I like the look of these and got them for color and style, but I don't find the soft footbed supportive enough in the arches. I wear Birkenstocks for the comfort and support they provide and this footbed doesn't provide the support I am used to getting from the original Birkenstock footbed.

Honestly I realize that I’m just not a Birkenstock girl… I ended up giving these to a friend and she wears the heck out of them! But she is a Birkenstock girl ;-)

I had tried these in size 38 (normally a size 7.5) at a local store and loved it. When I got a coupon from Zappos, I decided to order them. As soon as I put them on, I knew something was right. The size was 38 but it was huge. Then I felt something poking the outer foot and saw it was a little bit of glue! Then I noticed the right one of the foot straps had a lot of glue on it but the leather was already not completely attached. Not sure what was going on but it’s definitely not how Birkenstock sandals are made.

Am searching for the right sandal and everyone recommends Birkenstocks but I find the sole so hard and uncomfortable - I haven't purchased any yet so haven't had the chance to break a pair in to see if they truly become more comfortable but I really don't want to have to break in sandals. Saw these "soft Footbed" Birkenstocks and was very excited to try them - the sole is slightly padded but unfortunately I found these to be narrow even though they are marked as normal. I am returning them.

Since when does Birkenstock use Wal-mart tred? Too much money for that kind of quality, I'm returning!!!

I love Zappos. I think they’re wonderful. But when I ordered my new birks, I was so bummed to find the shoe box busted and already opened (the seal was broken too) and the shoes had very clear fert marks. Someone had already worn them, and for enough time to leave imprints. It was pretty gross, and very unlike Zappos.

I have a huge number of Birkenstock sandals and clogs and have worn them comfortably for years, but I think the quality had deteriorated. All of a sudden they are killing my feet. The sole seems harder. And if I get them wet, it seems that all the support disappears and the sole seems even harder. It seems like the quality of everything is deteriorating due to corporations hiring cheap offshore labor, so I wonder if Birkenstock has lowered their standards for profit like everyone else. Whatever. I'm being forced to switch to Naot because I can no longer wear this brand.

I have never had blisters so badly in my life as I had from these shoes. wore them once and will never wear them again. So not worth the money. I did not buy these for looks, they are ugly. Bought them to walk in. They were horribly uncomfortable.
