I have very high arches and have to baby my heels because of a long fight with plantar fasciitis. These flip-flops are cute and comfortable. I liked how soft and cushy the heel cup is and how high the arches are. I am an 8½ and based on other reviews, I ordered an 8 and they just fit. I think I could have gone either way.

Very comfortable, your arches will thank you. Zappos service is so fast, it's like they are waiting outside your house for the order. I love Zappos!

These are great if you have foot issues and need sandals with support. I wear these with shorts, capris, as well as around the house as slippers. They make my feet feel great. I gulped at the price but they are truly worth the price!

Amazing arch support, I could even walk distances with no discomfort! They dry quick with no stretching, I highly recommend these to anyone with feet problems.

Terrific shoe: my chiropractor's been giving me fits because I wear flip-flops whenever the weather warrants it (anytime it gets to the high 40s), and I need arch support. These are perfect! I love this sort of non-color color; it goes with everything.

These are the only shoes that help when my plantar fasciitis and arthritis make my feet hurt. I can wear them standing all day at work and don't have the problems that even my arch supports allow. The strap rubs the top of my foot a little, but they are worth the occasional patch of moleskin I have to wear if I'm going to walk a lot. They look fine for casual wear and work at a school.

I purchased the Orthaheel Tide sandals due to the fact I have plantar fasciitis. I have been wearing them for about a month and they have made a huge difference. Well worth the cost. Thinking about getting them in another color!

I have very wide feed and this is a nice wide shoe , and since I've been wearing these flip-flops, my knee has stopped hurting - yay! However, when I first started wearing them, they rubbed against my toe so much that they broke the skin - boo ! For such a pricey shoe, I'm thinking you shouldn't have to break them in!, but, in the end, I needed support for my arches and knees, so, it was worth the trade off. They are broken in and no longer rub against my toe and I wear them everywhere.

I like the sandal and way it made my aches feel but I developed a blister on my right foot where the thong rubbed against my toes almost immediately. My left foot was fine. Ten days later the blister still has not completely healed so I am returning the sandal.

The color shows way more red; it's a coral pink.

These are an excellent flip flop if you have high arches like I do. I love them. They are great quality, slip easily into my gym bag and I could literally wear them all day walking around the city. Love them!

Very comfortable. I felt decreased lower back pain. Very happy with this purchase and happy my daughter recommended this sandal.

After walking flat footed for a couple of years, it took a day or two to get used to having comfortable support. Now my whole body feels properly aligned. And nobody knows they are correcting my pronation...they look like fun, casual flip flops!

Total lifesavers! I hate wearing socks/sneakers when it's hot out, but I have a really high arch and need the support that my custom sneaker insoles provide. This flip flop was the perfect solution! The arch take a little getting used to, but there's no way I can go back to my old flat flip flops. The materials these are made of is durable and cleans well. They won't slip when it's wet out. The strap material is a little shiny which allows me to get away with wearing these in a variety of different situations (work, dinner out, mall, baseball game, etc). Will definitely be purchasing another pair in a different color soon!

These flip flops really help my plantar fasciitis and bunion pain. This is the 3rd summer I've bought them. They kind of lose their oomph after a year. When I've started walking in the ones from the previous year, my foot pain acts up again, so I buy a new pair every summer. They run large; I wear an 8 usually but 8 is too big and the 7 is not skimpy. They have really helped my foot pain. I highly recommend them.

This was my first pair of Orthaheel shoes and I love them! I was a daily Rainbow flip-flop wearer for years, which really did damage to my feet. Now I need the arch support that the Orthaheel Tide offers. I love the support -- super comfortable. They are not as sleek and feminine as I was used to with the Rainbow's, but I'm over that! Comfort trumps sleekness! I normally wear a 6.5 but ordered a 7 based on other reviews, and they fit perfectly. Will be ordering another pair, in black, soon!

I thought I had the most comfortable flip flops before I tried Orthaheel. Now I have them in 3 colors and I have the slippers too. I can wear them all day long and my feet & arches thank me.

Plantar Faciitis totally subsided after stretching and wearing these shoes. I wear them everyday. I don't miss my previous flat flip flops. I put them in my purse when going out and immediately put them on afterwards.

Seems like these flips would have been very good, really supportive,unfortunately I have a narrow (A) foot, and these were just to wide.

This is my fourth pair of Orthaheels purchased this year, having purchased the Relax Slipper, Kiwi Slide and the Tide in black and bronze. The arch support is excellent. The sandals are very durable looking and feeling. I do agree with some of the other reviewers who mentioned the material on the footbed makes your feet sweat, but that would not deter me from buying more. For me, it is all about the support and looks. It is tough to find decent looking sandals that are also orthopedic. The breaking in time between my toes took a few wearings, but that is normal since I live in the great northeast where we do not get the same amount of sandal wearing time as folks in the balmy climates.

If you are having pains in your heel, these shoes will work wonders. After 6 months of going to the foot doctor nothing worked. I wish he had suggested getting these shoes, but he didn't. They are worth the price and they fixed what the doctor couldn't.

Great shoe. My go-to comfort shoe. Helps with plantar fasciitis. While it has excellent arch support I could use even more. I have a long high arch.

They are great shoes - you have to get used to them because they correct your posture but once you do you will never go back to any other flip flop. Just give them a chance. This is my second pair.

Having had a bunion operation and in need of another, I find wearing flip-flops to be often uncomfortable. These are the exception, however. The instant I put them on, I knew I was sure that I had comfortable footwear! I take size 9 1/2, but ordered a 9. The fit is perfect. I highly recommend these for people who are busy walking around for hours at a time.

I had foot surgery in April for a ruptured toe joint capsule, in addition to my ongoing bouts with plantar f. I had already scheduled a cruise for June so was desperate to find a shoe that would help me walk without pain. My doctor suggested Orthaheel flip flips. Purchased a pair and they saved my trip! I had minimal pain on the cruise and plan to purchase another style of Orthaheels to wear to work.
