Love these Birks! Same comfortable footbed with a cute look. As other reviewers note, initially you do need to wear them for short periods of time to break in the leather straps. After that - smooth sailing! I bought my normal Birkenstock size 38, and the fit is what I expected.

I love the flip flop style. I bought these because I need the support and down to my bones, I love flip flops. For about a week or two, allow for some time to break them in, but once they are broken in, you will love them.

These are great! They run true to size if going by women's size. I wear 9-9½ and ordered size 40 and they are perfect. I definitely agree with everyone else. Wear a protective bandage under the straps until they soften. Other than that I love the shoes and they are very comfortable.

I bought these flip flops and they arrived in 2 day. were too big. My niece snapped them up, so ordered a smaller pair and they arrived in 2 day, and I love them. Thanks Zappos. This is why I keep coming back!

The quality is unbeatable, sizing chart is questionable. I wear Dansko's size 38 and I wear a 8.5 US size. But this size chart recommended I ordered a 39, so I did. When I got them I was slightly concerned they may be a little too big, but I wore them around the house, eventually outside, & once I broke the leather straps in, I did not want to return them. However, 6 weeks later they looked and felt sloppy on my feet. I liked the shoes so much and knew I'd have them for a really long time, so I ordered a pr of 38's and they are a way better fit.

I took these out of the box, the leather a little stiff (but loved the look and fit) so I got them a little wet, and they softened up beautifully. They have become the only casual shoe I wear this summer. Have a boat load of choices in my closet, but I always pull these out. Cool fashion meets comfort! What else would I want?

Exceed expectations. Arrived earlier than expected, which was a plus. Great fit, especially if you have flat feet & need the support.

Love these Birks, I thought they felt a little stiffer than the ones I've owned in the past, but overall they are pretty comfortable. My only other complaint is that they didn't come in black...and thanks Zappos for being such a great shopping site.

I am an avid Birkenstocks wearer and love their shoes and brand however do NOT buy this style. Birkenstock needs to rethink this leather "flip flop" as the leather on the underside causes too much friction and after 1 day of wearing, the tops of my feet are PERMANENTLY scarred from the rawness and chafing caused by the rubbing of the leather on my skin. Not even being facetious when I say "scarred". Birkenstock needs to add some kind of moleskin or some sort of softer padding to the underside of the leather. I can't wear these shoes ever again. I love the style of the shoe but one wear and they're trash. Avoid avoid avoid. Stick to one of their more traditional styles (of which I own many pair).

I'm a big fan of both flip-flops and Birkenstocks, so when these appeared to be discontinued, I hastened to order a pair. They're great, of course, and as flattering as Birkenstocks get--the placement of the V makes my foot look slender. But the other reviewer was right about the break-in period. These things CUT me! I highly recommend prophylactic Band-Aids under the straps for the first few wearings. (I'm still giving them 5 stars for comfort, on the theory that they'll be fine soon.) They're true to Birkenstock size.

Ouch! These are cutting into my foot! I love the style so much, is anyone having this issue? They are not tight, it is a constant rubbing across my foot.

Never thought I would buy a pair of Birkenstocks but I have 2 now. These are so comfortable and the Adrias look feminine. I loosened up the straps a bit to break them in. They will take a few weeks to break in but totally worth it.

I love these, they fit perfect, very comfortable, like all my Birkenstocks. I am a avid wearer of Arizona's and didn't think I would ever find another sandal I would like as much but now I have two favorites. I would highly recommend these.

I absolutely love these! I have owned and worn Birks since the '90s and there is nothing more comfortable for me, someone who has bunions and heel pain. I am able to wear these all day and night without pain. Thank you Birkenstock!

My feet are fairly wide. Other women's sandals/flip flops will not fit the width of my foot. These fit perfectly and over a little time shape to your foot. Perfect.

I love these Birk flip-flop sandals!! However, the sizing of these is weird! I have 2 other Birkenstock sandals and both are a size 38...I ordered the same in these and they were too big! I had to return and order a 37. Other than this, I love them and have had no issues with rubbing on top of the foot like others have mentioned.

Love these. I bought them to wear around the house. I'm usually a size 9, but 39s in Birkenstocks are usually a bit big, so I sized down to a 38, which is almost a bit small, but works. The straps are skinnier than the traditional Arizona style, so I found these more stylish. But they are so comfortable, I never want to take them off. I prefer them for home though, because I feel they the floppiness of the shoe would too heavy to wear for walking in the city.

I absolutely love these sandals! After trying 3 different pairs of Birkenstocks (thanks for your patience Zappos!) I finally found the perfect ones! Several people said they felt they were sized too large but I feel they are true to size. I actually ordered a size down first and they were too small. The strap is stiff at first but the more I wear them the softer the leather is becoming. Also, the area where they buckle is a bit uncomfortable but I'm wearing a band aid in that spot during the breaking in process. The toe post doesn't bother me at all, I think it's very comfortable. I love these Birkenstock's they are stylish and very comfy!

I got these Birks to replace my regular foamy Rocket Dog flip flops. I got them today. They fit perfect, and I'm a solid 39 in Birks (so I knew they would fit). They are comfortable right out of the box with one caveat. The little piece of leather between the toes is a little stiff, but it will ease with the break in period. Otherwise, very pleased. Of course one of my favorite reasons to get Birks is that you can get them resoled, and the cork can be repaired.

I love these flip flops! They did give me blisters for the first week or so, but now they are extremely comfortable. Like all Birkenstock shoes, they fit me half a size larger than the typical U.S. sizes.

Love the simplicity of the style and the quality and support of Birkenstock. The strap between the toes is slightly rough and takes some getting used to.

The last time I purchased Birkenstocks, I was in college, and you were "cool" if you wore Birkies. Now, I am purchasing them because my feet hurt in all those inexpensive rubber flip-flops we all wear in the summer. I guess I am getting old! Anyway, I chose the Adria because it looked more delicate and feminine than the traditional Birkie, and I was not disappointed. It is very delicate on the foot without looking clunky. And, true to Birkenstock, the Adria is exceptionally comfortable with great support. I normally wear a size 8 to 8.5, and that is what I ordered from Zappos. I was very surprised that the shoe was a size too large when it arrived. Zappos has great customer service, and I received an replacement pair (in a size 7 to 7.5) in a flash. They fit perfectly. Also, I have somewhat wide feet, and I had no problem with these shoes. As for the other reviews stating that the leather blistered their feet at first, I solved that problem by wearing the Adria around the house a day or so with a pair of socks. Glamourous? NO! Would I ever be seen in public like this? ABSOLUTELY NOT! But, it solved the problem, and my Adrias are perfect now. Thanks Zappos!

I love these shoes, and I get a LOT of compliments on them! But I have to say that the first few times I wore them they were extremely painful. The leather (out of the box) is very thick and hard. The way it lays on my foot (mainly the right foot) caused bruising. However, now that I've been wearing them for a couple of weeks I don't have any issues. I'm so thankful to have flip flops with arch support! Definitely worth the initial pain. :)

Let me start off by saying, I love these sandals. The look and feel of the Birkenstock, but reinvented. I had to try a couple of sizes before finding the right one. I typically wear an 8.5, so I ordered the 39. I had to return for the 38. Next, the wearing in process was painful. The leather strap dug into the top of my feet during the first wear. But now that that's behind us, I love them and there's hardly a summer day I won't be wearing them.
