These boots looked very well made and sturdy. Unfortunately they are too tall for me. They hit my knee at the back when I bend my leg. Have to send them back.

I live in the US PNW, where it rains 8 months out of the year. I liked these Kamiks better than Bogs, Hunter, and Sakroot because: - they do not smell of rubber or chemicals - they are so much lighter - I don't get tired wearing them - they are cheaper than Bogs or Hunter I bought these primarily for bike commuting. They work pretty well, but the shaft is about an inch too tall and the top edge of the boot hits the back of my thigh. This is only annoying if I'm wearing shorts, though. The soles have good grip; they stick to my pedals pretty well and I haven't slipped yet putting a foot down. (I do have pretty long pins on my pedals, though.) They are very comfortable walking around in. I went on a two hour hike in them and was just fine. I have slender (13 1/2") calves and rain's gotten in the boots when it's raining really hard. The buckle adjustment didn't really do anything. I have a "low volume" foot and haven't had any problems taking these on and off, but if you have high arches, I can see it being a pretty tight squeeze.

These boots were super cute and great quality! Sadly, my 16" athletic calves were too big. Even though I was able to pull them on, they squeezed a bit and wouldn't leave room for skinny jeans. The width of the foot was great, and it was nice that they tapered at the ankle. Most rain boots are pretty shapeless, but these were very attractive. I would recommend them to anyone with calves measuring 15" or less.

These are sturdy but very difficult to put on and take off. I am 5'4", 115 lbs and wear size 6 shoe. I ordered these in a 6 and they fit but are difficult to get my foot through the "ankle" part of the boot. They are snug with a skinny jean but workable. I cannot get them off without using a heel boot puller that I used to use with horseback riding field boots. No way could I get them off without this tool.

Nice looking boot that is well constructed. The boot is tall, too, which is especially nice for a rain boot. I had to return these because I have a narrow foot and these were just too wide for me (I often have this problem with rain boots).

I'm 5'2, 116 lbs, fit, long legs (for petite) with 13-inch calves. I had no problem putting these boots on with thick winter socks & thick knit pajama pants (I was lounging around when my zappos package arrived). So I'm thinking leggings, jeans wont give me any trouble. I was afraid that the shalf would be too long for me but luckily the boots come up to about an inch and a half below the knees. Not uncomfortable. Looks great. The material is nice. The Olive color appears a bit more green/cool in real life than brown/warmer as shown online. Also, I agree with the other reviewers who say that it is hard to take them off. I had to use one foot (while still inside the boot) to hold the other boot down, by stepping on it, while I tried to wiggle my foot out with the help of both hands. I also bought the Kamik shellylo rain boots that fit both myself and my daughter who is 11 & highly recommend them.

I bought these because I'll need a good pair of rain boots for a 6 month stint in London. I wavered between these and Hunters. Based on the reviews and the fact that these are recyclable I went with the Kamik's in olive green. The boots are very stylish. I ordered them in my true size. They fit like a dream. I'm 5'8 and 130lbs. My calves are just under 14". Initially I had a bit of a problem getting them on, but I put a sock on and the boots slid on easily. Even with a sock the boots have plenty of room. I wore them over skinny jeans. Looked great. There's enough room to tuck in bootcut jeans comfortably. The boots fall about 3" shy of my knee. They are a bit stiff in the ankle but not enough to impede my walk. I plan on wearing these a lot during the rainy London Spring. The fact that they cost about 40% of what Hunters cost was a bonus.

I wanted to love these, but they were like suction cups on my calves! Cute boots and a really good price, but I need to return them!

I previously purchased another Kamik style that came in Wide widths, but they were no longer available. Decided to try these even though they also are only medium width. I wore them for a few minutes numerous times around the house because I just wasn't sure they would work for me. Finally gave in and have worn them walking muddy trails the past 2 days. They fit well with regular socks, not too tight in width, and are comfortable for walking. I don't think I can get thick socks in them. However, they are difficult to get on because of the slim ankle (and my curvy foot). Once on, they are fine, but I wish on and off was easier. They are taller than my others and can interfere with my knee brace unless I shove in down inside - which does seems to work.

After debating whether or not to order a pair of Hunter rain boots, I came across these and read SO many amazing reviews on them! I decided to give them a try and I wasn't disappointed! I ordered the plain black pair in a size 8 (I'm about a 7 and 1/2 in women's shoes) and I love them. I actually had people complimenting them the first time I had them on! One person actually asked me if they were Hunter boots and I proudly said, "Absolutely not!" The only drawback I found with these boots is that they are pretty tough to get on and off until they are fully broken in. They were very tight around the ankle, which also made it a little difficult to drive. The boot doesn't quite flex enough to making driving comfortable. Regardless of the width, I still love these boots and I would choose these over Hunters any day!

I have only worn this boot a couple of times, but so far I'm pleased. I would be happier if the toe box was a little wider and the size a little larger, but there is no size 11 1/2, so I figured I'd make due (I have a relatively hard time finding shoes with a wide enough toe box for me though).

I'm moving to London and needed some rainboots but didn't want to spend too much money. Still I got these and hunters and these were more comfortable! I don't know if I'd walk miles and miles, but it's got reasonable support and fits over my calves.

I have high arches, could barely get these boots on. I usually wear a 9-9.5 ordered the 10 and fit. They are so pretty though but back they go!

Chose the blue which is really more like a teal but very pretty. One thing is that I am having a hard time getting them on and off, I have very high arches. Purchased one size up. Will probably keep!

I have larger calves (measured around 15") and I was a little concerned that these were not going to fit. They fit great! They were a little tough getting on but but once they were on, they were extremely comfortable. I like the company, I like the product and I would definitely recommend buying these. I also tried the Ellie boot and they were super cute - the circumference of the boot was just too snug for my calves.

The boot is well made and I love the look but the size was a bit small. Hard to get off. I wear an 8 and the 8 was more like a 7½. I plan to exchange for the 9. Also, hopefully the 9 will have a larger shaft. My 15" calves barely fit with skinny jeans on. I do love the boot though and hope a larger size will fix the problem!

Nice looking, with a comfortable insole, and supportive overall boot. Unfortunately, they were a little short, even with very thin socks. (I'd prefer to wear the boots with thicker socks.) I would suggest sizing up a half size if you intend to wear thin socks, or a full size to accommodate thick socks.

I compared these with Hunter boots and Kamik Olivia (all in size 8 - my normal size), and these were the only ones that fit. The Kamik Olivia was really tight in the footbed. The Hunters fit like a 9, were too tall, and had a terrible chemical smell. Plus, I really hate that ugly label in the front. These Kamiks are a little looser in the calf than I would like, but I have a very narrow calf. They are comfortable to walk in and as close to perfect as I am going to get so I'm keeping these.

My toes were claustrophobic in these, but they looked cute on! I am a 6 1/2 or 7 but wider through the front of the foot, and I have slim but muscular calves. Both the toe box and boot shaft felt a little snug, and I'm pretty sure if I went up a full size the foot would be too large. Too bad, because these were otherwise super cute and well-made.

Very comfortable. Right out of the box I worn these to a rainy college football game. Super comfortable, good support and my feet were dry. The calf is a bit tight though so those with larger calves be warned. I worn these with skinny jeans and was ok. Foot area was true to size for my foot.

I'll start out by admitting I have humongous calves so it probably isn't the boots' fault that I'm having such a difficult time putting and taking them off. That said, the arch is also really low and makes wearing uncomfortable. I'm returning these.

I read good things about the Kamik Jennifer boots so I was excited to try them out. Unfortunately, they didn't fit around my calf comfortably (I think it's me not the boot) and I had to return them. That said, in the short time I had them, they were very sturdy and I thought the quality was good. I would happily buy them again if they had a larger calf circumference!
