Very comfortable. Have high arch but those who do not will probably need more of a break-in period. You have to go down 1/2 size according to Orthaheel representative.

I bought these shoes because I wanted a "flip flop" that would give me some kind of support because I have Plantar Fasciitis. These shoes were recommended during a search. I wish the shoes came in half sizes. The 7 was really too small and the 8 is a bit too large. I chose to keep the 8.

Sheer delight to have such wonderful arch support and wide straps for more support. Stylish, better looking than average yet supportive. Recommended by Dr. Oz and delighted that I listened.

These shoes are awesome if you have high arches! I can wear them all day and have no foot pain.

I love these shoes! The first time I put them on, I could feel the support on my arches right away. This was a great purchase.

These are great flip flops - fit well and do help with the heel pain. No breaking in required and nothing stiff to rub a blister.

I thought these were great when I first tried them and wore a few more times in the house...but my problem ankle and knee couldn't handle my straying away from my orthotic insole -- so hoping these would work for me, but must return them. Watch out if you wear orthotics custom-made for your feet!

Wish I could wear these all day at work. Really need to come up with a decent looking business shoe that has the same support.

Usually I'm skeptical about marketing claims, but in this case, I agree with assertions that the Orthaheel is exceptional. I have terrible flat feet and hammertoes and bunions. After breaking them in, I now wear these sandals all the time and they do seem to align everything better and make walking and standing much less problematic my other shoes. My next shoe purchase will be another Orthaheel shoe from Zappos!

I purchased these because every summer when I start wearing sandals my legs and lower back ache. I wear orthotics in my sneakers, so without the support flip flops killed me. I love these shoes. It took about a week to get used to them, now I wear them every day!

I live in flip flops in the summer and wanted to try these at the suggestion of a friend who had experienced foot problems. I find the shoes to be very comfortable after a short period of adjustment.

don't want to take these shoes off, they feel so good. When you first get them, they will be a little stiff, but give it a little bit of time and it becomes your cloud. This is the second pair of sandals I own from Orthoheel, and I'm about to buy their tennis shoes. I normally wear shoe inserts, but I don't have to with these sandals!

Recently I was fitted for orthotics by my doc for my high arches that were beginning to fall. I groaned when I realized no more sandals for me since I wear sandals all the time in the nice weather. Since getting these, and already used to wearing the orthothic from the doc, I was able to wear them right away for a long time. I feel the shoe offers the same type of support as the expensive shoe insert orthotic. My heel pain has dimenished and my back feels much better. I'm pretty sure I've worn these shoes (and the other pairs I've purchased since) every day. This is my go-to shoe for summer. Super comfortable, fits wonderfully (got my usual size). Worth every penny!

I love my Orthaheel Tides, I have high arches and they are so supportive, I live on Maui which means I live in these shoes all the time. They are great everywhere. I walk a lot, they have contoured to my feet and they have aligned my knees. They don't bother me anymore! Thank you so much Zappos! I highly recommend these shoes.

I was looking for flip flops to wear around the house that would provide support, these do. They have arch support and my feet do not hurt after wearing them all day. About as supportive as it gets for flip flops.

Love these sandals. Just bought 2 more pairs in different. I have issues with my back and achilles tendonitis and these sandals give enough support that I can walk around all day without my feet and legs getting tired. Feel true to size.

I have very high arches, and I wear significant orthotics. So flip-flops have always been tough. Until now! These are amazing! The arch is very high, and wonderfully supportive. Thank you!

Bought these on the advice of my cousin who is a physical therapist. The extra arch support took just a day to get accustomed to (made me realize how flat all my other shoes are). They relieved my pesky Morton's Neuroma immediately! I no longer have the painful zings in the pads of my foot. Will continue to buy the Orthaheel brand! Worth every penny as I now wear these every day!

They are great! Need a few days to get used to but really helped knee pain. I'm going to buy more! Also I have a wide foot & they fit!

I had plantar fasciitis and needed to get more supportive shoes and sandals for my high arches. The Tide sandals are not anything fancy, but they look to be very durable. The bump under my arch feels great when I walk, though the footbed is very rigid. Nothing cushy about these. However, I find myself wearing them instead of slippers at night. People need to get educated about over-pronation and plantar fasciitis before it happens because it is so damn painful. If I had been wearing more support on my feet, these foot problems probably never would have occurred. I got the black because I am practical, but since I like these Tides so much I will probably get a brighter color. Instead of a cheap flip-flop, do yourself a favor and buy this.

Very comfortable. Because they only come in medium width, I use 1 1/2 sizes smaller than a regular shoe, and they work fine.

Had a foot injury, which caused me to develop plantar fasciitis. So painful to walk! Saw these advertised as specifically helping that, so I got them from Zappos. The high arch stretched my muscle and allowed me to walk comfortably, immediately! With these sandals, and standing on my toes, on a step, stretching my calf/arch down, I was able to start getting back to normal. I'm ordering more of these! No more foot pain from spending all day in flat-soled flip-flops for me! I'm addicted!

Once I got used to the super arch support, my feet have never felt better. I never go barefoot anymore!

I am a pronator and these sandals offer the support I need in a sandal. Without these sandals or a very stiff rubber sole in a shoe with a high arch support my feet hurt after a few hours of light walking or running errands. I love wearing my Clarks and Borns, but nothing supports my foot like the Orthaheel sandal does. I am ready to purchase my next pair and plan on wearing them in them my house shoes as the hardwood floors in our house are just too hard on my feet. Best sandals ever!
