I have plantar fasciitis and bought these based on other reviews. I have them in green/tan - the green is a bit "greener" than the picture. I am finding the arch support to be excellent, but am not ready to wear them for long periods of time yet - the thong part between my toes is still very rough. Hoping to be able to increase wearing time soon. I generally wear a 5 1/2, ordered these in a 5 and they are the perfect length. I have short toes.

I have been having problems with plantar fasciitis for a few years, but after wearing flip-flops for too long last summer, I got myself into some real trouble. I was to the point where I could barely walk and was sleeping in night splints. I found a brand of shoes that worked for the winter, but I needed some sandals. I was reluctant to try flip-lop style shoes, but I gave these a shot. They have been wonderful for me! The arch support and heel support are amazing, and I do not feel stress from the impact of walking or being on my feet all day. I am so glad that I took a risk and tried Orthaheel!

So comfortable- and great looking too! Love these- I pronate and the built in orthotic keeps me standing ans walking up right with out my arches falling in. Can wear all day. I wish they had more fashion styles.

I have had plantar fasciitis and was looking for a light weight flip flop. These take a little getting use to but after a few days they feel great! I would order down a size if you are a half size. I ordered the pewter and they are much darker than shown. I would describe them as grey although the middle of the ribbon does sparkle a little. Not really a pretty color but I am keeping them because they are a good neutral and feel so good on my feet. If you normally like Clark's I think you will like thee for the support especially if you need good arch support. Love zappos return policy!

I am so glad that I read other review tips to wear a little at a time and give it a few days because at first it was stiff but now it is such comfort on my poor feet (took about three days). I have plantars and need the arch support. I will be getting another color!

I love these sandals. Traditional flip-flops had been hurting my feet, so I thought I'd try a pair of these. Extrememly comfortable, and excellent arch support not usually found in a sandal. I would definately recommend.

These are awesome sandals. When I first got these, I was about to return them only because I have really flat feet (my footprints are of my entire foot) and these have really good arch support. It took me a few times walking around the house to get used to the arches, but I would say these are the best for my body overall and definitely recommend them. The cushion and support for the heel is just great and has helped my plantars fascia. I have been wearing mine everyday without any pain.

Love these sandals! They are the most comfortable sandals for my feet since I had foot surgery. I have low arches and these sandals adjust my foot so I no longer have pain in my foot or my lower back. Orthaheel you have saved my feet from tons of pain and I love the super cute styles! My only wish for Orthaheel is that they come out with narrow shoes too.

These shoes have really helped my plantar fasciitis. They have the most arch support of any shoe I've ever worn. It felt like a bit much at first, and took a bit of getting used to. But I felt relief in my heel the moment I put them on, and once i got used to wearing them, they felt great! I highly recommend this shoe for those suffering from PF.

I bought these to help alleviate heel pain I experience when I'm working around the house on weekends. They feel so good I think I'll buy another pair to wear outside the house!

I ordered these shoes for my daughter. She loves to wear flip flops, however, I have noticed that she allows her feet to roll. I believe that may be called over pronation. I began to search for some shoes which would support her feet in a way which would help her to balance and stay aligned. She loves these flip flops! They are very comfortable and they do help her to stay aligned. I would like to order a pair for myself!

I love these! I was a little concerned about the breaking-in between the toes (per other reviews)...but I have to say that I have worn these non-stop and have not had any trouble at all. They don't even feel like new shoes. The best part - I woke up the next morning after wearing these, without foot pain! Wonderful shoes - highly recommended.

Love this flip flop! Its arch massages my foot, and the strap between my toes is really soft and comfortable. Didn't need breaking in. The patent stripe makes it a little dressy. :)

I recently purchased two pair of the "Tide" flip flops-and I am so glad I did! The minute I put them on, I really felt the arch support and even noticed I was standing straighter; not as sway-backed as I usually do. I took the suggestion of wearing them only a few hours at a time to break in, but I think I cou'd have just worn them for the day considering all the sitting that's involved in desk work. I read in a catalog featuring this shoe that the manufacturer suggests ordering a half size down if you wear half sizes. I wear size 7-1/2B so I ordered size 7. They fit perfectly. They feel really good on the bottoms of my feet, too. I normally would not spend anywhere near this much money for flip-flops but that's really all I wear in the summer (quick on and off) so I wanted something durable and worth the money, and also with support. One aside-when I first put them on somehow they transported me back to the days when I wore Dr. Scholls sandals.

I could not wear flip flops unless I was going to go to the beach or in the pool. Now I can wear them all the time. These flip flops look and feel while they support my back and knees all day. After seventeen years I can finally wear flip flops again.

The Orthaheel Tide sandals feel great! I wear them at home. Great for hot weather and very comfortable.

Orthaheel Tides saved my feet. After my first year of teaching, I had developed a wicked case of plantar fasciitis. I bought the bronze Tides and within a week, the pain was gone. I wore them every day last summer. Decided to branch out and get a black pair, too! Love the Orthaheels. I wear 9 1/2 in most shoes, but size down to a 9 in these perfectly.

These are great sandals. They are worth the money. They provide instant comfort. They are especially great for those with plantar fascia.

Best shoe I have ever found for foot problems. Have 4 pairs in my closet. Can be worn with outfit.

I love these. They are my house shoes now. I have tile floors and they are very supportive. I wear a women's 11 but the 10 in all the Orthaheel sandals fits me perfectly. I bought these for help with pronation, and they have given me relief from hip and knee pain.

These are a great alternative to my sneakers with orthotics. It took a few days to get use to thong between my toes and the arch, but now they are very comfortable. They are very stylish looking, similar to the Rainbow look.

Love these flipflops. I tore a tendon in my ankle and thought my summer would be relegate to supportive hiking shoes and these do the job of supporting me and looking and feeling cool!

I bought these shoes because I suffer from plantar fasciitis and a collapsed arch from surgery due to a car accident. I usually wear a 6 1/2 but I got a 6 and they fit great. I have medium wide feet and if you have narrow feet these will be too wide. I love these shoes I really wish they would carry them in a solid white instead of the khaki white that I don't like. I have them in black and they look nice enough not fancy but not too casual. I am very grateful for these because I have hardwood floors and I cannot even walk around my home without support. I did not have problems with the straps or the toe posts rubbing like some others have mentioned. However I will warn that if you are not used to an orthodic of any kind you will think the shoes feel wierd and it takes as much a a week before they feel great. I would recommend these shoes!

I decided to invest in these to ease foot pain (flat feet). I was pleasantly surprised at how comfy they were and didn't need to slowly adjust to wearing them, as recommended. The arch support is awesome and the overall fit is perfect - my feet are a bit on the wide side. I can't speak for women with high arches but for those of us on the flat side these Tides provide comfort and support - in a totally cute way!
