I've had the shoes 2 weeks and walked in them about 8-10 times for about 45 minutes each. Initially they were tight and uncomfortable but have loosened up. My podiatrist recommended I continue to wear Vionics for my issue. I can see the difference when wearing them and am hopeful that they will loosen up a bit more.

I LIKE THE SHOE BUT WISH IT HAD MORE OF AN ARCH SUPPORT. I AM GOING TO HAVE TO PUT EXTRA INSERTS DUE TO MY FLAT FEET. OTHER THAN THAT THEY ARE VERY COMFORTABLE.

These required no break in time for me. I was able to put them on and wear with comfort! These run shorter than the Stamina I also love so I'm marking these as half size small. That being said unless you are at the top end of a size it won't matter because of the rounded toe and ample toe box area. I run a size 10 in most shoes but sometimes I find I need a 10.5 which is not always offered. In the Stamina size 10 I have a lot of toe room left in front of my toe. I even wonder if perhaps a half size down in that pair might work. However in this WALKER CLASSIC model I have just enough clearance in the shoe that these are comfortable. No room to spare though if I go down stairs and my foot slides forward I feel the inside end of the shoe. Nothing uncomfortable but still something I feel should be pointed out. Lots of toe box room not cramped at all. Good arch support and a small amount of cushion near the balls of the feet. I would say slightly more cushion than the stamima (my opinion) Overall a great shoe to walk in comfortably. I have PF and med/high arches and these are very comfortable with no pain at all! The ONLY reason I don't rate these a 5 is I do prefer a less round look and more cushion overall. However you can't go wrong with these. If I could rate 4.5 I would.

I really like this shoe. It has some suede and is a very comfortable walker. The color was my deciding factor because I want to look less like a medical case and more like a fashionable casual person. I do think it has a little less support than the 401s but is still very good.

Overall the shoes are comfortable, supportive (I suffer from over-pronation) and should work well for daily walks (so far I've only worn them around the house). The length of the shoes is true to size and the toe box is comfortably wide, however they seem a little wide at the middle of the foot and also bit too deep. I improved the fit by putting a 1/4" insole underneath the shoe's provided arch-supporting insole. There is a leather piece on the tongue that bears the Vionic logo which is rather annoying because it stiffens the tongue and lies right under where you tie the knot in the laces and prevents one from tying the laces fully tight. One could tie the laces underneath the logo piece, but then there is no lacing at the top of the shoe.

whenever I buy Vionics I know my feet are in for a treat. These are ok but the tongue annoys me a bit. It is a little too big for me and digs into my foot. I also wish they were a little lighter. The arch support is good but honestly if I didn't wear them outside I would have taken advantage of Vionic's wonderful 30 day refund policy.

I purchased this shoe to wear to work daily. I work approximately 41 hours a week and are always on my feet. I can feel an improvement over the other shoe I was wearing. I would recommend these shoes.

Fit great right out of the box and am loving the color. I walk on cement all day and need a sneaker that supports my feet and my walker classic do it for me!

The shoes came about a week after I broke my ankle and bone in my leg. A cast and no weight bearing on the R leg. The shoes were ordered to help me with plantar fasciitis in my left heel. So I am able to wear the L shoe only which is giving me great relief for the tenderness in my left heel. I will probably have to order another pair by the time I am fully healed. Which I will gladly do.

Shoes are great. Had to return the initial pair I ordered because the shoe was rubbing on the top left side of my foot. Return process was super easy. Got a wide width and it fixed the issue. Shoes would be perfect if they went up to an 11 1/2. Just need a tad more room at the top...but they go up to only an 11.

Severe plantars fascitis in one foot. My pt recommended Vionics so I gave them a try. Although the pain is still there this sneaker has made it more tolerable and I can last longer on my feet.

I have had 3 pair of these walking shoes and they are so very comfortable. I do wish they came in other more fashionable colors. I only gave them a 4 star rating instead of 5 stars because of the limited color selection.

I usually wear a size 9 or EU 40. The shoes feel fine, but the label says size 9, EU 41. Usually EU 41 is too big, these seem a bit long in the toe box however the arch feels right. I can wear a heavier sock and these seem fine.

I have other Vionic shoes and sandals. All of which have been amazing! I ordered these for winter since my others are thinner and made for runners and I wore them out! I received them and immediately put them on. I was saddened as they were a full size too big and the arch was more towards my heel. There was no way I could wear these. I got online and looked at the fitting and according to the chart I did order the correct size. Unfortunately that size was too big. All my other shoes are the same size. I'm not sure why these are so different. I sent them back in exchange for a size smaller and am anxiously awaiting for them to arrive. Vionics are the only shoes that help with my hip and back pain. Waiting a little longer for the correct size is a small price to pay to live pain free.

Been wearing these for about a week and they already have made such a difference in reducing the foot leg and back pain I've been experiencing for years! Only issue(s); 1st the laces in the top notch had to be redone as they were too difficult to loosen when removing sneakers. 2nd they could use a wee bit more in the arch support area. 3rd foot bed could be a wee bit softer maybe a touch of memory foam gel.... Overall I would buy these again as I like the fact I actually feel more stability and am able to stand longer while cooking without the constant foot leg and back pain I normally would have. So thank you! RC

Shoe is leather so it was stiff and took a little while to break in. But wearing it a couple of hours a day for a couple of weeks was enough to make it comfortable. Love the support and how stable it makes me feel on my feet.

I bought this shoe because I have a bunion. Sometimes I need to wear a wide but in this shoe I find a 6 regular is plenty wide in the toe box. I use this shoe when I walk 3 times a week with friends.

These walking shoes do not have the cushiness i like to have. The foot bed is a little hard but the arch support is good. So i just added a soft insole and now they are fine.

Bought these over a year ago to combat my plantar fasciitis and they helped so much! They fit like no other sneaker I've had (little larger in the toe), but the extra room actually did not bother me. My foot stayed in the place it should and then my toes did not rub against the edge (I have a long arch). They are definitely bulky but they get the job done. They've actually stayed whiter than I would have expected after a year of use, too. I recommend using the Mr. Clean's Dry Erase sponges to keep them as white as possible (I've only had to clean them twice so far). My only wish is that they were slightly more on-trend looking and that the shoelaces were shorter. I think these were worth their expense and currently I do not see a need to replace them yet.

I've been a big fan of the Walker Classic. I recently purchased a pair in black. The leather holds up very well and projects my feet.
