I normally wear an 8 or 8.5 and these fit really well but they were just a bit taller than I'd like in a rain boot, I'm 5'6" and they hit an inch or 2 below my knee. Also I only wore them for a minute to try them on but they felt very warm, I don't think they breathe at all. Cute though!

Fits well, even in the calves, and I don't have skinny calves. Takes effort to get them off though, usually takes my socks with them. Which won't be nice if they are muddy. But easy to get on. I ordered the True Blue color, but they are NOT blue at all, they are purple. Grape purple. Not sure how they can call it blue at all.

I hate most rubber shoes. They are awkward to walk in, heavy, usually pretty ugly and just overall unappealing. These shoes are awkward to walk in, heavy, but more appealing than most. They do their job of keeping my feet and ankles dry, and I have gotten several compliments on them. The ankle bit does come in a little, so they can catch your foot when you try to take them off, but I've never felt stuck in them.

Almost perfect. Keeps feet dry in rain and snow. A little difficult to slide on and off. I have another pair and much easier. They look great and are comfortable to wear all day.

This is a super cute rain boot, and I so wish that it had fit. Having read other reviewer's comments, I figured it was a long shot that it would fit over my huge calves, but I had to give it a chance. Sadly, it was way too small for my 18-inch calves. But for anyone not "blessed" with massive calves, I would recommend this. It was actually much classier looking than the way-more-expensive Hunter Huntress boots that I had to get instead.

After many many seasons of rain, snow and slush, I got my first pair of rain boots. The puddles in NY are about 10 inches deep when the snow melts, and there is no way to avoid the rivers around every corner. A lot of reviews said these are snug around the calves, but I found them to be wider. I'm realizing that's better, since otherwise it would be really hard to get them off. That said, these are still, really hard to get off, and I have narrow feet and chicken legs. I couldn't get one boot off, and had to get hubby to pull it off. However, since rain boots only come in full sizes, it's hard to find a good fit for an 8.5-size shoe, and these size 9s fit quite well, lengthwise at the foot. The price is decent, compared to Hunters or something else, that is designed to do the same job for more money. I think no one expects you to look like a million bucks when it's a downpour, so these boots will do a nice job, they have a clean look, and have a good rubber sole with traction. Go for it.

I've been shopping for boots to wear around my country property when I'm working outdoors. Despite just needing something utilitarian, I still want cute rubber boots. These are definitely stylish. If I were using these purely for style, I would love these boots. They are sleek, lightweight, very well made, and are comfy for my feet. I purchased the burgundy - a really nice color that is a little darker than appears online. The major downside (and reason I am not keeping these) is how difficult they are to take off. I have feet that are narrow/average in size, so I hoped they wouldn't give me the problem everyone else complains about, but unfortunately I too find it very difficult to get my foot out at the bend in the boot. It just requires too much tugging/struggling to get them off. I also worry that they will be too hot to wear in summer since they are so tall and slender fitting to the leg. Instead, I am keeping the Chooka Top Solid boots, which are still very cute and comfy, but much easier to get on and off.

I got these because my Ellie's cracked (sealed them with shoe goo but still wanted another pair), and I like the fit of Kamik--and the fact that they'll recycle the plastic when the boots die. The size runs small, and these don't have a smooth inner lining so socks/pants tend to grab a bit, but the color is so fun and the foot-bed is super comfy as usual. They're great!

They're gorgeous. They looked blue in the photo but turned out to be more purple. Still a great color. On the negative side, they're hard to get on and off and they rub against the outside of my ankle in an uncomfortable way if I don't wear the right socks. They also got a little scuffed up really quickly.

Just bought this shoe for NYC winter since I wasn't able to find any more snow boots in my size that I liked. I wore them today during a snow storm of which resulted in puddles of slush, water and inches of snow and my feet stayed warm, comfortable and dry. The boots did not slip at all in the inches of snow of slush. They are very comfortable, just need a little extra strength to take them off but that's because it's rubber, only rational. I normally wear a size 7 and the size 7 for this shoe fit perfectly on my thin foot but I kept the size 8 just because if I ever wanted to put in extra thick/extra socks on I would be able to more comfortably (wanted to be safe). The width does increase by a little as the size goes up. If you have wide feet, I would go a size up. they're very cute and more of a matte dark red. The only bad thing with these boots is that they semi get scratched up from the walking and it leaves white rubber marks. But not a huge deal, they're meant to be worn in non-pretty weather.

I really love these boots! I was trying for the longest time to find some rain boots that didn't look clunky/weren't electric green. These fit the bill beautifully and are super comfy. When worn with jeans, most folks had no idea they were rain boots. And as always, Zappos had them to me in no time.

I am really pleased with these boots. Style-wise there is really no comparison. True to other reviewers comments the calf opening is small and could be tight if you have muscular legs, but work fine for me. Overall, I give these boots 4 stars.

This boot fit my narrow foot well. I did have to wear a 3/4 arch support with it. I returned it because the stiff rubber in the shaft made a slapping sound on my calf when I walked. Otherwise, I would have kept it.

While I love the look of these boots, I would say that they would most likely look better one woman with calves a bit larger than mine. For half the price, they definitely rival the Hunter boot collection in durability which is a major plus!

These rain boots are very sharp and well designed. I ordered my regular size (6) , and decided to exchange for a size up. The 6 fits, but is cumbersome to remove. I think I would be happier with a larger size that is easier to slip on and off.

After trying a lot of different boots I chose these. I have been wearing Hunter boots for years for barn work but the last pair of Hunters I bought cracked and started leaking after a year of wear. I figured I'd try something else if Hunter's quality has gone downhill. These boots fit similarly to Hunters. Nice slim calf and tight ankles that make it easy to walk. These are the first rubber boots I've tried that didn't need special insoles to make them comfortable. So far I am really happy. We'll see how they last. I wish they didn't have the big goofy shield on the side but they'll be covered in dirt soon enough.

Really classy rainboot, get a lot of compliments on them, true to color and size, except width of calf. Almost sent them back because they were a tighter fit around the calf than expected and because the first day I wore them the "buckle" on the right side (only) kept popping out - not that it slipped out but sort of popped out in the middle. There's some weird silver clasp keeping the buckle attached in the center and the buckle is made out of the same slippery material as the boot itself. It was protruding away from the boot a little so I just pushed it in and it still stuck out, a little than the other side, but I was able to look past it. I am an average girl with an normal "athletic" build and measured my calf prior to purchase at 15". These are very snug and "sticky" when you wear them with a naked calf (without socks); however, if you are looking to wear them for style on a rainy day, with tight skinny jeans/jeggings/leggings then they would serve this purpose perfectly. I actually went to a college graduation and was on my feet for hours while it down poured and these kept my feet nice and dry and I was comfortable enough standing the whole time. The quality of the boot is excellently crafted as far as the material inside, outside, and keeping water out, and I like the slight arch support the boot provides compared to many traditional flat rain boots. Overall I am satisfied as the boot as it is great quality, looks classy yet simple enough, and the price was reasonable.

I just got these boots today and it rained! They are comfortable and waterproof and stylish! My husband took one look at me wearing them and told me, "now those are sexy boots!" They are narrow. I did not have a problem putting them on, but getting them off is harder than you would think. The secret is to relax your feet. I wore them to do some shopping and they were comfortable, but after a while they were rubbing my ankles. I was wearing them barefoot so I guess I need to wear socks with them. I wore them with bootcut jeans and had no problem - there is room to wear them with thick socks in the winter.

I'm usually a size 6 1/2 or 7 and find that in boots I usually have a little wiggle room in a size 7. I got these boots in a 7 but would suggest a half size up, especially if you want to wear thick socks. I have average calves (never have a problem fitting into narrow boots) but these just feel SO narrow. They're extremely difficult for me to put on and take off because the ankle is even narrower. Actual boot fits snuggly on my foot. I'll be keeping them because they're very good quality and very cute (I got the red and they are a true red) but just wish they weren't so tight!

Walk my kids to/from school every day and needed a good pair of rain boots without spending too much money. These are great: comfortable, taller than most (right below my knee), and fit my wide calves. Only slight drawbacks: the huge logo on the side, and that I can't fit anything bulkier than skinny jeans or khakis in the boot.

Love the look of this boot, but I have a wide calf and it just didn't work for me. The color is not quite as bright red as I thought it might be. Would have kept it if it fit.

Great boots, with one design flaw, hence the 4 stars. Although the buckle on the side is attractive, it serves no purpose. The Zappos video is deceiving in that it does nothing to improve the fit of the boot around your calf. Also, the buckle is incredibly cheap. So cheap that after a few hours of wear, only inside my house, the buckles on both boots somehow managed to get bent backwards, so easily that I didn't even feel it happen. I was able to bend them back, and although the keep getting bent and the straps keep sliding out, I've resolved just to glue them into place because they are otherwise such a great boot. A pity that I have to do this because for a boot at this price, I wouldn't want to lose the buckle so quickly and ruin the look.

Comfortable light weight rain boot but the it runs very high on the calf. I am 5'10 and ordered an 11 boot (normally wear 10-10.5) but felt the 11 gave me enough room with medium to heavy weight socks. The boot is also VERY snug on the calf and I would not be able to get a pant in it if I wanted to and I do not have very big calves. So if you are Olive Oyl-ish then you would probably be good to go with these!

These are the most comfortable boots I've ever owned! The only complaint I have is that they mark really easy - and where the tag was there is a gash out of the rubber, but I figured they're rain boots - they're meant to be rugged. The little emblem is slightly crooked on the one side - so that is why I took off a star. Not super noticeable things but I'm a little OCD about things being perfect when I first get them. I usually wear an 8.5 to a 9 but the 10 felt more comfortable. The 9 felt like it was pushing in my ankle bone when I walked, but the foot bed fit. The 10 is also easier to step out of it instead of having to twist and pull it off too much - so I don't know if the circumference goes up with size - my calf is 15 inches if that helps. I'm also very flat footed so the slight arch is nice. I'm 5'8"ish and the height of the boot is perfect - sits in a comfortable spot below the knee. I wanted to wear thick socks and be able to tuck in my jeans with them during winters so it just made more sense to size up - I guess it depends what climate you're in. A 9.5 probably would have been a perfect fit, but I don't think they have half sizes. Still incredibly comfortable.

Great color and the matte finish is really nice. Kamik needs to take a little more time when applying the crest. One is a little crooked, but not enough to send the boot back. The boots rubbed one ankle for a bit when I tucked my jeans in but when I readjusted my sock/pant leg all was fine. The boot makes a bit of noise as I walk with the shaft hitting the front and back of my leg that might bug some folks, but I am OK with it. They are stiff but you need to expect that from such a tall rain boot. Overall i am very happy with them.
