I think these shoes are fabulous. The Finn Comfort line is quality plus. Awesome leathers and kid skin liners make these so soft and the footbed is fantastic comfort. German hand made shoes that I call the Rolls Royce of footwear. I love them! And the customization options are awesome, but you have to know a good shoe fitter to get the right alterations. You can also use a custom orthotic in them, but it should be cosmetically done to look like it came with the sandal. They might be a bit pricey, but worth every penny. I have some that are well over 10 years old. Love these.

This is my 2nd pair of Finn Comfort sandals. I wear a size 12 and the 43 was perfect. They were comfortable immediately, no breaking in necessary. I ordered them one day and they were delivered to me one day later! I will order again from Zappos.

Love these sandals! The fit of the shoes is perfection; it's like stepping onto a cloud! Plus, they look way better in person than in the photo. I almost didn't get them because I thought they looked kind of clunky. But in person, I think they look reasonably fashionable and un-Birkenstocky-y. I've never paid this much for a pair of sandals, but I'm going to be wearing them on travel, and I think my feet deserve this kind of comfort and care if I'm going to be pounding around on them!

I bought this shoe because I had broken my big toe and needed a shoe that would not put too much pressure on it and had a fairly rigid sole. This shoe is perfect and it looks cute as well. Very well made. Love it. Worth every penny.

These are one of the most comfortable shoes I've had. I know I will wear them for a long time. My feet are bad and I search forever for shoes. These support and fit to your foot in a short time. They are adjustable in 4 places. The sole lining is the classic lining and I got the soft one, but the harder one was pretty good too. I can walk forever in these plus they are very stylish. My daughter bought me a pair in black. Thanks Zappos!

My second pair of Finn Comfort. I have some peripheral neuropathy, and Finn Comfort is wonderful. Wore first pair 9 days, all day, walking in India. I love them. My feet love them.

I have to wear an orthotic and I have difficulty finding a sandal that doesn't show. In this sandal it fits and doesn't show that I am wearing an orthotic! I absolutely love this sandal! I also have a narrow foot and this is the best looking one of any other sandal I have ever worn! I am very happy with my purchase. It is very comfortable, I put it on and just started wearing it. No problems!

The shoes are cute as all get-out, beautifully constructed, and as these things go, worth the many, many dollars they cost. I have walked miles in them in perfect comfort. I have been treating myself to Finn Comfort shoes for a long time and have always been pleased by both the fit and construction. Now I am pleased by how good my feet look in the shoes and how nicely they set off my pedicure. Try them, you will probably like them.

Worth every single penny! I have wide feet, plantar fasciitis, high arches and my feet normally ache all day long. I have never in my life paid this much for shoes but these are worth every penny! Face it, if you feet hurt, you are not a happy camper. I used to walk around the office thinking to myself "Wow..my feet are so screwed up..they always hurt". These shoes offer excellent support and are pretty stylish. I wear them with long black pants and nobody notices my feet anyway. I ordered two sizes, the woman's range for sizes 8 and the range for the larger size above an 8. I don't see a whole lot of difference in sizes so I am keeping both...at a high cost including tax and shipping. I don't care and I'm not rich and I am normally a very frugal person. I don't think I ever want to be without a pair of Finn's and I don't care about the cost. Plantar fasciitis is so painful and these sandals are exactly what my poor tootsies needed!

Though Finn Comfort, including this Gomera sandal, is pricey, the quality, durability, fashionable look make them worthwhile considering. I'm especially grateful because this is the ONLY sandal on the market I can wear due to a medical condition in my foot (only footwear I can wear). It's also good to know that FinnComfort offers a service to recondition them when and if you wear them out, so more cost-effective). If the Gomera works for you, you'll have happy feet!

Zappos has the best prices and super fast delivery! These shoes are the best! Wore first day for 10 hours at work and they never pinched my foot like new shoes normally do. They feel like house shoes. Leather and sole is super soft and contours to your foot instantly! Perfect fit! I'm wary about ordering "online" without trying on....however, I thought what do I have loose with Free delivery and return. I'm keeping these! Ordering more too! I'm so happy!

The most comfortable shoe I have ever worn, and I have a bunion and several fractured toes. The total adjustable upper plus a balanced sole make them great! Very soft leather with no breaking in required. Expensive but worth every penny. True to size. I am so greatful to have these shoes.

I have wide feet and have problems finding shoes. Even though the Gomera's do not come wide they still worked. The leather is soft and all my toes fit comfortably. Love them!

The foot bed is very big, which is great for the comfort, but I ordered a size for 4.5-5 and it was too big for my 4.5 size feet. If a shoe fits a size 5, then it won't fit a size 4.5...because it's actually a size 5. Others could probably get away with wearing these even though they have a wide sole (especially if they had wider feet), but I didn't care for how they looked on my feet. Plus, they were too long. :/

The Gomera shoe in Lake blue was not the quality of leather as the Gomera shoe in Taupe that I ordered recently. The Lake blue leather was lighter weight. I have many pairs of Finn Comfort shoes and this is the first pair ever that I felt was not as high quality. The soles of two of my old pairs of Finn Comfort have crumbled and disintegrated. I had one pair resolved. I was surprised because they are very expensive for me. I buy them for the good arch support. Thank you!

The heel on one shoe digs into my foot! I have other pairs of these and never had that problem.

Grey patent squeaked a bit and i knew it would drive me nuts. Otherwise, it was like walking in the clouds...beyond comfortable

I love everything about these shoes for comfort and fit. bought them to alleviate plantar fasciitis the only thing that bothers me about them is the SQUEEKING when I walk in all 4 pairs that I own!

The sandal feels true to size. The quality and workmanship of this product is top notch and superior. They feel comfortable right out of the box and no break in is required. However, I cannot give them my preferred 5 stars because they really fall short of arch support and overall comfort when taken for a moderate distance walk. Unlike my Chacos and Birkenstocks, I really wanted to take these off sooner than later. At this price, I feel I paid for the "workmanship" but for all day comfort there are other brands that offer more for about $125.00 less. Will keep them to wear to office where less walking is required.

They are a little dressier while still cute than my go to Chaco Z1's and Birkenstocks. However, for me these fall short ; they don't offer a strong arch support and the heel cup is almost non existent. I have kept them to wear to office but don't plan on chancing a plantar- fascitis flare up by taking them traveling.

Not a sexy cute sandal, but also not an ugly clunky one either. More like a "funky" look :-) However, it is absolutely comfortable right out of the box. Based on other reviews of this brand, I am hoping for a durable sandal to clock in miles during our travels. Will try to update later.

This is a nice sandal. It's VERY silvery. I have horrible feet: flat, wide and bunions. I have to return them. Although they fit to a degree, they hit my feet in all the wrong places both for comfort and aesthetics.

I adore having bright red shoes with removable insoles and sling backs. (In truth if you want removable insoles and sling backs, your choices are extremely constrained, so I'm just glad Finn is around to help.). I love the adjustability of the various straps. The leather still feels a little stiff to me (maybe not yet sufficiently broken in?) but that issue is obviated by the fact that you can adjust the tightness of the toe straps. All in all, they work for me. I like my Finn Sausalitos a little better due to the lower heel, but I will be wearing one or the other every day this summer.

This is the first time I've ordered a Finn shoe. It's really high quality, sturdy and stylish. The blue color is exactly as I expected it to be from the website. Unfortunately, it's not wide enough for my 9.5 WW feet, so I must return it.
