Bought these shoes because of the recommendation of a friend who had foot troubles and her podiatrist told her to get some Birkenstocks - I absolutely love them! I was wearing an old pair someone had given me, but love the soft footbed of these shoes and the color and style. My foot is wide and the normal width fits me great! Zappos was a great company to order them from - amazing customer service!

Size was on point. Buckles were a little loose in the sandal

I'm actually rewriting my review... I thought these shoes weren't wide enough, but it seems the arch is too high. And mainly for the right foot. So I don't know what that's about. Hope you like them!

Shoes were tight at end of day when my feet swell. Maybe will try a wide width.

I'm not sure about the Birkibuc. Seems like it would not last as long as leather, suede or Birko-flor. The soft footbed is a must for bad knees and ankles or just comfort in general. I don't know why Birkenstock makes some of their shoes without it. Arch support is superb!

Great shoes just wrong size

Narrow and a little short.

I wasn’t familiar with soft bed, I think I prefer those harder foot beds that take a while to mold but provide ultimate support and stability. But these are okay.

I liked the smaller, thinner straps as there were more options to get a good fit. Unfortunately, my feet are not the same size nor width due to age and bone spurs and I couldn't make them work.

Shoes were just okay, not as comfortable as other Birkenstock’s.

Due to the mixed reviews, I went to a store to try on the shoes before ordering. Glad I did because I went down a size, which fit perfectly. I have only worn these a few times. The first few times they were a little uncomfortable due to breaking them in. Very cute and pair well with any outfit. Glad I bought them!

I ordered the same size I wear in my other Birkenstock’s and these were too narrow

I wanted to like them but it was very narrow near my arch but by my toes it was wide !

I love birks but I thought the three straps looked weird on my feet so I returned them.

They run tighter across the top of the foot than the Arizona

Smaller than thought

This is first Birkenstock and I have been struggling get through the break in period. Normally i don't buy shoes that need to be broken in. They should be comfortable out of the box. However, I have read that these require a break in period. I have been wearing them around the house since I bought them and today I wore them outside. I think the issue is that the arch support is quite pronounced and needs to adjust to the specific person. So, the jury is still out on whether they can be my ultimate walking sandle

I have had many pairs of these in the past, but unfortunately these didn’t work out. The left shoe felt much tighter and fit differently than the right shoe. I had the buckles set on the same holes. It was odd so I returned them. Also, the logo stamp on the side was crooked on the right shoe.

I would definitely recommend the "Soft Footbed" It makes these sandals even more comfortable!

These sandals are the nicest looking of the Birkenstock options. They are very supportive, which is great. I ordered the non-leather option in the Mocha color. I was very disappointed with the color. I thought it looked like a warm, rich brown color, but in person it was very ugly. I didn’t know what to expect of the Birkibuck fake leather. It looks very cheap and stiff to me. So I liked the sandal but bit the material or color. I returned them for the same sandal in black nubuck/suede. I’m very happy with them.

I wanted to like these but for some reason they really hurt my feet when I walk. I think I need a very cushioned sandal at my age and with my health issues. I thought the soft design would be better but I had to return them.

These do not fit the same as they used to or as the arizona/florida style. I had to size down a size from my normal Birkenstock size to get a good fit. That being said, I also do not find them as comfortable as the florida/arizona style.

Love Birkenstocks, but am picky and prefer the 3 straps over the 2. I was looking for the 3 strap design that was a little different and thicker and could not find those anywhere (Zappos or otherwise) so I tried the Florida and opted to try the soft footbed. All in all, they are great sandal. I don't notice a huge difference in the soft footbed and actually prefer the original (but this is a preference and not a concern or complaint). As for the Florida style .. I don't love it. I really want to see more options in the 3 strap variety (bring back the old one that had 3 wider straps across the top of the foot with only 2 straps coming off the sole).
