I have very high arches and the Vionic Walker has the best arch support so far. I've tried the Brooks Ghost 11, and the Vionic Walker is better in regards to arch support. I wear size 7 and these fit true to size. My only concern is that when I walk slightly down hill, the top of my big toes hit the top of the shoe but otherwise, there is plenty of room. Also, the arch support hits the bottom of my foot slightly behind my arch but still feels like the support is there. I think I'm going to keep these because I don't think I'm going to find anything else that has a higher arch support other than my own orthotic inserts. I can't answer on how stable these will be in regards to rolling my ankle. I'd have to get them dirty and worn to figure that out. I hope they work.

The fit and size were good. They are a substantial yet light weight shoe. Great for standing and walking for a long time and great waterproofness. I took them to Ecudadour and walked alot and they were great as well as good for my catering work. Not super stylish but I was looking for soemthing that was great for my foot and these fit the bill.

Big toe box. Slid off my heal some even though tied fairly tight. Nice sneaker. Nice arch support, not too big. Regretfully sending back. Thanks Zappos!

Feel really great but waiting for 1/2 size larger before final committment. Really is great to be able to try and compare different sizes without spending a fortune on shipping and return charges!!!

These shoes are comfortable from the first time I put them on my feet. I have a ligament inflammation and arthritic arches and they are comfortable.

This is my third pair in as many years and I have yet to find a more supportive shoe that can take the miles these shoes do. I have plantar fasciitis and high arches, and I live in NYC, where I walk sometimes up to 10 miles in a day, so shoes are VERY important to my health. These shoes keep your feet in alignment and give you the heel and arch support you need. Literally the only criticism I have is that I was hoping they would have smoothed out the seams on the inside as they still take a while to break in and rub blisters/callouses on my pinky toes for several months before I can wear them without bandaids. I’ve tried putting moleskin on the inside, but it didn’t help. The wide is a bit too wide for my heel, but the medium fits perfectly other than the seams rubbing my pinky toes. I’m a size 11 and the 11 fits me true to size.

Great footbed. Lots of support for my plantar fasciitis and overpronation. Bulky hot uppers that have inseams that you can feel. Not fashionable. Reminds me of prescription orthopedic shoes. I’ll still keep wearing them though because you can’t beat the support.

Shoes were light and soft on my feet but felt large even with thick soft. Apparently when the removable insert was placed in the right shoe it was creased because I stubbed my toe on it. shoe now days don't seem to have eyelets for the laces. I have feet that are wider in the front with narrow heels.

I could feel the support built into this entire shoe, supporting the sides of my foot, ankle and arch. It also, however, felt a full size too small.

The concept is neat. It almost floats your foot. However, both with and without my orthodic, my ankle is being allowed to pronate. They are comfortable otherwise. Snug fit where I almost thought they were half a size too small and too narrow, however they adjusted on their own to no pinching. I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and so far Brooks Addiction Walker is the only shoe which would not allow pronation or supination. I believe this would be a very comfortable shoe for standard, versus complex, foot issues.

I have plantar fasciitis, and need to wear special inserts in my shoes. I read reviews on these shoes before purchasing, and chose them because they would offer the right amount of support. Though the insoles that came in the shoes are good and probably fine for most people, they didn't support my bad foot enough. But, they came out easily and my own inserts fit just fine in these shoes. I walk a couple miles a day for exercise and these Vionic walkers are comfortable.

I'm an Orthaheel fan. My knee pain (kneecap problems) has been much improved with their orthotics. The orthotic in this shoe is excellent but the shoe has a few drawbacks. The sole lacks enough cushioning to feel completely comfortable and it feels a bit like I'm walking on hard plastic. The shoe also seems to run just a bit wide, causing me to have to cinch the laces at the top. The shoe also is not up to the construction quality of my usual athletic shoe brand (Asics).

It took a couple days to work into wearing them all day but once I got there they really made my feet feel good. Nice high arch, flexible bottom, a little bit wider than normal shoes.

This shoe has excellent cushioning and is roomy in the toe area, but still fits securely. It does have a very high arch support that did not feel comfortable to me. The instructions say to wear them a couple hours at a time to get used to them, but my feet were not getting used to them after a couple of days so I decided to return them. If the arch support is right for you then these are a very comfortable and stable shoe. I usually wear an 8.5 street shoe and 9 athletic shoe and the 8.5 in these was just right.

I waited awhile to write this review because I wasn't sure about this shoe. It has excellent support but I believe that is more a function of the orthotic insole rather than the shoe itself. The toe box is very roomy. The shoe strings do not allow the shoe to be tightened on the foot, and I find that the overall look of the shoe is downright ugly. Also, after a few days of wear my feet adjusted to the support, and I realized that these shoes run a tad large allowing my heel to slide up when I take a stride. While they definitely will keep your feet warm in winter, I find they hold moisture and definitely will not work for summer. I have a black pair. This will definitely be my only pair of Orthaheel shoes, do to the lack of adjustability and low style. However, I think I would order the Orthaheel orthotic insoles that they have on Zappos.

These are super shoes, right out of the box. I ordered my usual running/walking shoe size. These give me better arch support than even the Saucony motion control shoes for pronators that I had been wearing. These are much better made than one of the other Orthaheel styles, a covered toe clog, that I also tried.

After suffering for several months with heel pain I purchased Orthaheel flip flops. They helped tremendously so I thought I would give the tennis shoes a try. I am very happy with my purchase. I wear them to the gym and they are perfect and no pain. They do run large so take that into consideration when you buy.

I have a bone spur and work standing on a concrete floor all day. These shoes alleviate 80 percent of my discomfort. They are super comfortable.

These shoes have given me the gift of mobility. The shoes have helped diminish my knee pain that was likely caused by over-pronation. I am interested in getting another pair in another color.

These are not the best looking shoes, but they are perfect for my feet. I have very flat feet with arch and heel pain. It does take a few days to adjust to these shoes, but once you get used to them they are extremely comfortable. I now have to buy the Orthaheel slippers because I like to kick off my shoes when I get home. But without the arch support in these shoes my feet start hurting! The only reason I didn't give these shoes 5 stars is because could be more attractive.

Even though these are not really pretty shoes, these are the perfect walking shoes. Suffering on and off with plantars faciatis I have to be really careful in picking shoes that will not hurt my heels. I already have the Orthaheel flop-flops, which I love, so for the winter it was logical that I should get their tennis shoes. I love them! I wore them last weekend and did a lot of walking at a street fair and never had any foot pain, during or after. I will be wearing them later on this month for a vacation on which I know that I will be doing a lot of walking. I am looking forward to seeing if they work.

I love in Orthaheel sandals. These are not quite as comfortable, and not quite as cute but they'll have to do until summer rolls around again. They are more comfortable than the Mary Jane style, which I found too tight in the toe box.

Shoes run large. Ordered my regular size and they were way too big/wide. Am going to reorder a smaller size. Seem comfortable.

These shoes were the right size, but unlike another pair of Vionics I have, the arch did not feel like it was in the right part of my foot! It was weirdly closer to the heel of my foot, rather than being centered. I liked that they were waterproof and warmer than regular athletic shoes. (I cannot understand why most athletic shoes assume that you will only wear them inside, in warm conditions.) I did like the color, too. Unfortunately, I cannot keep these awkwardly fitting Vionics. I was looking forward to warm feet during cool days and evenings.
