I have bought five pairs of this shoe in different colors over the past year. I've looked for a comparable stylish look and feel but keep coming back to this shoe because I can't find anything as comfortable and cute. I walk a lot in a hilly, walking city. I also have dogs so I cover miles on foot daily. I love these shoes because they have style but feel as comfortable as sneakers. My only complaints are (1) that the laces on these shoes don't last very long (I replace the originals after the first few months), and (2) sizing is odd -- to say they run large is an understatement. I usually wear a size 38 in European sizing but I wear a 40 in these shoes. There is no arch support but I use the black Superfeet and they fit nicely in these shoes.

5 stars for comfort, 5 stars for super-cute. So why 2 stars? Because the quality is terrible. I wore my first pair three times before the sole of the left shoe started to pull away from the shoe, at the ball of the foot. Zappos was kind enough to replace them (yay Zappos). I've been wearing the replacements for a little less than a month (not every day) and the soles are again starting to detach at the same place. The detaching isn't as radical as the first pair, but apparently a month is long enough for the stitching around the sole to start unraveling. For the price and reputation of this brand, it's totally unacceptable.

LOVE these sneakers! I have gotten so many compliments on both pair of Caspian shoes (white and blue). Retro style without the 'dorky' look. Very comfortable, although the first time I wore them I walked 7 miles and wound up with a couple of blisters and a wounded 4th toe. That might be because my feet are almost a full size different, and my larger foot strikes the toe box more. Still, I would recommend these to anyone. I have narrow heels and these fit well.

Just bought these shoes to fit my orthotics. Love them because they don't look like the clodhoppers many orthopedic shoes can - especially with larger sizes. These do fit narrow - I cannot usually wear this brand as most styles are too wide.

I ordered these shoes because they looked comfy and cute. When I tried them on, however, they weren't as comfy as they looked. I have a high arch and would have liked some arch support.

Great, cute shoe for everyday walking. The sole is molded and a bit stiff, but in a good way, and it has a leather footbed which is comfy. They're a tad pricey, but you feel the quality the moment you put them on. These aren't Keds or canvas-y; these are well-made, real shoes.

These shoes are amazingly comfy and cute. However, after only owning them for 2 weeks with normal wear, the sole had already started to separate from the rest of one of the shoes so I had to return them. I really hope it was just an issue with that particular pair and not a problem with this style in general, because they are so comfy that I'd be tempted to get another pair to see if they hold up better...

These are great. Wasn't sure because one shoe felt tighter than the other, but they seem like they'll break in nicely. I knew Josef Seibel, especially because I have very difficult feet to fit and have had good luck before. I can actually spend time in these. 4 stars only because the arch support could be better. As usual, Zappos rocks!

The Caspian in Red Naplack is so cute! I love the white stitching. It is like a true red (not orangey) patent leather. I am 73 and finally I have bright red shoes! First day they were stiff and the end of the toe is hard as steel. I couldn't see why they were called a "comfort" shoe. They weren't cushion-y. But by the end of the second day, they were comfortable, had conformed to my feet, and fit perfectly and the hard toe doesn't bother me at all. (I have a narrow foot and they are not too wide for me.) Now I can't believe how comfortable they are! The toe points upwards a little which I thought would be a problem, but it isn't. I don't feel it; it just looks a little weird but I am getting used to it. These shoes are fun, which I wanted, and I feel very young at heart wearing them. The red goes with so many of my clothes. Thank goodness they fit well because even if they didn't, I would have wanted them!

I have these in the olive color and they are extremely comfortable and adaptable to both thin and thick socks. My only complaint is that the laces wear out quickly. Is this due to the eyelet design?

I have the denim blue color Caspian sneaker, and I love them! Get lots of compliments every time I wear them. I needed a comfy, stylish shoe to go to Italy this summer, and these cuties are perfect. Good with shorts, skorts, and my denim skirt. They did need a bit of breaking in. They are cut low, and found that the thinnest slipper-sock works best under them. Thanks Zappos!

The shoe is cute, but gave me huge blisters after first day of wearing them. Then the second time I wore them I noticed that the sole. Is coming off. Already. Not impressive for a shoe that I expected to be much higher quality.

I love these shoes. I have them in 3 colors. The quality and comfort are unsurpassed! Combine that with Zappos service - you can't go wrong.

I was looking for a Chuck Taylor look-alike shoe when I bought these to go with red/white striped overalls, and they are great shoes. If I had the money, I'd buy in other colors, too. They run a tad narrow, but not too much. The arch support could be better, too. Nevertheless, I'm very pleased with them. The leather is really as smooth as advertised and the workmanship is outstanding. I wore them with "footsies" instead of socks and they fit perfectly. I sure wish they came in black/white. The darkest color is only a dark gray/green.

Excellent Service. Beautiful shoe. Fit very small so if you have womens size 11 like me there are no options for this shoe.

Very comfortable shoes and lighter weight than most walking shoes. I wore them all the time I was on a recent tour and my puppies were very happy.

These shoes are very comfortable and I would buy them again. They have good arch support, the color is a good navy and I do get compliments on them.

These are amazingly comfortable and so darn cute to wear with anything from shorts, jeans or a little sun dress. Surprising how supportive. I am a true 6 1/2 and the size 37 fit me perfectly.

These are really well-made, cute sneakers. I feared they would not have enough support, but it really hasn't been an issue. I now wear them nearly every day and am probably going to spring for a yellow pair soon!

These shoes are awesome! I have been looking for a long time for a sporty casual leather tennis shoe without the usual bulky sole. The color selection is fantastic! My goal is to get at least one in every color.

I love these shoes! They are very lightweight and sleek sneakers that fit true to size. They have a roomy toebox which makes them extremely comfortable and I can wear them all day. I like to wear them when I want more support than a sandal. There is not much arch support but that has not been a problem for me. I liked them so much I bought another pair in a different color.

I just received my Caspian shoes and they are heaven. I have a small foot and I often feel like I'm cross country skiing inside my shoes. These fit like gloves and are super cushy inside. Zappos rocks for carrying small sizes for us odd sized folks! I look forward to buying these in another color. I'm such a happy Zappos consumer!

The shoe is very stylish, I've received many compliments. It has a lot of room in the toe bed, but not a very soft sole. It's a cute shoe, but not one to walk around Disneyland.
