I love these flip flops! And this is coming from a person who previously hated flip flops because of the way they made my feet feel after a few hours of wearing them. The stiff arch support is just what I needed. I never thought I'd need to follow directions on how to wear a pair of shoes but you really do need to read and follow the enclosed instructions. Only wear these for a few hours at a time the first few days. After a few hours on the first day, I felt some pain, not in my feet though, it was in my back and hip and I realized that these shoes were actually realigning my joints into a more proper posture. It was amazing to see what a good pair of shoes could do for your whole body! I usually don't believe the hype about shoes helping you lose weight or get more bounce but these really do what they advertise. My husband is already jealous. Gonna have to buy him a pair for an early Father's Day gift!

I have never written a review before but I must share this great news. I suffer from plantar fasciitis in my left heel. The struggle to find shoes that I can wear and ones that are still stylish has been lengthy. I can truthfully say that the Orthaheel Tide flip flop is comfortable and stylish for casual wear. I wear them every day when I come home from work and I slip into them before I get out of bed in the morning. I am very happy to be able to wear flip flop once again. The only area I would consider a "con" area would be in looseness. I am a size 6 to 6 1/2 but other reviewers thought the fit was a bit small, so I went with a 7. I am thinking of ordering another pair in a different color and will try the 6. I know I can return them if the fit isn't right.

Your feet will NEVER hurt again. I am the biggest Orthaheels fan. I wear these all summer. As someone, with low arches and a tendency to pronate these shoes keep my body in correct alignment and you can absolutely feel it at the end of the day when your back and knees and feet don't hurt!

I love all the Orthaheel shoes I've purchased. They give such great arch support and are very comfortable. I have 3 pair of this style and will order more for sure.

I have these in black and I love them! They are my go to flip-flop. I recently ordered these in pewter. Great color but decided to return them for a more colorful pair. I did notice that these seemed a wee bit smaller than my older pair. Not so much that I'd want to size up though. I do size down as Orthaheel suggests. I am usually between an 9.5-10, but a 9 in Orthaheel. The footbed is firm, but that is the way they are supposed to be. I have tossed all my other flip-flops!

This flip flop is great for alleviating planter fasciitis! I've been plagued with it for several months now and the foot doc said I needed better arch support. Most of the shoes that have it are very unattractive. With summer coming, I want to wear flip flops, and these are the perfect solution. They look mostly like "regular" flip flops but are making my feet feel a million times better already. I normally wear a 6 1/2 - 7 shoe, but got these in a 6 and they are perfect.

I don't know how I existed before Orthaheels. And I hadn't worn flip flops since I was in my 20s (let's say I'm a decade past 50 and be done with it). So supportive; toe thing doesn't irritate. I can wear them all day, even as a house slipper, and life is good.

This is my 3rd pair of Orthaheels. They are my everyday shoes and give good support, easy to walk in. Love 'em.

Aahhhh...finally, flip flops that are cute but don't make my feet hurt! I have plantar fasciitis and fell in love with Orthaheel shoes and sandals last summer. They make a world of difference!

These are the best flip flops ever. I have wide, flat feet and these have great support. Thanks Zappos for making the shopping so easy and returns for free! I will buy more of these in as many colors as I can afford! Well worth the price and great for rainy or beach wear - seems like they will last a long time.

This is an awesome shoe! great support and soft wool. Just what my flat, wide, pronating feet need to keep away the knee pain. Great with jeans and I wear them to work. bought the purple - go Ravens and going to buy the Black too.

My 2nd and 3rd pair of Orthaheel Tide. In addition to black, tried the Gold--a very neutral tan/gold. Wore the last pair every day last spring and summer. Very supportive, little pronation. Important to note: I typically wear size 8 (8.5 in athletic shoes), but a 7 fits perfectly here (8 was too big). I tried another style (Carla?) and the fit was more narrow than the Tide, so I returned for the trusty Tide. Thanks Zappos!

These have great arch support. I have PF and they have helped tremendously. Wish they weren't so expensive, I'd love to buy more. I have also tried Dansko, but they cut into the top of my foot.

Wonderful flip-flop! So supportive and stylish...I wore them to work and was on my feet for 6 hours! No problems, aches, soreness, nothing! GREAT arch support also. I highly recommend these, even for women who don't have 'foot issues'.

I wanted to like this flip flop but the fabric chafed the top of my foot. It is kind of a raw nylon with rough edge. I have had sandals with like a neoprene soft fabric over your foot that is so much better. Though the arch support was great I just knew these would give blisters if I wore them longer.

After having plantar fasciitis for six months and being in so much pain, I found these on the internet and am thrilled with how much better I am. I've already bought my second pair of orthaheel sandals.

Great shoes...comfortable for anyone with feet problems. My first pair, but not my last. Customer service is just great! Kudos to the Zappos team. Great fit if you go by the company's fit requirements!

Not that cute, but wow, they're comfortable. I'm 29 and have collapsing arches and up until now, I've worn Chacos. However, with their move to vegan shoes, the arch support isn't enough anymore. I gave these a shot and the arch support is major -- these just shove your arches up. Only two annoying things -- there are little nubbins on the edge of the soles where the foam was molded (I removed mine with nail clippers) and they aren't cute. They'll work for shorts, running around, but you can't wear them with anything even slightly dressy. I'm a true 8.5 and I ordered an 8, they're perfect and I usually order up.

Love these. I wear them all summer in the house mostly but also to the dive boat and around the neighborhood.

After reading a number of reviews was worried about the low toe rise, but decided to buy them anyway since I needed a basic flip flop with good support. The toe rise is no problem at all. They are comfortable and provide good arch support! I am looking forward to lots of wear this summer.

I have to admit that I'm impressed with these flip flops. I read the included materials and knew it would take some time to get used to them, but the first time I wore them was for a long work shift (11 hours) and I experienced some discomfort (my own fault really, I overdid it). The second time wasn't much better and the sole of my foot felt almost chafed in a few spots. However, the third time was the proverbial charm. I really like them now that my feet are used to them, and would consider getting another color. Some people might consider them boring, but I find their simple look to be quite nice for everyday wear.

Love, love, love these. I have a few of this style flip flop, and they feel so good on my feet. They really take the pressure off of my bad ankles by straightening them out. If you have bad feet these are the summer shoes for you.

These are by far the absolute best flip-flops for anyone with foot issues. I have plantar fasciitis, achilles tendinitis, and other foot problems. Wanted flip-flops for our vacation but can not wear regular ones. Decided to try these and like them so much that I bought 2 more pairs plus a dressier type (Carla II Toe Post). The arch support is as good as the custom orthotics I use in my shoes. I now wear one pair around the house in the warmer weather.

This is the most comfortable shoe of any type I have ever worn. Too bad I can't wear to work, I put these on as soon as I get home and usually wear most of the weekend, if I don't need to dress up.

I have Plantar Fasciitis and needed something for warm weather. I bought the Orthaheel Tide and LOVE it. It helps a lot with the heel pain that I have and is comfortable and sturdy.
