These running shoes were everything I hoped! Good arch support, padding, comfort, lightweight, and true to size. The Customer Service Rep was extremely helpful, too! I'll be back.

Great shoe! I am a mild over pronator who needs cushion in a running sneaker. It took me a few runs to transition from my old sneaks from a different company to Asics. I will definitely buy Asics again.

I am a very new runner, and I wanted separate shoes for work that would keep my feet comfy and not inhibit the anatomy of my foot for when I run. I work at a hospital where I stand or walk for almost 12 hours at a time. I've always worn Asics before, but since these and a pair of Asics GEL-2270, I've had a nagging pain in my arches. Within 3 hours of wearing these, I feel like my arches are being crushed. I had to loosen the laces to the point my heels felt like they were slipping out, yet the rest of my foot felt tingly on the bottoms! The sole is very cushy, but I just couldn't keep them snug without crushing my arches. I felt as though these were a little longer than I needed them to be, but just too tight on the tops of my feet. I usually wear normal width shoes and have normal arches according to the footprint test. But, if you do have higher arches, these are not for you! Maybe wide width would work better!

I got these in the blue and white this winter and have used them many times. The pop of color is fun. They are the most supportive out of all of the other running shoes that I have bought over the years. There is lots of cushion everywhere, not just the heels, which makes them different from other shoes that I have tried. My only complaint is that the backs of the shoes must be higher up on my heels, because I cannot wear the shorter ankle socks like I used to. They rub the skin off my heels if I do and Band-Aids will not cut it. That's the only con. I ordered my regular size, choosing not to go up half a size and they are just right for me, even when my feet swell a bit.

I reordered the wide because toe box was not wide enough. I could not tell a difference in 9M and 9W. It was like it was the same shoe.

On another foot, this shoe would be a five star, but I have pronation and this shoe allowed my foot to turn outwards, though my pronation is inwards, so go figure. Comfortable for around the house, but not for long walks on hard surfaces. Everyone at the gym thought the shoe was very pretty. I wear a 10½AA or AAA.

Love the shoe but feel it has issues. Size 7 wide -- a little narrower in the toe box than years past. Tread and bottom of shoe wearing down and I've only had them for a short while.

I'm a huge fan of the Gel Nimbus. I've been wearing them for almost 10 years, now, and while there have been a few minor mistakes along the way, the shoes have consistently delivered a pleasantly cushioned ride, perfect for marathon training. My one constant complaint has been the hideous color schemes Asics comes up with. I was so glad to see the black version of the 13s. I just saw the colors for the 14s, horrible! I may hurry and order a couple more black 13s before they disappear!

Love my Asics! I actually ordered a N, for narrow, this time and what a difference! These are a great shoe ESP if you have a narrow last and heel box and find yourself slipping a lot in regular shoes or tying them down super tight.

The stitching on the inner, front of the top part of the shoe was looking a little loose when I got them. Within 5 light wearings, the stitching was ripped out and the mesh fabric flaps out from the rest of the shoe. Comfortable, but terrible in terms of durability.

I've gotten these shoes for years, but on this pair the toe box is noticeably smaller and the material seems a bit flimsy. If you plan to get them, order a size larger than your normal. I'm sending mine back.

First, I would like to mention that I have been buying shoes in the Nimbus line for YEARS now. They have always been an amazing shoe and they kept getting better and better until v13!!! I think that they may have sacrificed weight for quality in this last version. They do seem lighter than v12, but there are multiple issues with this shoe that I have never seen in earlier models. First of all, within several weeks of wearing these shoes, holes developed in the lining by the heals which has caused discomfort. Secondly, the toe box is more narrow than past versions which has lead to several big toe blisters. Also, the laces no longer pull smoothly through the eyelets which can lead to pressure points while working out. I really, really hope that Asics reconsiders the direction it is going in with this line! I haven't had to think about which running shoes to buy for many years now, but I think I will have to give it more consideration in the future.

I have to say I've always been an Asics girl. I've tried other brands and they have been okay but I always go back to Asics. That being said, I am very disappointed in the Gel-Nimbus 13's. They are fine for a run of 10 miles or less, but anything more gets me a blister on the ball of my foot behind my big toe. I love the look and feel of them otherwise but am very unhappy that I paid this much for shoes that I can only wear for shorter runs.

I have slightly wide feet (I didn't get my last pair of Asics in Wide and they fit fine). I decided to get these in wide since I sometimes have issues with my pinky toe getting squished - These are narrow, even in wide! I love Asics, all of my past running shoes are Asics, but the Gel-Nimbus are just too narrow, so I am sending them back!

I wear a women's 10 wide. This is what I ordered and it felt like a regular width. Runs small and narrow. I usually wear Saucony as they definitely run more true to size, but wanted to give these a try.

This shoe is comfortable and can be run in right out of the box; however, I'm not sure it's the shoe for me. I had the Nimbus 12 and had no problems so I upgraded to the 13's. I ran in them for 2 months and the inside of the shoe started to tear. Zappos was awesome and replaced them with no questions. But my second pair is doing the same thing. And they seem to be wearing a lot faster than the 12's. I am a neutral runner and I primarily run on the street. I'm not sure what gives on the tears on the inside and why they aren't as comfortable as the 12's were after getting some mileage. I guess I need to try a different style.

I loved the style and color of these running shoes. I normally wear a 7.5 Medium. The Nimbus 13 feels true to size, but they are cut too narrow in the toe box. They do not feel like a medium width. Unless one has a narrow foot, I would pass on this style/model footwear.

2nd pair I've had of these, but was disappointed in that the toe wore in the mesh and both shoes now have holes. Only thing they are good for now is yard work.

I had really bad luck with these shoes. Both toes ripped out at the mesh and I am not a runner or much of an exerciser at all really! I paid a lot of money for shoes that barely lasted 5 months. I live Asics but was really disappointed with these.

I have owned 3pairs of the Nimus 12's, so I bought these. I got a blood blister on the side of my foot. Won't buy these again!

Wow, not for me. I have been on a quest for a wide fore footed front padded 9.5 B sneaker that I can walk in. I have read tons of reviews most of which are geared to runners. I want to get back to walking but have had two Morton Neuroma surgeries and think I have nerve damage as a result so my left foot is very touchy. I tried these on and took them off immediately. First, though the forefoot cushioning may have been there to some extent, I was extremely bothered by the tightness through the instep and top of my foot near the ankle. It felt like someone had bound the middle of my foot. It was just strange. So, back it went. As a side note I also go the Saucony Triumph 9 the week before and though it is not perfect either, I have managed to walk about two miles a day (in two sessions) in those which is a big thing because I am usually lucky if I can keep a shoe on for more than 20 minutes and have wood clogs for my main shoe now. Everyone said how Asics are tops in cushioning but I would have to disagree in this case. I am very hesitant to try another Asics.

I don't know if anyone else experienced this, but this shoe was very poorly constructed. Within two weeks of purchase, the toe box mesh wore completely through. I returned them directly to Asics for a replacement pair and within two weeks the exact same thing happened. I always buy my running shoes a half size larger than my true size, so I had plenty of room - this is just plain poor construction. I've worn Asics running shoes for years and this never happened to me before. Huge waste of big money!

This is my fourth pair of the Asics Gel Nimbus shoes. They have always fit great so I made a huge mistake and threw them in my suitcase and put the box in the trash and headed off to vacation. When I put them on to go for a run they felt tight. After a couple of miles, my feet went numb. They are completely unwearable. Zappos said they would forgive me for this one goof but I could not in good conscience send them back as new. So, lesson learned. Today I went to the store and bought new shoes.
