I chose Josef Seibel's Ida sandal for its quality, craftsmanship, materials, and overall design. This is an excellent sandal.

I bought these shoes/sandels almost 4 years ago, and I still love them with pants! I take good care of my shoes-still, the IDA has retained it's good looks and shape despite doing crossing guard duty-sometimes in messy weather. These are quality leather shoes that will last you a long time!

In the stores, it has been hard to find a comfortable sandal-shoe that has a slight heel (less than an inch high when wearing it.) I purchased this same style over 5 years ago and was glad to see that it is still available. So, I purchased it in black. The black color is dressy and will work well with a variety of outfits. Although the side of the shoe grazes my ankle bone, I find that if I bend outward the leather at my ankle bone, that takes care of the discomfort.

It's not the shoe - it's my feet; they are VERY hard to fit.

I kid you not; I have had these shoes for about two years now, and I STILL have women come up to me and ask what brand they are and where I got them. The last time was yesterday; a woman at the chiropractor's saw them and asked me about them. I referred her to Zappos since trying to get them from Josef Siebel in Great Britain is a true hassle. I think I should start getting a commission on every pair I "sell". I have three other Josef Siebel shoe styles, but this one is the one I get asked about. Oh, and I wear an 11 with a foot size of just under 11" and though my toes touch the tip of the shoe, the leather is soft enough that the funky toenail on my left big toe is not irritated at all. --Ten years ago most every 11 fit me; now 11's fit like a 10 most of the time (just sayin')

I bought this sandal and different style of Josef Seibel sandal with the intention of sending at least one of them back. I put these sandals on and was so happy at how good they felt on my feet. I have worn them several times and love them. They are good to walk in and look great! They have good support too! PS I loved the other pair of sandals also....I kept them both!

I love these shoes! they are an easy go-to when I want all-day comfort. I like the adjustable strap and the airy cutouts.

SOOOO Comfortable, but my right heel was rubbing. When I looked in there was a flaw in the stitching making a little knot right at my heel. I hope they still have some in stock so I can exchange them!

Cute as could be but a wee bit short. I wear a size 11 and my toes were stubbing.

These shoes are comfy & cute but just a little small since a foot surgery my feet have changed so the 11 doesn't fit now. This brand is a favorite, so sorry they don't have size 12.

Wonderful!!! Bought again within a week or two as my puppy chewed the toe. Then after being disappointed with my black naot shoe, I order this Ida in black. Love this shoe and Josef Seibel!

Oh, these are delightful! They fit well, have arch support, are lightweight and look nice. I have them in both colors. I wear them all spring, summer and fall.

Puppy chewed up one shoe before they were a week old, but they were so perfect, I reordered them at $125??

I really wanted to love these, they are so cute! I found they had no cushion or arch support at all. I love them so much, I'm actually going to order a size up and try putting an insole in them. If you have plantar fasciitis, you probably won't find these comfortable.

I love these shoes and have very flat feet. I can wear them all day to work without pain. I did have to return another pair because my right metatarsals were hurting. I think they are good shoes, but there are lemons in the bunch. Maybe the company needs better quality control??

awesome shoe, but too large, had to return even though I wear a 7 In U.S. I wore a 6.5 in Joseph Seibel. I have a narrow foot, and these are adjustable.

Footbed is flat, giving no arch support. Reason for return.

Of course he makes a very comfortable shoe. I just wanted something a little bit younger looking.

Beautiful shoe. Unique closing with velcro on top of the foot. I've wanted to try this shoe for several years. Cute design -- maybe not quite what I need for an upcoming trip, though.

These shoes are so cute, and very comfortable. I am returning them because they are a little too flat which causes cramps in my toe. I wish they could work for me!

I give these shoes 5 stars! They are my 3rd pair and comfortable beyond description for my old and tender feet! Thank you for the quick delivery and another pair of wonderful shoes! I even have my orthotics in one pair, that make them especially lovely to walk in!

This is an extremely comfortable shoe. Unfortunately I am returning it only because it's not the color depicted on the website. It is a dark weathered brown, not a tan as shown.

These are really nice Fisherman type sandals that I was hoping to replace an older pair of. They were just not narrow enough.
