Shoes are great. Made well, true to size, great arch support. I am returning because with socks they might be too tight when my feet swell. (Arthritis, no fault of the shoe)

Awesome shoe! I have horrible feet and these are great. I love to walk for exercise but need a good supportive shoe that has a great fit to my foot. These are those. I do over 15000 steps a day and have had no problems what so ever with these. Highly recommend for those with bad feet and backs. I also wear vionic sandals and have not had an issue with my feet. If i try to wear flat non arch support shoes the plantar fasciitis starts up.

NB higher end shoes are great also. Have always worn them but decided to try something different.

Since I now am quite flat- footed and pronate, finding the most comfortable sneaker that suits my foot and orthodic is more challenging. This seems great: bit taller, roomy toe box and higher heel for my narrow heel. First Vionic, looks promising.

They feel great but they look too bulky on my size 6 1/2, medium width feet. I reluctantly have to return them. My width runs medium - narrow at heels. The wide U-shaped throat limits how much you can snug them by tightening the laces. I have been happy with many previous pairs of Vionic shoes & sneakers and I am hoping they come up with some alternative design that will meet by fit needs better.

Previous reviews and my own experience indicated these shoes ran long, up to a full size longer. It appears they have been sized down to be more true to size. I ordered a 7, as I have before when they were sold under "Orthaheel," but that turned out to be a mistake. I am returning and ordering one color in size 8 and one color in size 7.5. I'm not sure which one will be the correct fit. I normally wear a size 8 for other athletic shoes. I do love the support and comfort of these shoes. I have purchased many pairs in the past just because I was afraid they would no longer be available and they have saved me from pain for years so that I can continue to walk many miles every day. Any version that is more stylish seems to lack the total comfort and support that this style provides.
I'd also recommend:
Nothing is as good as Vionic/Orthaheel for plantar fasciatis.

I have 2 pairs of these, the best walkers I've ever tried. OK, they're not flashy, but they're comfortable, have great arch and over-pronation support, and are water resistant. Highly recommend.

These are my second favorite pair of tennis shoes by Vionic, my first is VIONIC Drift Satima Lace-Up. These ones have good support for around the foot, however the Drifts have more cushion on the bottom of the shoe which is why I find them more comfortable and would recommend them both.

The shoes are everything that is summed up on Zappo's. The toe box is wide so there's lots of room for your tootsies to spread out. My feet feel supported at all times and the heel does not slide up and down. This is a fall/winter shoe--my feet felt very warm after being used to the summer mesh sneakers.

They aren't the most beautiful shoes in the world, but boy are they comfy. They took me about a week (about four 8-mile walks) to break them in - they just rubbed a bit on the left little toe. I wear an 11M and that's what I ordered. I live in NYC and average 6 miles a day and while Sketchers are comfy, they provide no support and I started getting heel pain, so I researched these and found that they were designed with arch and heel support specifically for people with plantar fasciitis. And boy can you feel it. Like your heel is being held by a cloud. And my arch, which is fairly high, feels supported. And I don't see any pronation that I was starting to see in my other shoes.

I never thought I'd get excited about a silly pair of shoes, but I had to write this: For the longest time,(years) I've been putting off a walking routine because simply, my feet hurt. I suffer with fibromyalgia, and my feet just hurt-all the time. I had tried other athletic shoes, but they were just so-so. No other brand made me want to jump in my shoes and get out there! So after probably 2-3 years, I decided I had enough of the sofa. A google search of 'what are the best walking shoes', I came across an article in a fitness magazine on the top rated walking shoe. Among several others the Vionic was the top rated based on fit, arch support, roomy toe box, and overall comfort. So I decided to spring for the hundred bucks and go for it. After all, I hadn't had a decent pair of walking shoes in years. Well, it's been hot and humid where I live, so I waited till a cooler evening and see if these shoes would help me get interested in going for a walk again. I am SO pleased to report: These are the real deal! Right off the driveway, I did my neighborhood of 2 full miles and there was a genuine spring in my step and I was able to keep up a true momentum simply based on the comfort, support and bounce in these shoes! Far be it for me get out in the morning either and go for a walk, but this morning, I did!! I am a 63 yr. old gramma but still active with grandkids. I know that these shoes will help me get into a regular walking routine so I can drop a few pounds and just feel better. Thank you Vionics for this great design and style and to Zappos for the one day delivery!

Comfortable right out of the box. I bought these based on the reviews of others who suffer from plantar fasciitis. I spend most of the day on my feet and climbing ladders, and these kept me relatively pain free for most of the day. I'm used to buying New Balance and Asics in 7.5W but I recommend a half size smaller. I will be looking at other styles in Vionic

I have had surgery on both feet. Both feet are in great shape post-surgery, but both get tired and sore when I walk a lot. NOT with these shoes! I mall shopped all day with my granddaughter and could have gone another round if it weren't for the rest of me!

This is my second pair of Vionic Walkers. They are sturdy and well made. The soles are great and provide a lot of support (not too thin) The arch support is great! My old work shoes were a 6 1/2, but I can wear these is a 6, because of the correction in the alignment of the knee, ankle and foot. Love Vionic so much, I also ordered a pair of sandals!

I like to compliment Zappos for their excellent customer service. A costly pair of Walker shoes were faulty within three month. I told them this and I provided the receipts and details to a very competent person - and - within two days I had a replacement pair, while the faulty shoes were still on their way!

I had to return this shoe to exchange it for a wide size, so I'd say it runs a little small in that regard. I am satisfied with my purchase. I'm very impressed and appreciative with the service provided by Zappos. It is exceptional!

I bought these shoes for my sister who suffers from knee pain. She said these were the best shoes she's ever worn. Actually, this was my second purchase after initially buying her a pair in 2013. She's still wearing the old pair, but I wanted to gift her with new shoes to wear to work.

I wrote earlier how ugly and hard to put on these shoes were. However, I never mentioned how wonderful Zappos is. I never buy shoes anywhere else. Zappos is the best. Service, and professionalism is paramount with this wonderful company. High praises!

My Physical Therapist just told me about Vionics. I have no arches in my feet. The orthoheel part of the back of the footbed and the arch keep my feet really comfortable. I usually wear and 8 and that's what fit with socks. I did have to elevate my foot a little to keep my heel from slipping so put a gel insert underneath the Vionics' insert. I bought 4 pairs of Vionics after I learned about the and have been pleased with all of them. I have worn these and some "sneaker" looking ones the most and swear by them. I haven't worn the sandals yet but the flats fit fine with a foam insole under the vionics insole. That's just what works for me.

Wow, these shoes are amazing. I put them on and right away they felt good. I bought wide, and they really are wide - plenty of room in the toe box. I always buy a half size larger in walking or running shoes, and I did for these, and it was the right size. I don't really like the look of somewhat shiny leather, but these also a bit of mesh and other material breaking up the leather, so they look pretty decent. Well, I have black, so really it can't look bad. But still it's more stylish than some of the other choices. Since I mostly walk, I switched from Brooks Addiction, which have really declined in comfort, to these walkers, and I am extremely happy I did. I can feel the arch support - it's the best I've experienced, and I've tried many, as a moderate over-pronator. Really there is nothing I don't like about these. They're even less expensive than running shoes. I will definitely buy these again.

This is, without a doubt, the best shoe I have ever worn! Excellent arch support, not too stiff, nice cushion. My feet are thanking me every day I wear them to walk and so do my knees. I will definitely buy them again.
