I got them for my mom, she needed a good walking shoe for over pronation and this rated well for that. She did fine walking with her walker but when she only had her cane she said they felt to heavy and was worried she would trip. Thanks Zappos for the awesome return system.

So, this shoe isn't going to win anyone any compliments. This shoe is kinda boxy and looks old lady-ish. It is, however, excellent for my plantar fascitis. I wear them when I walk my dog, and my feet feel excellent. Excellent support, and my inserts fit perfectly. If you happen to have plantar fascitis AND bunions AND hammer toes, you might want to stock up on bandaids until you break them in a bit.

I was looking forward to trying this sneaker to help my plantar fasciitis but it was not wide enough to fit comfortably. The seam over the bunion area also rubbed my bunion, so I will have to try another style. Thanks Zappos for your outstanding customer service!

I really expected to love this shoe. I love the cushion and arch support of Vionic. These, however, had seams that hit my bunion. The rubbing would be unbearable. Back to the drawing board.

My first try at Vionic... the length was a bit long but hard to tell where big toe ended, hard cap. A little loose for my foot so returning. Did like the suppport and pitch.

These feel great - nice arch support and helped my plantar fasciitis/heel pain immensely! However, I feel like the shoe had no breathing room. The toe box is roomy enough, but the shoe overall is a snug fit, and my feel felt quite hot after an hour of indoor walking. Wish it had a mesh type top at least... Sticking with Vionic, but trying another to see if my feet don't feel so hot in those!

Shoes are a bit clunky and stiff, but they could break in. They were cut too high for my foot therefor painful along the instep

They were just what I wanted, but a little too small. My big toe hit the side of the front and it was uncomfortable.

Felt a bit snug, though I ordered the wide size. I wanted to return and then order a half size up, but apparently that's not offered, because it wasn't even on the size list. So it will just be a return then.

Helped me get back to walking with my PF. A bit clunky looking and stiff.

Just had to say that these shoes are wonderful. I just bought another pair in black so I can wear them always. They have pretty much cured all my foot and knee woes. The support is perfect. I am annoyed with other shoes that assume you will buy and use a different orthotic. If I'm paying good money for a shoe, it should already have the support I need. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because they look kind of orthopedic. Oh well. It's worth it to be able to walk pain free!

Thought I'd try this shoe, since I've had such good luck with Vionic sandals. I've been wearing a running-type shoe, not leather, so I found this shoe too stiff for me, and I could tell it probably would be too warm, as well. I went with the Brooks Ghost 9 instead.

These shoes do help with Planter Fascistis. However, the right shoe immediately caused a blister on my little toe due to roughness inside. And I also have to implement arch with additional inserts as arches are not as supportive in shoes as in years past.

This seems to give arch support but it is rather"old lady" looking.

This shoe is very comfortable. I have flat feet and I have a job where I stand and walk a lot. I am very happy with this shoe. I noticed a decrease in my foot and hip pain the first day.

I've bought several vionic shoes and flip flops. These were just too stiff for me to wear. Thank you to Zappos for easy returns!
