Love these birks! I'm a casual mama, so I like an easy, but still feminine sandal. I also have the gizeh in patent black. Also from Zappos! I really recommend both. These ones are so cute with shorts, skirts, faded jeans or to wear to the pool. You can't go wrong with the comfort of birks. And, as usual, Zappos shipping and customer service is amazing!

Loved these shoes! They fit true to size. I wore them around the house with socks for a bit to break them in. When it came time to wear them outdoors without socks I had no issues with blisters or rubbing.They are classier looking than most flip flops and can be worn with anything. I suggest treating them with a good protective spray or lotion prior to wearing outdoors.

3 weeks I have been waiting on the correct size to be available. Call every week to be told we will contact you when they are available. Wife's xmas present may be available for Valentines day... first experience with Zappos.com. Kinda disappointed. MAKE SURE YOU ORDER THE RIGHT SIZE THE FIRST TIME!

I love this sandal but sadly, I must return it. I have some arthritis in the joint where my big toe joins the foot and the strap hits just so, irritating it. It also runs larger than my other Birkenstocks and I would have had to exchange them for smaller one. Beautiful sandal...

First of all, all I wear is Birkenstock -- sandals and shoes (Dundee, Maine, Alabama). I love my Birkenstocks and they have saved my sensitive diabetic feet. So, if you like loosy goosey flip flops and thongs that make you walk slower and work to be careful not to fall out of your sandals, like you wear to the market with your tattered shorts and 1978 KISS t-shirt that you just can't manage to throw away (despite the stains and tears), this may be the Birkenstock for you, to introduce you and entice you into the Birkenstock world. Just don't plan to power walk in them like you can with other Birks! But if like me you hate that toe sensation from flip flops and thought Birkie would never make an actual flip flop that cuts into your toes, well, guess again. These things are awful! They have the Birkenstock footbed, yes, but the thong tears at toes (Aaaarrrrggg!), and they flip-flop-flip-flop all over the place -- you need to walk very slow or you will be out of them. To wear these on a 5 mile power walk all over the farmers market like I do with my other Birks would just be torture! I only wore them for 10 minutes and then taped them up and back they went. Yech, hated them...I have tried and bought and loved the Birkenstock Medina and Como -- these too are thong styles but they stay on your feet, cause no cutting, burning and slicing sensation around the inside of the big toe. The Adria model was obviously made to expand Birkenstocks market and grab some of these fashion checkouts that only wear flip-flops everywhere--the most painful, non-support footwear on earth. The Adria is not far behind, but at least it has the Birkenstock footbed that might come into play a little if you get used to total lack of upper support (and I tightened the upper buckle all the way!).

I've been wearing Birkenstocks for years, and these are my favorites! One word of caution, I had to gradually "break" them in, as the leather straps were quite stiff. They are my "go to" shoes for sure!

I really like these, they are comfortable and stylish. The leather on the straps is stiff to begin with but I think they will soften nicely.

The Adria's one of several pair of Birks I live in for support/comfort. I had a little trouble at first walking in these & realized it was because there is no strap across the top of the foot as with all my other Birks. After a couple of weeks, I've gotten a better feel & walk with no trouble. Even exercising my legs in different areas. The "flip flop" is wonderful & do not look like a Birk. I now look like I belong in Arizona.

I love these shoes! The pool patent is such a cute, bright color and they are super comfortable, with no break in period for someone used to flip flops.

THE CUTEST Birkenstock style and let's face it, most Birks are comfortable and great for your feet but they give you manly looking feet. NOT THESE! I <3 them, I'll be back for a brown pair if they ever offer them!

Love these shoes! They were comfortable right out of the box. I have problem feet and these certainly helped. Highly recommend them. And I even recommend Zappos more! Super fast shipping and if needed painless returns!

These shoes offer arch support without looking completely lame. My feet do well all day and my job requires a lot of standing. It's hard to find shoes that aren't ugly that don't kill my feet by the end of the day.

This was my first Birkenstock order. I have a pretty bad case of plantar fasciitis in my right foot and can't wear just any flip flops anymore. After reading lots of reviews, I decided to give the Birks a try. The "Pool" color is the most fantastic shade of light turquoise. Just beautiful. While the foot bed was comfortable, I was so sad when the shoe was actually too big for me! I had ordered a 39 (8-8.5 M) which is what I also wear in Danskos but in order for my toes to be in the right place, my heel had to be in the wrong place and vice versa. I called Zappos customer service and was connected with a representative within two minutes. She was fantastic and processed the exchange for me, complete with next day shipping to ensure I have the replacement pair (in a 38 this time) before the weekend. Zappos consistently has THE BEST customer service which is why I keep coming back. I'm still giving the shoe 5 stars. It's adorable and the right size is going to be so comfortable!

I LOVE these flip flops!! I am a shoe-aholic, and must say that I am loving these shoes so much that they have become my favorites! I can't wait to order more in different colors! They run large though....I wear a 6.5, and the 36 fit perfectly. And Zappos is amazing. The best customer service in the history of shopping!!!

I decided I wanted a flip flop style of sandal with a Birkenstock kind of support. The Adria is exactly what I hoped for. There was a little breaking in time and the top strap gave me a little trouble while it was still stiff. Now they are my go-to flips...love them.

I wear a 36 in Birkenstocks but because it said my size was a 38 for 7-7 1/2 I ordered them! huge. Just returned them, sad. The tops fit just fine but too long, so I am assuming like previous posts they might be a little snug across the top. Now I have to wait to order new ones until I get my money back.

After wearing out a similar brand, I decided to try the real thing. But ugh the styles were well, made for comfort not looks. This sandal is very cute and better for your feet than regular flip flops. The size is a bit narrower than normal Birkenstocks (I tried several), but I decided on my normal size 8.5 or 39 because the 40 was too long. Thanks to all the helpful reviews I knew I had to break these in. I sprayed shoe stretch on them and wore them around the house with socks. What a difference an hour makes. I could tighten the strap that was digging into the top of my foot a few hours prior to spraying. If you want comfy, cute flip flops these are for you! But spray them first or your feet will be pretty angry with you. I might get a second pair as these will surely get a lot of summer wear. Zappos was great! I was able to try until I found what I wanted. Love Zappos!

Thank you Birkenstock for making an excellent shoe with all the great things Birks offer, but in an updated sandal! Yay! This shoe MUST be broken in. I wore it around the house starting at 10 minutes, take a break, then another 10 minutes, etc, and increased that time for about a week before wearing out of the house for daily activities. This is a hassle and starts out uncomfortable, but they are well worth the breaking in period! I have these in brown and black. I have recommended these to friends and they love them as well. Perfect support for my plantar fasciatis. Great shoe!!!!

I love the simple, slim line style of these Birks. Like most Birkenstocks there was a breaking in period so I just wore them around the house for a few days. Now they are good to go all day ling.

My flip flop days are not over! I developed plantar fasciitis last year and thought I'd never wear flip flops again. My feet would hurt because there is no arch support in regular flops. I bought a pair of Birk mules as house shoes and its all I wear around the house. I didn't think there would be a cute pair of flip flops that don't scream "hippie shoe." These fit the bill. Okay, they are still Birks, so they have the cork sole but the leather straps make them nice and there is not so much detail that they look totally Birk. Let's face it...flip flops are not fashion statements so a pair of sleek leather flops look better than most. I got the brown color and they are perfect. I thought the straps across the top of the foot would need breaking in but despite being kind of stiff they are comfortable. It's good quality leather that will hold up.

I love these sandals! I've always wanted a pair of Birkenstock sandals but have small feet and the straps on most covered the majority of my foot. I saw these and thought I'd give them a try. I love everything about them, they fit perfectly, the color is great (I have the Habana Oiled Leather), great arch support and they are super comfy! They are my favorite sandals and I wear them all of the time. I plan to order another pair so I have a back-up pair. I would highly recommend them!

I swore I would never wear Birkenstocks. Well, never say never. After a touch of Plantar Fasciitis and missing my flip/flops I went in search of something that was like a flip/flop but provided the support and stability needed so my PF didn't return. After much research I settled on these. Honestly it wasn't love at first sight and it took about 2 weeks to break them in but now I love them. They have molded to my foot and provide the support I need and style I wanted. These don't scream "Birkenstock" which is another plus for me but one star off "style" because it does say "Birkenstock" on the side.

I strained my right ankle and foot and it's still healing. I need to be careful when walking, and these help! I like the stylish thong, which I find comfortable. The only issue I had is that on the right foot, the strap under the buckle wore at my skin. I healed that, and then needed to only wear them here and there, until my skin became used to it. Otherwise, these are helping the stress to heal and keep it from further harm.
