I love these shoes and wore them non-stop last summer and fall, with zero break-in time. The leather lining is super comfy and I like that I can swap in my orthotic if I ever get around to it. Though honestly they're so comfortable on long walking days without it that I haven't bothered. I'm back to get a 2nd pair in a different color for a 3 week trip this summer with lots of walking - I plan to bring just those two pairs. I have average width to slightly narrow feet, slightly narrow heels, a high arch, like a good-sized toe box, and normally am between a size 10 & 11 depending on brand and the size 42 in these fits me perfectly.

I can't remember if I already wrote a review for these. I also have the tan style. I love, love, love them. Not a lot of arch support, but they're stiff enough to provide overall support and I can get away with wearing without orthotics when running errands. I do put them in if I will be on my feet a lot.

Love style since slimmer than chunky. I first bought 40 EU size due to reviews that say shoe ran small. I usually wear an 8 in tennis shoes and round toe shoes. The 40 was too large and slipping in back. So tried 39 which is a little tight on right foot when just putting but appears to be stretching out as I wear. So my opinion is you can wear a 39EU in this shoe if American size is 8 but I think would be too tight if you wear an 8 1/2. I got the red and love the color and general look of shoe.

I have been wearing these shoes (black) for several years - maybe on my 3rd pair. It's unusual for me to find a comfortable shoe that doesn't look clunky/old lady when walking in the city. I have always switched out the laces for shorter, more slender ones and in black. Then the shoe looks even less athletic. Last year I saw a huge inventory of these shoes at a California Costco at a pretty low price but immediately could tell that they were either seconds or knock offs because they had obvious flaws, leather pulling away from sole and inconsistent in sizing. My only negative is that the sole is sort of beige instead of white which makes them look a bit dirty.

The first pair of these shoes was torn on one side! But, they're so cute, that I decided to reorder. I got the indigo as I felt it was more versatile. They will look great with jeans, boyfriend jeans and weekend chinos. They are also comfortable for a casual sneaker. It's not the kind of sneaker that you'd wear for your fitness walks, but it will be great and super cute for casual wear and even vacations.

Love this shoe! It was my 3rd purchase of the same shoe over the years. I completely wear them out. No break-in time needed. I wanted a shoe that didn't scream "American" every time I went to Europe so I could walk into a store and not be greeted with merchants trying to practice their English while I was trying to use my German and French. I have a very hard foot to fit..size 11, medium ball and 5 double A heel. These are perfect allowing for swelling of the feet while flying and long periods of walking.

Love the shoe, but runs small so am exchanging for larger size.

Loved the color and construction of these shoes but they were too narrow. I ordered a size larger but toe box not wide enough.

Love these shoes!!! Love the true red color and the comfort of these shoes. I wear a size 8 so I order the 8-8.5 had to return them for the 7-7.5. so glad I did!!!

I ordered the black and it looks so cute with the contrast stitching. I would really like to be able to keep it but it's just too narrow for my bunion. Even going up a size didn't help but I think they'd be great for someone with normal feet.

I tried hard to pretend that these shoes were comfortable, because they are so attractive and the style was just what I wanted. I have several pairs of Josef Seibel shoes and love them, but just couldn't get the fit right in these, trying both a 38 and 39. I am sad that I have to return both pairs, but appreciate Zappo's return policy.

Broke these shoes out of the box and right on to my feet! I read previous reviews, ordered 1/2 size bigger and the shoes fit well! Like the leather better then canvas for not only style but easy to wipe away any smudges. Cute with boyfriend jeans, cargos or shorts!

I love these shoes! I will definitely be buying more of the same style. I purchased the basalt color and have worn them every day, so the first additional pair will be the same color for when these ones need to be replaced. I was planning to buy black but the basalt is so cool and goes with everything (well, everything in MY wardrobe) that I'm not sure there would ever be a time when I'd prefer to wear black when I could wear these. They are super comfortable and don't look like Old Lady Shoes (I'm 61) but they are not so shiny as to look like clown shoes. I'll probably buy two more pairs in the same color, although I am hankering for a red pair, too...

My first time with Zappos. I had owned these shoes two or three years ago. When I wore them out I kept thinking about them. They are great, fit like a glove on my feet, have a sophisticated but not in your face look. Great for walking long distances and for the city. I am delighted to have found st Zappos.

Love these shoes! I am a size 8 in US sizing, and the 39 fit perfectly. The leather is beautiful, nice red (blue red, not yellow red) and the shoe is very stylish. I want more colors!

Love these shoes in the denim blue color. Comfy from the moment they went on my feet. Light weight, nice wide toe box, nice snug heel fit and the lace up allows great stability. One note about Seibel brand in general for me is that while I wear a 39 Euro / 8.0 - 8.5 US size, I always need to order a 40 Euro in Seibel. I find myself choosing Josef Seibel most of the time at this point to provide a shoe that will stay on to work well and still be stylish as I have MS and need a low, stable shoe. And not only comfy, as a brand in general, but fun styling. I can't count the number of times someone has stopped me to say "Cute shoes!" and ask where I got them. Very often Zappos is my "where" reply because of Zappos top notch selection and can't be beat service. As example, I received these in just about 24 hours after I ordered them. Bravo Zappo's!

Liked the shoe but have foot that's hard to fit...was disappointed.

The gray is a subtle metallic - very nice. They are quite comfy, but not as comfortable as a real sneaker, in my opinion. But far more comfy than my Coach sneakers. I swapped white laces for grey for a slightly more dressy look. I am usually a 41, sometimes a 40, and the 41 fit fine.

I had a lot of foot surgery. Five bones cut on my right foot. My foot rolls to the outside. I wanted a supportive shoe that did not look too orthopedic. These are comfortable and hold my foot in place while going great with jeans and casual wear. I will definitely purchase more.

This shoe is one of the most comfortable shoes I have. I have to wear a brace and this shoe is very comfortable over the brace. I have 2 pairs now. Great shoe.

I have this shoe in another color but sadly this one runs short, I really like the shoe I currently have reason for 5 stars
