I have been buying running shoes because I thought they would be more comfortable, but that has stopped since I purchased these Orthaheel walkers. The minute I put them on I knew these shoes were perfect for walking. I have been wearing them since day 1 and still love them. I have put orthodics in all my shoes and I did with this shoe and there was no pain or discomfort when walking. If you wear orthodics you will need to order a "wide" to make it work. I love these shoes and when I need to order another pair I will order another pair of Orthaheel Walkers! Thank you for making this shoe for the serious walker!

This shoe seems to be running at least 1 full size larger than what I usually wear. Plenty of room in the toe box.

I have 11 AA flat feet and weak ankles. Shoe is just what I need. My ankles are not tired or sore after wearing these for a day. It seems to hold up better than the other popular brands. Wish I could find a dress shoe that fit so well.

Finally, Walkers with the support that others claim to have. These are absolutely fabulous, much better than the brand that I shall not name that advertises on TV. I have worn the Orthaheel sandals for close to a year, so I have had time to become accustomed to a support that feels somewhat hard at first, until you realize that the end result is that your feet do nit hurt anymore. The toe box is properly sized in the wide width as well.

Bought these for work. I have multiple foot issues, and these are by far the most comfortable walking shoe I've ever had. I knew I had to have them after two pair of Orthaheel sandals. They are full leather, but aren't too hot. Great arch support, plenty of toe room and no pressure on my high instep. They are a little boxy and stiff looking, but that's a small price to pay for the comfort of this shoe.

I really like the shoes. It is nice to find shoes that have arches high enough for me. I had to order a full size smaller than what I normally wear. The only complaint I have is that the insoles are quite hard.

I have suffered with plantar fasciitis for a year, there are days I can hardly walk. I generally wear a 6-6 1/2, so I ordered a 6 1/2 as I like to wear a thicker sock in an athletic shoe or boot and the fit was perfect with ample room in the toes and no heel slippage. The first 3 days I could only wear about an hour and was painful and the arch support felt like I was walking on a tennis ball, hard as can be and too much support, but I can now wear them for much longer and the pain from plantar fasciitis is really improved and I can get up and walk without hobbling. I also like how light weight the shoes are. For the first time in a year, I'm hopeful I can get my life back and I will be looking for more Orthaheel shoes.

I'm so glad I found Orthaheel shoes. These are the only shoes that don't end up slanting to the sides due to the support. They are very comfortable and highly recommend esp if your feet/ankle turn inwards when you walk.

I purchased a black pair of these shoes for work this past summer, deciding to try Orthaheel because of a bad foot (the chiropractor thought it was a mix of Achilles tendinitis and plantar fasciitis). These shoes were true relief! They feel "wrong" at first, but once your feet readjust themselves to how they should be, these shoes feel amazing! I have come back now to purchase a white pair as a Christmas gift to myself. Trust me, if you have foot issues, these are the way to go. It took a full year to walk without pain, but after I switched to these Walkers, the healing process happened much faster.

The Orthaheel walker is helping my feet or at least my feet are not hurting while I walk. The width in the toe is a little wide but not enough to order down a size. I wish the style could be more like a hiking shoe, they do look like orthopedic shoes. I am happy I ordered these shoes and so are my feet.

I took a chance and ordered the Orthaheel Walker because my plantar fasciitis was killing me, and these shoes promised heel pain relief. I usually wear New Balance, 9½W, so I ordered the same size. They fit right out of the box! After about two months of wearing only these shoes, my heel pain has lessened. It may be that time heals all heels (wounds!), but the support in these shoes really helped.

Great choice. I was able to wear them for a long period of time immediately! I will definitely go back and buy another color. True to size, which I appreciated because I need wide she's, due to a botched foot surgery. Love them!

I love my Orthaheels! I was having awful foot pain due to my feet breaking down, I guess. I am very active, with walking and weight lifting, and was worried that I was going to have to find other ways to try to stay in shape (I turned 50 this year). I put these on, and the pain was gone by the second day. I have recommended them to all my friends, and my mom!

Love this shoe. Orthoheels have made a huge difference in my foot comfort and I am glad to add the Walker to my collection. Walked 2.5 miles today and my feet feel great. I where a 9.5 but ordered a 10 and it fits perfectly.

First, if you're looking for great style, keep looking. These make my feet look like 2 white bricks. The only time I wear them is when I'm on my elliptical and they are great support. I developed plantar fasciitis from falling arches and these shoes have eliminated that problem. My only issue is I wish they had a little bit more cushion in the ball of my feet.

Love these shoes! Arch support & cushioning make shoes so comfortable! Pink on shoes makes very pretty. Plenty of room in toe area! Ordered 10W as have bunion & plenty of room! Keeps ankle supported to prevent pronation. Going to order another pair!

I'm one my second pair. Lasted about 2 yrs but I wore them almost every day, working, gym, hiking, farming. unbelievable support. Took a day or two get used to them, but didn't want to take them off once I did. True to size - outstanding shoe.

Of all the shoes that I have tried, these are the best! I feel so much more secure in my balance and so much stronger in my step. I will get another pair. I have worn Earth shoes, but these are even better.

I love the orthaheel walkers. This is my second pair. The arch support means that you can wear them all day without your feet feeling tired. They run true to size. They are the best sneakers I have ever had.

I have fasciitis and I work standing and moving around in clinical lab hard floors all day. These are excellent sneakers for those who need foot relieve. I used them today for the first time and what a relieve. Seems like I worked on clouds. No foot pain whatsoever. Thank you Zappos.

I love these shoes... I feel much more stable as I am walking...my feet no longer pronate like they did before. I would certainly order them again.

I have had the shoes for about a month now. I have a chronic case of plantar fasciitis and even though it is not gone yet, I can now walk in these shoes without pain. I ordinarily wear a 7.5B but ended up with a 7 wide. Unless you have a particularly narrow foot, I would try the Wide first. I did put inserts in to make the bottom a little bit softer.

I purchased this shoe about a year ago. Since it wore out, I purchased another pair. I used it for speed-walking on my treadmill. It has great support but I would prefer it to be all mesh instead of leather. Super fast shipping!

Love these shoes. Very comfortable. I have been doing some exercises for my feet so can't say that it is just the shoes that have helped my feet. There are times that I can only stand or walk for about two hours at a time. But will definitely buy another pair. When my exercise shoes wear out, will by a pair for that.

Wonderful shoes! I did have to get a 1/2 size smaller than my other tennis shoes. Will be the only tennis shoe I will ever buy from now on. The best customer service department I have ever seen.
