Well, I just got these and sad to say I was a bit disappointed. I love this brand as it used to be one of the best, but alas, these looked like they would fall apart...the top is just stitched (once) around to attach it to the sole. There is no support at all and very thin soles, I felt like I was in my bare feet (which is not bad it that's what you like), but I had planned on taking these on a trip to SE Asia and with walking all day I felt that I would end up with blisters on my feet, so back they go.

I have another pair of similar Josef Seibel summer shoes that I have worn for far too long. I had hoped to replace them, but this style (in the same Josef Seibel line) just won't do. The tab on the back rubs my heel, the strap across the top of the arch makes it impossible to just slip on, and the same strap is sewn on in a way that causes it, too, to rub my foot. Must send hm back. Sadly.

I wear an 8 - 8.5 and was swimming in a 39. And somehow, they just aren't as cute in person as they are online. Kind of made my feet look like a Greek fisherman. Not feminine, not athletic, not really any category I can think of. The search continues.

Looked a bit too earthy for my purpose. The shoe was not that comfortable, it rubbed in spots and felt like there were loose threads.

So disappointed! I wore out my previous Seibel sandal & was eager to get another pair like them. But they don't make those anymore. So I chose this one and was so confident I threw the box away immediately. Now I'm stuck with $$$ sandals that I can't wear. The leather on the heel comes up so far, I got a blister on my heel within an hour. I tried bandaids and moleskin to no avail.
