gold sparkles on it. It shows NONE of that in the picture or description. I was very disappointed. Very unhappy, sending it back.

I wanted something I could wear walking in Paris. However, they SQUEAK! I am so disappointed. I am returning them.

This is a very cute shoe, but not comfortable at all. The sole is very thin. It also did not last long. I've had the shoe for a couple of years and wear them maybe twice a month on average. If you roll your foot at all when you step, this shoe will wear on one side or the other fairly quickly. I tend to strike on the outside of my heel, and the shoe looks horrible there now. They just seemed to wear out quickly which I would not expect from the brand and at this price. They are just "ok" in my opinion.

I have this shoe but in another color. They are fine. They are comfortable and true to size. This color was a bit unremarkable so I sent it back.

These shoes run on the small side, I had to go a size up, especially if you want to put shoe petals in to go barefoot. I love the pattern, and even the material (which others complained about being fake leather)...very cute overall. With that being said, I do not find them comfortable for average width feet, probably people with more narrow feet would be more comfortable. I do like them for the style and wear them often.

I don't care for toe cleavage so these are getting returned. That said, I expected a bit nicer quality for the price but the fabric used on the Luxe Leopard is weird and crumply. Also, the elastic is tight & not comfortable on my foot.

Cute shoe, but no tread on the bottom and runs a little small. I still love these shoes and I'd consider buying them in other colors, but I'd size up next time since these fit my feet a tad too snug. Also, I wore them once to a business dinner when it had just rained and learned the hard way that there is NO tread whatsoever on the bottom. I totally slipped on the stairs outside the restaurant and fell in front of all my colleagues! Maybe it's a testament to the shoe's cuteness that I didn't throw them out that night.

This is a cute shoe but felt at least a full size larger than marked. At first this was hard to notice -- I loved it until I wore the shoe in and my feet started slipping around inside these shoes. As others have written for the Emmie 2, the little rubber heel sits way too far back on the foot so it is extremely uncomfortable if you're on your feel for any period of time.

I didn't think these were worth the money. They aren't nearly as comfortable as some of the Born flats. I returned these the next day.

I really wanted to love this shoe! It's super cute - exactly what I wanted! But zero arch support, I could tell just trying them on that my feet and back would pay the price if I wore them for over an hour. Had to send them back.

I have gone through 2 pairs of these flats and I have so many mixed feelings. Out of the box, they fit well as they hug your feet and the elastic makes them comfortable. However, the sole is quite thin and flexible so you can feel the surfaces you walk on (ie. if there are rocks or sharp, pointy things). I have also found that they do not last me more than about 3 months, which is problematic since they are not cheap. For now, I will search for another pair of flats but if you are looking for fun, comfortable flats for just a few months, these are the flats for you.

Really wanted to like these flats. But they weren't as comfortable (Born shoes have spoiled me) and, as other customers have mentioned, your feet do start to sweat in them after only a little while. And I was just wearing them around in my home for about 20 min. Returning these shoes and going back to Born shoes!

My two main problems with this flat are 1) the heel & 2) the lining. Another reviewer noted that the heel is uncomfortable, and I thought I'd chance it anyway. The shape of the heel cuts into the sole of my foot when I walk, not painfully, but enough to irritate me during the day. The rest of the sole is cushioned well, though. I usually wear in between an 8.5-9. I tried the 8.5 in these, but my toes got cramped. The 9 fit, but it was a little loose on the heel, which aggravated the problem with the bottom of the shoe pushing into my heel. The lining is very, very soft, but it induces major foot sweat. I wanted to like them because they are very cute, but the heel and lining have made me avoid wearing the pair I bought.

Great option for a classic leather ballet flat. Bought for my teen daughter who liked its simplicity. Fit was not perfect, current size was a little snug but next size up had gaps around the sides of the foot. Hoping the leather stretches a bit. No arch support so not great option for plantar issues.

Ehhh, I was not impressed. Sure they are cute... but you are paying for the name brand. These had paper thin soles, felt like I was walking on thin cardboard. My true size is an 8, and these were a tad too large. If I had ordered an 7 1/2 the 1st time, I may have just kept them because they are very stylish...but I do not think I will be exchanging them, just getting a refund. I do love my Zappos though! Ordered them abut 4pm one evening and had them the next day!

I was so excited to see that these flats came in wides because they are really cute, comfortable, real leather and affordable. I have a pair of snakeskin flats in non-wides that I put up with pinched toes because they are so nice. Now I can finally replace my trashed cheap flats with quality shoes! Unfortunately my excitement ends there. I bought them in nude and black. The black had a weird textured part right on the top, but I kept them since my size was out of stock. The nudes were perfect and fit great, so I packed them as office shoes on a snowy day. I wore them for about six hours, walking around a typical office environment of carpeting and tile floors. When I took them off to switch into my boots, they were a mess! There were rips on the bottom seaming, a scratch mark like a cat had clawed them and they were so dirty it looked like I had been wearing them for six months, not six hours. I fear that the Nappa leather is simply too thin and soft to be durable in any sense, and the nude color shows every single mark. If Lucky Brand could make them from tougher leather and continue making wides (I see most out of stock right now), I would buy them in every color. They are that comfortable and cute. Sigh. If you buy light colors, definitely use a leather protecting treatment on them first. Zappos customer service made it right, as they always do!

These are very plain shoes, which I expected when I purchased them for my daughter. They run very small. She could barely squeeze her feet into the shoes size she normally wears, and then you could see the base of each of her toes. We will have to return them, as they are not true to size.

Shoe looks cute and has a comfortable sole. However, it rubs a lot on the back of my heel and squeaks, apparently from my toe mail polish rubbing against the interior. Overall, decent shoes for the price, but I wouldn't seek them out again.

These shoes are really comfortable right out of the box and are a really cute style. But after wearing them all day at work my feet hurt so bad I can't wait to take them off. They have no support and not much of a lining. Your big toe rubs at the front of the shoe and I'm thinking will eventually wear a hole through the lining (like a previous reviewer mentioned). These are cute and work okay for a few hours, but I would return them if I hadn't already worn them all day a few times.

Love the look but size 7 is too small. Tight on my toe. And though it is upper leather, the lining is man-made so my feet would probably sweat. Stitching on heel so great though. I would have kept them if my toes had room (I have ingrown toenails). Heel slips on 7.5.

I have this same exact shoe (in brown) in an 8. Received the black in an 8 and it was 'way' too big, slipping off my heel when in took a step, etc. So, I sent them back for a 7-1/2. I wore them yesterday and they were really small, cutting into my heels. My stupid bad luck? Inconsistent workmanship? I don't know. But other than that I love the look and overall 'quality' of the shoe. Love the brown - but don't know if I can risk ordering another pair with the sizing issue....

I am tall and skinny so I love a good flat! I ordered these and they sat in my closet for the longest time so I ended up giving them to my mom. They are comfortable and well made, but I felt the were a little wide. I was looking for a very minimal black flat and the design of the shoe was too awkward for my foot. My feet are narrow and boney and the shoe looks like it swallowed my foot. When I stand with them on it gapes open on the sides and you can see the inside of the shoe. I need a tighter fitting shoe! I really wish they would have worked because they are super cute and you cant beat the price!
